I saw a lot of people folding origami horses, so I decided to give that a whirl for the heck of it. I haven't folded origami in years, but I was pretty good at it when I was younger.

No size requirement! Tiny is fine as long as it's not microscopic.

Finally got around to completing my craft, I kept changing what I wanted it to be lol. It's a little hanging decoration, with various auspicious Chinese characters around it. I chose six that I thought are values and things I would like to have and keep in the new year: fu (good luck), ai (love), he (harmony), de (virtue), xi (joy), and ji (propitious). Bonus inclusion of a watercolour from one scene in Kung Fu Panda, which I watched the other day in honour of the LNY!

So this is my entry! Working with metal wire was a lot more complicated than I thought it would be My original design was trying to do something kinda cloisonne-like but couldn't get the wire bits small enough to make a decent pattern where I could fill in the gaps. I've done a horse bust instead with a little lantern dangling from the bottom! I tried hanging it but my camera had a hard time focusing on the metal. Maybe next time I should try working with something easier to handle

My horse is made out of modeling magic which is a soft clay. With a gold flower for good luck made out of pipe cleaners.

Here is my definitely professionally rendered scene with the notorious rivaling horse (and okapi) villagers, Buck and Papi. They're celebrating Lunar New Year together as the snow melts and are friends again

Side Note: Drawing with a mouse is both tedious and uncomfortable.
