What Are You Happy About Today?

- Surprisingly got paid today ! For some reason i was under the impression I'd only be getting like £200 for the half week i worked before I got let go, but actually got paid 4x that much 
Not sure why, maybe because they had to cover the notice period they didn't give me, or any holidays they owed me. Feels like I was paid for doing nothing. It's actually really nice to have that after I just spent quite a bit yesterday haha, and glad I have a new job now too.
- Another sunny day, and pretty warm!
- I actually did a bit of reading today.
- Made avocado toast w/ sausage for my lunch

It is Friday! 
I get paid on Tuesday and my payslip went up today. Deducted £50 for a day I went home early, but I can't complain at that. Given this is my first paycheck since finally paying off years of credit card debt it is still going to feel amazing. I'm on a good salary but I've never really been able to enjoy that with 33-50% of my earnings going to debt repayments every month. Being able to replace my Jordans and justify saving beyond my emergency vet fund is going to feel so good.
My partner cancelled her plans so we are spending the evening at home together. I've just ordered us Chinese takeout - Singapore chow mein for me.
A friend called me an hour ago and asked if I want to make plans for this weekend. We only met a couple of weeks ago so it is nice of him to initiate we meet up again!

☾ Griping about it WORKED, I was able to get in touch with my doctor’s office and schedule my surgery + related appointments today!! I feel so much better now ;w;
☾ Watched Markiplier’s second White Knuckle video!! I still can’t believe this is just a demo version.
☾ I made some progress on my current personal art project!
☾ And I made a few more rubber band bracelets this evening! I enjoy making them, but don’t usually want them for myself, so almost all of these wind up as prizes for my dad’s students… buuuut I made a pastel rainbow one with clear glitter beads and metallic letter beadsthat spell out “AMONG US” that I just kind of adored, so I’ve decided I’m keeping that one for myself ehehe (❁´◡`❁) I think it pairs really nicely with my Poyo Puffs bracelet I made during the last TBTWC!!

Today has been pretty good!
I got my art thread almost up to date. I was really happy to hear from @jadetine and to hear that she is doing good!
I made more progress on the easter egg today; might work on it more. I think I’m done shading one of the legs; I think I’m happy with it. The shading was extremely challenging. I still have more to finish, so it may need to touch it up more once I’m closer to being finished with the whole drawing.
My mom recently found some chips that we’ve been looking for for awhile; I’m not sure if it is the brand but it tastes the same as the one that I’ve been looking for, so I’m happy
.
Spanky kept following me around today. Her favorite thing to do is run in front of me and wait for me in the basement and when she seems I’m going there (if I am), she runs to the rug in front of the litter and plops and rolls there
.
I had a fun Among Us session; I got some snacks in hide and seek today. Unfortunately, no @Xara or her breb, but maybe tomorrow and hopefully in classic 
. I still can’t shake off the crew curse 
. Hopefully the servers are better tomorrow so I can play on my switch; I want to enjoy my space cat and silly cosmetics .
My mood today has been much better too. There still some stuff on my mind but it didn’t affecting my mood thankfully.

In my last post I talked about us getting a puppy, but we sadly changed our minds. However, there were a few small happy things that happened today:
- I finished my drawing to commemorate my 3rd anniversary on TBT, coming up in a few days! I started it about a few weeks ago and didn't make much progress on it until recently because of how busy I was. I'm proud of how everything came out, especially the whiteboard doodles!
- I've been having fun in @xSuperMario64x's supa private Discord server lately. I usually feel awkward in other servers, but there's something about being in a small group with people I know that appeals to me. It also helps that @ZeldaCrossing64 is there too!
- My dad brought home French fries and chicken tenders!

Today me and mum went to Town ~ I sold some switch games and a dvd at the cex shop then we looked in the works & HMV and then went to Primark and I bought a Hello kitty crossbody bag & a foldaway shopper bag & I just ordered a Hello Kitty Nintendo switch case kit online ^u^

Saturday is often a recovery day for me. Working full time with CFS and heart rate issues is a challenge. But after about 2hrs of being awake (a symptom of my condition is I feel like I've the flu when I first wake-up) I actually had a lot of energy! 
I cooked sausages, fried egg, and hash browns for breakfast. Delicious.
I've managed to make a great start on my weekend chores. I played some Dynasty Warriors Origins and spent much of the afternoon chilling on the couch with my boys watching documentaries.
I've made plans to see a friend tomorrow afternoon. We don't know what we are doing yet but I imagine a beer is on the cards.
I mentioned in here yesterday that I'd like to buy a new pair of Air Jordans when I get paid in a few days. My mum text me earlier saying she's sending me £150 for my birthday (May 18th) to buy new trainers. I've a preference for practical gifts so that is very much appreciated!
I've a quiet evening planned and I'm very much intending to enjoy it.

Went to my niece’s volleyball tournament. They played two games and won both. So now Champions. Way to go Huskies.

Yesterday
- My grandparents (on my dad's side) took me to the movies to see "The King of Kings". I am an atheist (which they are not aware), but I still found the movie cute and enjoyable all the same. ^_^
- I ate Texas Burger afterwards when I got back home. ^_^
Today
- I still need to fully test this out, but I think I found a way to premiere videos after them being uploaded with no publication + premiere date: You first have to upload the video as unlisted. Then when you are ready to publicly premiere it, you set it as instant premiere (or if you want to schedule it earlier on/beforehand, you just set it for the actual scheduled time). I don't know why I didn't think of this, like, 3-4 years ago when I first started to premiere videos on YouTube, but better late than never, I guess. XDDD
You see, I spent so much time resorting to just setting videos I intended to premiere at random dates they were a year or two away, then re-scheduled them for the actual time when I knew when a good time to premiere them. I always found this a bit inconvenient. Not only that, but there was even a time were I had a video premiere before I was ready (despite having it set to premiere far into the future) and I got *****ed at for it by someone -- this person had the tendency to be strict and bossy in general, but I digress. Again, I still need to fully test this out, but from what I have seen so far, I think it is gonna work. ^__^
- My brother got Church's chicken and I ate the fries from it. ^_^

☾ We got those catnip rainbow toys for both of the kitties and ohh my god they LOVE them!! Both have had a blast playing with them, and Rat was trying to get them before we even got them out of the packaging LOL ;w;

☾ I re-organized my bookshelves today! I moved… so many stacks of manga… it was kind of a workout, BUT after swapping some shelves around, I managed to clear up a lot more space for new ones!! Which… is good because my bookshelf was actually overflowing ajhgdkfsdk

- I got a ton of cleaning and decluttering done this weekend
- Med adjustments my psychiatrist made recently helped me a lot. No longer manic thankfully.
- I got some new watch bands for my smart watch and some screen protectors for it too so I’m happy about that
- I also got a Google Onn streaming stick for my tv which I’ve been enjoying
- Oh and one more thing I got, a smart scale. Which should help me with my weight loss goals
- Started playing Pikmin Bloom. Hoping it motivates me to take more walks outside now that the weathers a lot nicer.
- I’m almost finished with the game Life is Strange 2, really have enjoyed it thoroughly. Next up is Life is Strange: True Colors.
- Having a nice chill relaxing Sunday
- Caught up on all the Final Destination movies in preparation to go see the new one coming out in theater May 16th.
- Enjoying some coffee and music right now
- Been dissociating a lot less recently, relieved about that
- Got some new books for my Kindle

My Hello Kitty switch case came today ^u^
I went to the cinema on my own today! I'm like so proud of myself bc I was so anxious about it hahaha, in my mind I'd walk in and everyone would point and laugh (I know they wouldn't but my brain likes to annoy me) but in reality I was beside two people also on their own ! normally I'd drag someone but they only had single seats left but I pushed myself to book anyway
