It's coming back by popular demand! The Bell Tree World Championship! After three years, our grand gaming event will return on May 18th with ten Nintendo Switch games to play, both competitively and casually. Signups for the event are now open as explained in the new Bell Tree World Championship 2024 thread!
I'm going to throw up a post for one tomorrow after work unless someone starts one before me. I'll make it 32 if we actually have that many people trying to join.
Good games. This one went relatively smooth, hopefully the next one is similar.
A lot of people I've never played with advanced in this tournament, which is cool.
I'm anticipating how it will look with a losers bracket- it will mean better players won't be eliminated as quickly, but the tournament will also be much longer.
Also, I suggest allowing tournament approved stages. Omegas can get boring. That means adding: Final Destination, Smashville, Battlefield, Town and City, Lylat Cruise. Offline rules also have counter-pick stages, so I'm not sure if we'd include these or not but why not imo: Kongo Jungle, Delfino Plaza, Castle Siege, Duck Hunt, Battleship Halberd, Pilot Wings.
