I’m glad you like it! It’s actually a reference to something. I’m not saying what it is, but I wonder if anyone will ever figure it out…

Yesterday I rewatched the two Futurama movies, Bender's Big Score and The Beast With a Billion Backs, and I remembered that you posted a lot of the quotes from both in the Out of context quotes thread a couple weeks ago. 😂 Futurama is amazing.
hey, would you be open to date swapping spring sakuras?

I believe mine shouldn't mess up your lineup ordering, if that's important here. though if it turns out I'm wrong, I'm willing to swap back as well
Isn't it weird how you're not with Yoshi's Islanders even though "Yoshi" is in your username? I think so, actually. Anyway, I hope you're doing what you can to support your team, despite your screen time limitations. I can't use my Switch a lot either, which is why I chose not to participate in the TBTWC.
Which of these tropes do you like best?
    • What Happened to the Mouse?
    • Aborted Arc
    • Noodle Incident
    • Something we Forgot
    • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment
    • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot

Mine is They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot, but that’s because I like the YMMV Tropes better.

Noodle Incident because it’s usually the funniest, but I also like BLAMs and They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot.
YKW? When I first saw you I thought you were a young adult, but as I read more of your posts I realized that not only are you in high school, you're also in the same grade as me! LOL! Anyway, thank you for the follow!
Remember that mean-spirited Simpsons episode Miracle on Evergreen Terrace, where the citizens of Springfield turned their backs on the Simpsons family and stole all of their belongings? I felt that karma bit the entire city back in the Simpsons Movie when Springfield got domed.

I haven’t watched that episode yet, but I did hear a lot of people talking about how it was one of the worst season 9 episodes. But that’s not the worst thing the citizens did, I think that would be in Boys of Bummer when they drove Bart to suicide.

I’ve also realized how the later Christmas episodes are usually divisive at best, especially compared to the pilot. At the very least, the pilot seems to be the best when compared to the other Christmas episodes of the show from the ‘90s.

I just read about Boys of Bummer. Since it came out prior to the movie, you can see why the Springfield citizens deserved to have a dome placed over them. Their horrible past treatment towards any member of the family made me think the dome was deserved, despite being a corrupt act done by the EPA.

Did you have something to do with this 🤨

I hope you have a great day too!

But maybe I did have something to do with this… maybe this site will be overtaken by Yos- oops. I think I said too much. Uh… forget what I said.
You know how TV shows and movies have bloopers, or errors in production, right? What do you think of the bloopers covered by the trope Artistic License? And yes, I consider them to be bloopers because they are factual errors about reality. Some examples of it are about some glaring inaccuracies that only those with specialized knowledge would know that something is wrong.

I think it’s a pretty interesting trope, especially because there’s a lot of different categories. It’s also interesting how the trope Shallow Parody is kind of an exaggerated version of the trope, just with people getting things wrong about the thing they’re parodying.

Here are some inaccuracies that I didn’t know, that shows, movies, and games used:
    • In Total Drama World Tour, there was a tiebreaker challenge on who can feed koalas eucalyptus leaves. In reality, koalas don’t eat eucalyptus leaves alone. They eat off of a stem.
    • In the South Park episode Doubling Down, Heidi eats real meat. In reality, if someone who’s on a vegetarian diet for so long, then eating meat would make them incredibly sick.

It’s also worth noting that both Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Pixar’s Turning Red are just as historically inaccurate as Disney’s Pocahontas for these glaring flaws:
    • At the beginning of Beauty and the Beast, the village is depicted as a happy village when in reality, a poor village like that would be miserable during the time the movie was set in.
    • In Turning Red, one of the characters sends text messages. Back then, texting wouldn’t be available for kids that age, and each text is very expensive to send.
