Town Fruit Reccomendation [If you get it]
Apple I think it goes well with autumn, winter forests anything really plus they look super pretty when they are perfect fruit!

You could also use R.A.M editor to move clovers into the water and bushes and stuff and place villagers houses there are heaps of tutorials on how to use it if your up for it, it can really shape towns to really cute places :3 Since if you dont like placement of like the town plaza or something you can move it. They said you should outline villagers houses with paths so that you can see where they are.
This is completely up to you but you could do something like a villager theme where you do all deers, or all squirrels its not ideal but its your choice hehe.
Resource ideas like: use a lot of cedar saplings for it because the forests are mostly made of trees similar to that.
You're going to need a lot of trees and flowers. You can use the sweet-olive bushes for borders to the paths if you want, because they aren't as floral so it wont look too tacky. Clovers and weeds make it look natural and overgrown. If thats the kind of look your going for then yeah xD :3
Avoid hibiscus starts at all costs. xD

Ive seen this in a lot of towns: a little bit near a cliff or an edge near a river or something 2 tree stumps some trees and bushes around it and flowers and it looks like you can sit and talk to friends there .3.
