Welcome to The Wishing Star, the most magical place you'll find within The Observatory! Throughout your week-long stay at The Observatory, you'll have two opportunities to wish upon a star and show your appreciation for your crew's chosen representative in an epic battle between International Space Cetacean and Moon Bunnies crews!

How To Play Both the International Space Cetacean and Moon Bunnies crews will first select an Animal Crossing character to represent them at The Wishing Star to compete during your time at The Observatory.
Then later this week, look up at the sky as The Wishing Star will open up two limited-time Wishing Windows allowing you to wish upon a star by donating Stardust currency to your crew's chosen representative!
In exchange for donations, our chosen ones will return the favour with prizes made available to their crew depending on how much Star Dust was contributed. Notably, these prizes will include Crew Points!
You can contribute Star Dust to your crew's representative by donating this special currency to their respective NPC accounts:
- Donate to Whale Shark for International Space Cetacean by clicking here.
- Donate to Ruby for Moon Bunnies by clicking here.
You can earn Star Dust by engaging with the forum and the Space Camp Bell Tree event during the Wishing Windows, including creating posts and participating in forum activities. Legend has it that spacing out your activities throughout the day could prove more fruitful!

Prizes Prizes can be earned at The Wishing Star when Wishing Milestones for a crew's representative have been reached. When a Wishing Window ends, the current values of Star Dust for each representative will determine prizes for each crew, including valuable Crew Points!
Prizes will be distributed directly to everyone who contributes a meaningful amount of Star Dust to their crew's representative.
The specific available prizes can be found under the Current Wishing Window heading in this thread when a window is active. These will change between each Wishing Window throughout the week.
Rules & Guidelines In addition to all of the explanatory sections above, here's a bit of extra 'fine print' rules to keep in mind:
- Star Dust can only be earned while Wishing Windows are currently active.
- Star Dust will be reset between each Wishing Window.
- General forum Rules and Guidelines still apply. We encourage activity in pursuit of Star Dust, but obvious spam is discouraged in the same sense as any other context. Please be reasonable or we'll have to intervene!
- Blessing Window milestones are subject to change and may be adjusted at any time if deemed necessary.
Schedule There will be 1 Voting Window and 2 Wishing Windows throughout your stay at The Observatory this week. The current schedule can be found below:
- Voting Window: Tue, Aug 1st 7PM EDT - Wed, Aug 2nd 6PM EDT
- Wishing Window 1: Wed, Aug 2nd 7PM EDT - Fri, Aug 4th 7PM EDT
