☾ Found some new official art of one of my comfort characters for his recent birthday earlier this month!! ;v;

☾ My parents and I watched another episode of Demon Slayer and Haikyu this morning!! I also really enjoyed seeing Grian’s new Hermitcraft video this evening; the prank he and Gem played on Scar was funny, and this episode was the first time I’ve seen the new firefly bushes in action!

☾ I ordered my mom's Mother's Day present today, and put some of my Easter money towards the next few volumes of the One Piece manga!! I've fallen a few behind but I'm looking forward to catching up again now that I have the space on my bookshelf for more c:

☾ I got to play ACNH hide and seek with some lovely TBTers on You Got Mail’s beautiful island!! I also loved the in-game unboxing stream lmao

☾ I spent the rest of my afternoon/evening making various Poké Ball rubber band bracelets while enjoying some of ImpulseSV’s recent R.E.P.O and Phasmophobia stream VODs!! I made a regular Poké Ball one once before and apparently a lot of my dad’s students wanted it, so I made another and also adapted the pattern to make Great, Ultra, Master, and Love Balls as well!

Today has been okay!

I had a lot of fun playing Among Us today. I didn’t get imp during classic mode, but I did get lots of snacks during one round of hide and seek at least .

I got my art thread up to date .

I worked some more on my oc a little last night and also the easter egg idea that I’ve been working on. I think I was able to get some more shading to the way I want it to be. It’s not perfect but as close as I can get it for now. Kinda hard when the picture I’m using for reference has some parts blocked off by another character in the picture. I’m still really happy with how it is coming along.

My mom made tacos tonight and it was so good and we have a lot left to have leftover too!

I caught my girls playing with each other about an hour ago; usually they play only during the morning and day. I love seeing them play .

I saw next collab for my game is bayonetta. I don’t like bayonetta (never tried it and never will; it just doesn’t appeal to me) so it makes me happy since it gives me time to save up crystals again. I just spent them again on part two’s anniversary unit and ur ark; didn’t get the ark yet but I got the unit.

That’s it for now! I’m hoping to work more on my drawings .

I spent two hours cutting grass in A Link Between Worlds so I could get rupees.

Made some more progress on my Tears of the Kingdom story. It’s basically a story about my playthrough of the game, using first person perspective and narrating it in present tense. Yesterday, I couldn’t stop typing. I was on a roll. It’s a hefty project tho. It’ll take a while to finish. I have a LOT to cover.

My partner has a week off school for spring break and we just went and voted in the Canadian election. They didn't have any I voted stickers though so I was like dang what was the point of voting (this is sarcasm)

I've an ADHD Workplace Coach I have a Zoom call with every other Monday morning at 8am. I'm running on only two hours of sleep but his input today was so so helpful.

He has given me advice on preparing for my work meeting tomorrow. He did some research for me regarding medication and even dictated an email to my doctor this morning (he's not happy with their answer, but hey that's not a today problem). He also decided to chime in on the issue of unequal housework in my household (I do 95%+ of it). My partner was off work on annual leave today, so he advised I send her a text asking if she'd mind helping with some quick to complete chores while also saying I hope she enjoys her day off. What do you know, she did more housework in one day than she has this entire month. I phrased it as a little help would be appreciated and if she could do even just some of the chores I wrote out that would really help me out, rather than you must do everything on this list, and she did all but one task (plus others I didn't ask for) and asked if we could do the last one on my list together when I got home (full clean of the cats litter box). That was fine by me! If you're wondering why I put up with the imbalance, my partner has autism and possibly ADHD as well, so this is 100% a neurodivergent household. But some easy and clearly defined tasks definitely seemed to help her be productive around the house. I may need to try this more frequently to get the support I need; working full-time, managing the household, and all of the animal care--we've a large aquarium with two axolotls in addition to the two cats--while also being physically disabled as well can be quite challenging.

His last piece of advice was to try find purpose at work. But I'm really so bored. My workload is so light right now and I've done all the busy work - e.g. deep cleaning, re-organising, prepping chemical solutions from stock, etc. When he asked me to talk through my mindset he thinks my decision is obvious on whether or not I should go for this new job if I get an offer. I'll need to wait to see what the salary looks like, the conditions of the bonus, and check in on a few other key things though. Working for local government certainly has its perks and giving those up is a big deal!

If you saw the What's Bothering You thread, I had a nightmare weekend with my big grocery shop not being delivered. I ended up going out and buying the food items myself, and rescheduling delivery of household items and heavy things (e.g. crates of fizzy juice) for this evening. Thankfully it actually arrived this time!

I've beef in the oven cooking, which smells amazing, and I'm going to let it cool then make beef stroganoff tomorrow. Now settled down on the couch with a glass of wine, my boys, and watching documentaries. I'm really into them lately.

☾ I cleared the woodland mansion I discovered in Minecraft last time! I found a Vex smithing template pretty much right away, which was the main thing I was after (currently at 4/18 armor trims collected!), and also got my first diamond chestplate of this world and a totem of undying out of this adventure too!

☾ My parents and I got to see GeminiTay’s new Hermitcraft episode this evening!

- Having a lovely little 2 days off! Went shopping this morning and bought a ton of new loungewear, pyjamas, and some hand cream. Was really needing to do this because my old home clothes were getting really bad haha. Also picked up some of the chocolate coated bourbon biscuits that I've been wanting to try

- The weather is beautiful

- Had some chickpea korma w/ rice and veggie samosa for dinner, I love Indian food Also been enjoying some fresh cream scone w/my coffee

- Going to a barbeque at my brother's house tomorrow, we bought some actual shrimp for it

- Had my first shift at my new job yesterday, and it all went okay Felt very tired afterwards though!

Early kinda happy, my dentist appointment had to be rescheduled because they had somehow made the appointment with the wrong dentist and my provider wouldn’t let them go through and have the dentist that was going to work on me anyways do the work that he was going to do today. Downside, I got stressed and woke up for nothing and have to go through this again unless my mom can take me next time

My mom is home! I just vented to her and I feel better.

I had my HR meeting today. Calling in a union rep was 100% the best decision I could have made. She did most of the talking for me and if it had been a boxing match my employer would have been destroyed. She saw issues with the way things were being handled that I hadn't even realised were problems! There was one point I was drinking water and she challenged something he said and I had to try so hard not to laugh/spit it out.

She also went straight from our meeting to question the head of the service about an email he sent about me last year that was leaked to people it shouldn't have been, exposing personal information about me. He came and apologised to me at the time, so I guess I considered it resolved. Turns out I should have taken further action.

It has been a stressful day but I'm happy with the outcome. They're sending me back to occupational health (so tired of them) and there will be another HR meeting early August (if I'm still here) but I'll worry about that then. I'm just so glad today is over. Also HR has assured me that we are nowhere near a competency hearing (the type of meeting you can get sacked at). PHEW.

Time to relax!

☾ I’m not Canadian, but I’m happy that Mark Carney won the election. I haven’t been following it much, but I did read a few things and it looks like a wise decision. Trump supporters seem to hate him, too, which is a good sign. Good job, Canada.
☾ My favorite show, Disventure Camp, was renewed for a fifth season.
☾ I’m hyped for Game 5 of the Kings/Oilers playoff series. This is a must-win, so I’m hoping the Kings can pull it off at home.
☾ I have a work shift on Saturday with two managers, and I get to collect all the tips that day since they aren’t allowed.

Today ended up being better than earlier and overall has been pretty good in spite not getting any sleep. My dad had work so it has been nice and quiet.

I got two trades done and made some tbt .

Off and on I’ve been drawing. I made some adjustments to the character I am working on. I honestly liked what I had before but I wasn’t sure about something regarding the references I was using.. So, I redrew it while saving that maybe to use somewhere else or in case I change my mind. I’m still figuring out how I want to design my character, but I’m still excited and motivated with this.

I’m making more progress on this easter egg idea. I’m really happy how it is turning out still; there is two spots I’m a bit iffy on and I still need to finish and adjust the color/shading of the feathers and add the second wing too and shade it, but overall I’m extremely happy with it. The shading has been the hardest and most challenging that I’ve done.

I saw a chipmunk on the porch today while Spanky was looking outside. I thought it was really cute .

At my other house, I never saw chipmunks because we had hawks in our backyard and area

☾ Found and used two more new smithing templates in Minecraft today (Eye and Rib)!! Also got some blaze rods and nether wart from the Nether fortress so I can make potions later—I’ll need to take on an ocean monument at some point for the Tide smithing template, so ideally I'd like to take some water breathing potions with me!

☾ I made a couple more rubber band bracelets!

☾ I started over reading Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan! another series I was reading in my teens and never actually finished it's been so long I have zero idea of where I was at eheh ;u; The next few volumes of One Piece I ordered arrived here today too, so I’m looking forward to getting to those as well!

Okay y'all... I got some major news!!! A few days ago during my break, we went to my cousin's house and I was introduced to a puppy my cousin wanted to give us. We declined at first because of the difficulties of raising a dog, but we ended up taking him in after another family who got him didn't want him anymore.

And so I introduce you to our new German shepherd, Rocky. I hope he can be a good and healthy dog under our care.

Not really a happy thing but I went to the dentist today and only needed a X-ray luckily. And I noticed the lady who checked my teeth had a Hello Kitty sticker on her name badge ^u^

And I also watched a few episodes of Pokémon Horizons season 2

Wasn't much to do at work, it actually flew by. It was also ny coworkers last day before hus travels (I gave him his gifts and card two days ago and he simply loved it all, I'm so glad.)

Went through some camera photos, and plan to go through the ones I put in my Google drive.

Played some dead by daylight which was amazing.
Last game, my main task was to cleanse a totem to get points, which was my main porioty, so I was expecting to get killed early on. Plus the killer was the triangle guy so not as fun.
But amazingly, with help from the other survivors, (who all sadly died) I got to find the hatch and leave! The killer was chasing me too, and I missed his crazy sword attack and didn't get hurt. Almost forgot what button was to go through the hatch but did it in the end!!

Plan to listen to some music before feeding my cats and doing my own dinner~☆
