What Are You Happy About Today?

- Booked an important doctors appointment yesterday for next week. NOT looking forward to it but I'm glad I managed to get an available slot before work and i suppose it is important

- Happy it's Friday! Looking forward to going into town at lunch and buying my weekly treat (as it tradition) with the free £10 voucher i received

- Going grocery shopping after work

My moods been a bit down lately but happy to have had a two days off and a short day of work yesterday. Starting to feel better mood wise.

Tuesday was a really nice morning so spent it cleaning up the garden. We are going to get new plants we just going to wait until Tuesday after the storms. Got some errands done.

Wednesday spent more time relaxing and resting. I slow cooked ribs and made roasted potatoes and corn. I started a new puzzle and played some ACNH.,

Yesterday Thursday I had a very busy short shift in the morning. Was able to to get my car back since it is fixed. So thankful to my mom for letting me borrow her car. Spent time looking for a new villager on my main island and found Maple. Getting closer to completing one of the nook miles
I have left for my main island. Also found some new fish and bugs for my second island.

Luckily work wasn't so bad at the shop today; my boss did come in late, but it allowed me to get things done, as well as reading a book while lofi played.

I decided, after work, on my way back from work there's a bence on the street, and I decided to sit in the sun, and finish reading my book; it's a short story, a story about losing ones memory the older you get. Called 'And every morning the way home gets longer and longer' by Fredrik Backman.
I finished the book, was really good, and I recommend reading it. Almost teared up~

I'm home now, and I helped my mum put the shopping away, and washed up.

Sitting in my room, with my second oldest cat; Bell, as she watches bird videos on my phone. She's gotten a lot elderly. Trying not to think negatively about it, trying not to tear up. She still eats, drinks, uses the tray; just weighs less.
So I'll continue to give her so much love and cuddles.

- Completed a 6km hike up a hill with my friend - we did 9200 steps and 41 floors according to my health app Makes up for the unhealthy eating yesterday i think lol

- Washed my hair then had my fav paneer curry w/ samosas for dinner after i got back

I'm not generally a happy person. I get easily agitated and sometimes lose myself. I'm sure some of you here already knew this. Even so, I think even the most bitter people have at least one thing they're happy about.

Right now, I'm happy with how this weekend has turned out for me. I got to see one of my favorite bands perform live for (what is definitely the) final time, live on TV — Black Sabbath. What a beautiful send-off to the pioneers of Heavy Metal. I even had a cake somewhat decorated in honor of the band. I mean, who else can have the privilege of seeing one of the greatest bands of all time doing one last live performance on their own birthday?

By the way, thank you to @Seastar and @Nuguns for wishing me a happy birthday. It doesn't seem like much, but it's nice to see someone acknowledge the date of your birth, even if it's between people on the Internet that you don't know much.

Happy Birthday @Introspective Onlooker


Today I am happy I had the day off. Had a nice morning walk with Aurora. We didn’t get as much rain from the storm as thought we would. Spent the morning getting done errands done. Went to get done new plants for the garden. My neighbor had given us a gift card to replace the plants we lost when the guys he hired to redo his fence destroyed some of my plants.
I found some really nice plants . I got some purple Petunias to replace my other purple bushes. I was originally looking for a sunset hibiscus but found a Luna Hibiscus and a pink hibiscus instead . I also got a banana tree and few other small plants.

I welcomed Maple onto my main island Serenity. I am happy that I finished the Nook miles task for Nook miles for miles. Found some of the beetles I needed for my second island.

- Mayyy have bit the bullet and bought an (overpriced) Oasis ticket on resale. So we'll see how that goes... I figured it's a once in a lifetime sorta thing lol, I got really into them during my dissertation so I guess it's to celebrate me getting a First.

- There's meant to be a heat wave this weekend but thankfully it's not looking like it's gonna get too hot in my area

- Work was actually a bit stressful yesterday! I'm happy I managed to pack all the orders on time though, surprised I did it tbh. Hopefully today will be more chilled since it's a Tuesday...

- Been keeping up with my diet + exercise plan I walked 10,000+ on both Saturday and Sunday!! Mondays and Tuesdays are rest days for me though,, thankfully lol

I spent ten days by the sea with friends and had so much fun! We stayed in this huge house with a big garden area, billiards table, private jacuzzi and sauna all to ourselves! And it was crazy cheap. Walk to the sea was more or less 15 minutes but because of the weather we only had one beach day, which was still great. I'm really happy that this trip happened and even though it ended three days ago I'm still excited about it

And yesterday the girl at the grocery store said I have cool hair and it was really nice

I got to spend the day with my partner, we went to the beach and even managed to find vegan ice cream ( with a chocolate flavor at that! )

I also ordered the Pikachu Comfy Friends plush who I have wanted for awhile, I’m excited for him to arrive

• I slept really well
• My cats Papi and Mustachio are super sweet
• Been enjoying Pocket Camp still
• Got some sugar today so I can make peanut butter cookies
• Took a 30 min walk outside today and also did 15 min on the treadmill

- Had a rough day yesterday ngl, it got off to a really bad start, but some things cheered me up at the end:

- I enjoyed work like usual - spent a lot of time on my own doing photography yesterday

- Sports wins! Wimbledon was entertaining, and England won their game in the Women's Euros

- My brother came over unexpectedly last night and gave us some good news about his career! It was nice to catch up with him

Tomorrow is Friday Which means my Pikachu Teddy will come and also if it’s almost Friday then it’s almost the weekend and if it’s almost the weekend then it’s almost Monday, which will be when I am going to Build-A-Bear and then seeing the new Jurassic movie
