some more stuff today, before i sleep!

• went to church with parents. it’s always nice having these solemn moments with them c: I used to dread going to church as a kid but now I enjoy each moment I spend with them no matter how small.
• my friend organized an online meet up for our group to meet her current significant other. it was genuinely a good time!! my friend dated some not-so-good people in the past so this time she wanted to do it right and had us meet the guy first before they got any serious. we were super protective of our friend after all that happened to her so ofc we were on our guard, but the guy she’s currently dating seems like a genuine and caring guy! he told us how much he loved our friend and how he would wait for her and take it slow if it meant being able to build their own careers first. that was really nice!! for the first time in so long im actually excited to meet the guy shes dating, and more than anything i want my friend to be happy as well. she seems like she enjoys being with the guy and im just . so so happy for her!! we’re planning a future double date with her and her SO + me and my bf, maybe mid-May, so that’s something to look forward to. and when our other friends come home from overseas we could have a quadruple date!! exciting!

today's my birthday!!

• slept really well last night
• got a red envelop from my parents, my sister and cousins got me some gifts, and i was even surprised with a cake
• my comfort & favourite food would be chinese fried noodles so that's what my mom made me hehe
• we'll be heading down to my cousins on my maternal side tomorrow and i'm excited to see them after some time
• oh oh and then on saturday my sister and i will be getting our second tattoo !!! i'm super stocked

Today was my birthday!!!

Watched the mario kart world direct this morning then after that, I treated myself (and max) to a double feature of the super mario bros movie and the wild robot! Had a great time especially with the latter, such a beautiful film

After that, I bought and listened to the soundtrack of Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse. (Third season of a series of point and click adventure games originally developed by telltale games) It never had an official release all these years until today! (Game first released in 2010) Very perfect timing if you ask me and of course I was very hyped!! There was a sneak peek listening party yesterday and I had tons of fun being hype with other fans! If there’s one track everyone has to listen too, it’s “That rainy neon glow” I’ll link it below!

Finally, I had a slice of carrot cake cause well, I’m a bun!

Thank you so much to everyone that sent birthday wishes to me, they’re all very sweet and have made an already amazing day even better and one to remember and shoutout to those that surprised me with extras, you know who you are and I'll keep everything in my heart I’m happy to be a part of such an amazing community and here’s to more fun, awesome and good times especially with the egg hunt commencing tomorrow!!!

☾ Got to see the new One Piece episode and an episode of Hunter x Hunter with my family this morning!!

☾ I got some boxes of Sour Patch Kids Extreme and Tough Luck Peepy for Easter, along with some spending money!! ;v; side note: I can make a sort-of rainbow with my Peepies now and I think that’s wonderful

☾ The kitties also got a new toy today, and Rat tired himself out playing with it! I’m happy it seems to be a success with them so far ;w;

☾ Once again thanks to friends I am FREE FROM EGGS!! I’m feeling pretty good about most of my puzzle answers too, and if I’ve got at least three correct I’ll be able to get my top three eggs from this basket!! eeeeeee

☾ I did a teensy bit of coloring!

- I slept well today and woke up feeling refreshed.
- Celebrated my sister's birthday at my aunt's place. Her actual birthday isn't until five days, though we celebrated it early since she was only available to visit us for a few days this week.
- Ate some velvet cake for the birthday that tasted yummy.
- Played AC: New Horizons and celebrated Bunny Day.

• I managed to pull myself out of dissociation and a panic attack today by focusing on cleaning my apartment which grounded me
• I slept pretty decently. Not as much as I would have liked but I needed to get up early for something so it’s okay. Just glad I slept instead of pulling an all nighter.
• I’m gonna be starting a new painting today!
• Got a carrot cake today
• Excited to get back to practicing violin today. Took the weekend off because it was a holiday weekend
• My cat Papi is currently burrowing underneath my coat on the floor and making me laugh
• Having a productive day so far!

I'm becoming much more invested in Dynasty Warriors: Origins since encountering my favourite character, Guo Jia.

Spoiler: Spoiler if you intend to play and don't know DW

This is some great foreshadowing. Guo Jia appears unwell in a cutscene, and he plays it off as a hangover - very fitting and believable for what we know of his character.

But, if you know the history of the Three Kingdoms period or have played a DW game before, you'd know he's sick. The real Guo Jia passed away from his illness in 207 AD and this event occurs in the DW games too. This cutscene occurs approx late 190s AD, so his death scene is a while off yet, so to pop this little interaction with him in so early is clever.

I got a lot done around the house today. I feel prepared to go back to work tomorrow, although I really don't want to!

My partner has come home in an exceptionally good mood and wants to spend time together. The plan is to watch Adolesence.

The fact that Amazon agreed to take back the game and give me a refund without any issues. I ordered a used copy of A Link Between Worlds from GameStop. It’ll be here around Wednesday.

It has been a wild week.

Though I'm happy for:

• Relatively low-stress day at work, which gave me time to catch up on some things from the previous week
• Had cheesecake for breakfast
• Took part in a patient encounter simulation today. It was a neat experience, and I'm happy I got to attend!
• Being able to go for a walk in relatively warm weather

I'm happy I got to visit with my grandma yesterday. Mom was awful but that's how it goes..
I'm happy I finally reached my personal egg currency goal. I was having serious doubts but I scrambled my brains

• I've accomplished the ultimate goal of obtaining a collectible with the entire Bee Movie script as a message on it. (Ty to my friend for sending me it! )

It been a crazy busy the last few days especially at work. Some happiness from the last few days :

Sunday was a great day off. Me and my mom went to sunrise service at church then they had a pancake breakfast. Took Aurora for a nice morning and evening walk.

Have had fun with this years egg hunt. I did so much better than last year and it was so much more fun. Thanks so much to everyone that helped me figured out the clues. Everyone gave such great hints in the thread. I still need to decide which eggs to get since they are all amazing.

We went to the sand art festival after church on Sunday. The theme this year was Dinosaurs and as always they did amazing. It is so fun seeing what people can make out of sand.

I was able to work on and finish some of the drawings I wanted to. Still have some more to work on but it’s been fun and relaxing drawing again.

Last night, I finally beat A Link to the Past. Then I started up the OG NES Legend of Zelda. I followed the guide on Zelda Dungeon word for word and completed the first dungeon. TBH tho… the graphics haven’t aged well.

I had an uneventful first day back at work. After the past couple of months of nonsense this was very welcome. I spent the day doing the annual chemical stock check. This involves evaluating chemicals and either issuing extensions on use by dates or marking those I couldn't pass for disposal. 90% boring database work but at least it was calm and there was no condescension or yelling.

I came home, took an hour-long bubble bath--had backache after being sat at a desk all day, it helped--and made spicy pulled pork tacos for dinner. One of my favourite meals right now.

Quiet evening ahead. A glass of wine, cat cuddles, and an early night.

Today and yesterday was a pretty good day aside from head feeling stuffy and a bit of a head ache.

I’m really happy that @Xara won the golden egg. So proud of her!

I am really happy we could work with others and get hints this egg hunt. I’m really grateful for everyone that helped me .

Also while I had fun with the Egg Hunt I’m kinda glad it is done because my head has been feeling kinda weird for the last few days (I thinj it might be because I’m on allegra for allergies and not allegra d now; allegra d seems to help me more),

I got all of the eggs that I wanted! A huge thank you to @-Apples- & @daisyflowers! Also @nightglow for the tbt too! Much appreciated all of you .

I have enough currency leftover to get one lucky cat . I’m not worried about getting extras since I got the main ones I wanted and I’m sure there will be more chances to get it . I’m really happy that I can get just the one.

Earlier (last night), Spanky was sleeping on my bed and she kept chattering her teeth when I talked to her ; I love her so much. She snuggled with me too when I woke up, She would’ve snuggled longer had Jewels not been locked out of my room crying (I kicked her out earlier since she kept whining when I was sleeping and wanting to knock my video games and figurines down ).

I made a new art thread yesterday; I’m happy because I’ve been meaning to do that for awhile. I got plans to make it look nicer down the road; got to save up tbt again though. I’m working on my next post right now.

- Bucky Barnes is finally going to be in Fortnite! April 30th!!! I was so happy when I got off work to check my notifications bc I had at least 5 people message me about it!

- The Thunderbolts movie comes out May 2nd. I plan on going to see it with my friend once it releases! I’m so so excited to see Bucky in it! This is going to be the best week ever lol

- I work a double today (one shift at my new job and another at my old job- today is my last day there though). Even though I’m not looking forward to it.. I’m excited for the money it is going to bring me xD

- Been playing some New Leaf on my 3DS XL. Elmer is moving out which is fine with me— but I need to get Zucker to move in in Elmer’s stead xD I’ve been bringing my 3DS everywhere I go hoping one day I’ll get a Streetpass HAHAHAH no luck yet tho!!!

- I finally got my antipsychotic refilled! I’ve been without it since Thursday night and despite being super emotional, I’ve been managing decently without it. I’m happy to have it back in my system tho LOL. I need that medication to keep myself stable.

- It’s a nice day outside today! The spring breeze is sooo refreshing c:

- I may be seeing @Azzy on Thursday if everything works out lol. I miss my sister so much WAHHH
