Some more things I’m happy about:

My nintendo subscription apparently ran out but I was able to renew it; I got the family plan and was able to put my account on my switch lite on it. I still have connection issues even in ACNH, unfortunately. I was able to get a trade done with only one disconnect (tysm for your patience @rrenaa ).

Now I’m a little overwhelmed with what I want to do. I want to get back to my second island and island journal. At the same time, I still have to finish my playthrough of Persona 5 Royal and I got other games I want to play. On too of that, I have some drawings to finish & do. I really wish I could do all, I can’t manage time or focus on more than one thing though. I’ll figure something out though eventually. I’ve been doing smaller drawing projects to get myself back into drawing so I can finish the big project I was doing. Haven’t finished any of them aside for the two collectibles I drew; my plague doctor needs some editing since I forgot to add the blush marks.

I had a nice chat with @BetsySundrop earlier .

❀ I had a nice Easter with my family! I was happy to see them and spend quality time with them. I got to chat with them, meet my sister's bird (who is pretty cute), and played some card games with some of the kids and my siblings. It was really nice!

❀ I have continued working on Kirby and the Forgotten Land in preparation for the Switch 2 Edition upgrade. I really enjoyed it when it was first released, but life got in the way, and then I veered off into other games, so I'm glad I've been able to get back to it, since I genuinely adore this game!

❀ My BFF has been supportive, and a sounding board for my thoughts, and I'm always grateful for that.

❀ A bit older, but I pre-ordered the Switch 2 when it was available as well as Mario Kart World, and then separately, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. I realised afterward I'd been given a gift card for my birthday for the game store I purchased them from, which I'd been keeping for the Switch 2, but I forgot to use it. Oops! I guess it can go toward a future game!

❀ There's been a break over Easter, so things have been less stressful, and now that I've finished up some work I was doing, I can now focus more deeply on other things.

❀ I enjoyed figuring out how to work on smaller canvases during the egg designing event, so I've continued playing around with that a bit.

One of our more dangerous items expired and it was my job to dispose of it. It was a water-reactive metal, and to dispose of it you need to let the reaction play out and then neutralise it with 2 mol/L nitric or hydrochloric acid. I had a large volume to dispose of too. Dangerous but fun when you're properly trained on how to do it safely.

I've a job interview tomorrow! I'm nervous but excited. It's good to know I've options and I'm not locked into my current field (education). Although it is a very specialised role, and specialising is somewhat scary.

I'm going to have a quiet relaxing evening. Or as relaxed as I can be!

This was a week ago, but I forgot to post about this last time: I finished building the LEGO Easter set I got from my sister! It was fun, and the idea behind it is cute.

On Monday I got around to watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Everything about it was cool, and I hope I can see it again with my partner in the future.

And today I have some great news! We might be getting a dog soon, because my cousin was given a puppy and he's letting us have it for free! I'm not really a dog person, but it'll be interesting having a pet in the family after our aquarium fish.

I had a very productive interview today and am doing a follow up interview tomorrow. I am hopeful the good luck and good vibes continue. I also hope this a good fit for me and promotes growth and a little bit more stability. I’m also just happy the weather is better now as the storms were getting tiresome and my poor dog is just not comfortable with them at all. I am hopeful I can get her the calming hoodie and that will help her relax a little bit more during storms. I’m also still on the puppy hunt for my girl to have a companion. Maltipoos apparently do better and thrive more with another doggy friend so we will be adopting another dog to be there with her and she will continue to learn! I just love her so much she’s just everything to me.

☾ Saw Grian’s new Hermitcraft video and some other stuff on Youtube with my family this evening! My mom and I also finished watching CoryxKenshin’s Resident Evil: Village playthrough, and caught up on a couple of Markiplier’s recent videos too!

☾ I made a couple more rubber band bracelets while we were watching stuff!

Today ended up being kinda crappy, but it might get better.

There still is plenty that I’m happy about. .

Earlier someone reached out to me about something that helped me feel better.

I made some progress on a small easter egg idea project that I’m doing. I think I might be able to finish it soonish if I keep this up . I think I’m really happy with rhe shading on it. Still not sure about the wings but I still feel like it is significant improvement. Hopefully I can get the colors right when I need to adjust the colors of the feathers more.

I made more progress on my art thread; hopefully soon I’ll have it caught up so I can start sharing current/future projects in it.

I looked throw my photos again at the templates I made for my island journal and also at my island journal. I’m looking forward to working on it again if I can get the time. Debating between that or finishing up my Persona 5 playthrough. Or maybe waiting until I finish up more stuff. Still, I have a lot of things I want to do which is good; much better than being entirely depressed.

I got snuggles from both Jewels and Spanky earlier today.

☾ I finally got my W-2 from my old job after several phone calls to all kinds of different numbers. It should not have been this hard, but I’m glad to have my taxes done now. And I’m actually getting money back this year!
☾ The LA Kings are about to go up 2-0 in their first round series against the Edmonton Oilers! This hockey that the Kings are playing is the kind that I wanted to see for the past three years.
☾ I’ve been really into the Blue Box anime lately. I finished the first season and I’m looking forward to the second season.

What happened yesterday:
- I went shopping with my mom and aunt.
- We ate some food at a Mediterranean restaurant that tasted great.

What happened today:
- I had some yummy kebab with rice for dinner.
- Worked on a sketch of a fox cub in colored pencil.
- Watched a movie in the evening.
- Received some good grades on my assignments for uni. My group members and I were kind of confused about the prompt for the previous assignment, though I helped us get a good grade by assembling a collage for the creative part of the PowerPoint presentation. Glad my professor admired it.

♡ Slept almost all day yesterday after working two separate 5 hour shifts in the same day-- the day before xD I was sooo exhausted! I also went to bed fairly early last night, too. I didn't even use a blanket. I literally just passed out >< I got up early to make breakfast and my creme brulee iced coffee before I have to work in a few hours. I'm looking forward to another day of training! ^_^

♡ I went to the mall yesterday after my therapy session. Accidentally spent $100 at Bath and Body Works. You may ask how that's an accident. TBH, my mistake was walking into the store instead of walking past it; like I had originally planned. I will say though I did get some goodies! I got 4 new body sprays (I'm really excited to try them), a candle for my mom for Mother's Day, and two wallflower scents. I stopped by MINISO to get a mango Calpico drink, along with some shrimp chips and honey butter chips. I didn't realize the honey butter chips were the quattro cheese flavor, tho.. T^T They're still yummy!

♡ I did a little bit of cleaning once I got back home. My room looks like a trainwreck >< I took my trash out, replaced the wallflower plug-in in my outlet, and tidied up my bed. When this happens, I REALLY miss my twin sized bed. Now I have a full, which takes up half of my bedroom. The other side of my bed mainly just collects miscellaneous objects or clothing. -__-

♡ Got a few packages in the mail within the last week. I got this Pompompurin cosmetics bag on his birthday and I was able to use the discount code that people received for his birthday. I got a 3DS XL clear case to put on my console so it doesn't get damaged.. and my favorite thing I think I got was a Xander FE:Fates keychain from a small artist/business c: I got it off Mercari and the seller got it at Artist Alley about 9 or 10 years ago. Crazy to think Fates is going to be 10 years old this year.. man.

♡ Got all my medications refilled! I had been without my antipsychotic for almost a week and when I realized I didn't have any more.. It was too late to call my psych for a refill. They were closed on Friday, and my pharmacy refused to do an emergency refill bc it's an expensive medication. So I had to wait until Tuesday night to get them. I'm so happy about this because it's when I'm without a medication, that I realize how much they help me.

- The weather has been lovely today! I hung my washing out to dry

- Liking the look of my work schedule haha, I was concerned because they'd booked me in on a day I said I was on holiday for, but they updated it so I have the day off, so kind of relieved about that Going for a spa break at a hotel on that weekend

- Did some online shopping I've been putting off. Basically I needed to buy a whole new closet for loungewear cause my old stuff is ratty af. I also ordered some skincare, mostly just my reliable favourites + some serum I'm gonna try out. Might also buy a t-shirt I've been wanting to get...

I had my job interview today. I went in with concerns that were quickly alleviated. Also, one of my interviewers was the woman who trained me in my very first job! She even stuck around for a chat after. I saw two other people I used to work with too while touring the lab - all from different past jobs.

I think I did a good job of answering their questions - the interview actually lasted 30 mins longer than the intended hour, oops. If I don't get offered the position I'm sure it'll be because they found a more suitable candidate rather than me being awful.

I got home an hour and a half earlier than usual today, and my girlfriend said she'll be home late. I've not had time to myself in a few days so I'm going to make sure to enjoy it.

☾ I watched Markiplier’s first White Knuckle video! It was really fun and a cool concept for a game, so I’m looking forward to checking out the next one soon!

☾ Played Minecraft for a bit today! I found another Enchanted Golden Apple finally, so I was able to get the achievement for making a banner with it ;w; Also got the smithing template from the jungle temple, so I’m one closer to getting the achievement for using all of them! Going to take on a woodland mansion next time in hopes of finding the Vex smithing template!

☾ I worked on an art piece I’m trying to finish before the end of the month eheh ;v;
