What Are You Happy About Today?

Earlier I got a bit overstimulated when talking to a friend, but overall today wasn’t bad. I wasn’t happy about going to see my psychiatrist earlier but the appointment was really quick, which I was really happy about.

Yesterday, my mom bought some grape leaves and I had some yesterday and today and they were delicious! I’ve also been enjoying my mom’s rhubarb pie; my mom makes the best pies and pie crust .

Both of my girls took a nap with me earlier and snuggled with each other which they haven’t been doing much of lately, so it made me really happy .

Got another unit I wanted in OPTC.

I am happy for no real reason. Just happy that I am alive, happy that I have family and a weirdo kitty. Happy that I have all of you.

Happy I am going to go to sleep with love on my mind.... I will probably wake up with pain in my arms and neck, and my brain, or elsewhere, but for now I love you all with a big ass bear hug.

I reached out to a friend from HS on FB who hadn’t posted in a long time, not expecting a response, and now we’ve been talking regularly and are planning on playing games together sometime

It's a bright and sunny saturday! I'm happy because I did a 10,000 step walk for 2 hours today with my mum, it was really nice to hike in our local area. It's what I love most about living in the countryside

Had delicious indian food afterwards, then some chocolate swiss roll with coffee

- Applied to THREE jobs, one being an apprentice; happy I was able to get that done.
- Did a lil bit more diamond painting till my mum got home from work.
- Plan to play my old pokemon games
- Gonna watch The Hallow with my mum for dinner; I told her about it, and was interested, so that's fun!

Went to the office on Friday and caught up with the goss! My boss was back from her vacation so she took me out for a belated birthday lunch. My friend was also back from being out last week and she was able to join us along with another friend! We had a great time.

- Got all the things I planned to do done this weekend! I went for a hike, finished up my travel journal entry, and inquired about booking driving lessons
- Just been chilling out and watching YouTube this morning
- Hopefully work won't be too understaffed today like last week
- Enjoyed watching Glastonbury last night
- Had overnight oats for breakfast and then some fresh cream chocolate swiss roll w/ coffee to treat myself before a tough shift

• The med adjustments my psychiatrist made to help with my bipolar disorder manic episode have helped a lot and I finally feel stable after a long chaotic manic episode.
• I got some nice teal blackout curtains for my living room so the sun is not glaring into my living room anymore. I much prefer it this way, it stays less bright and a lot cooler.
• Also got some yarn and have been learning how to crochet!
• Had a good volunteer shift on Saturday with the rescue kitties and my volunteer coordinator texted me later that night to tell me the director popped in a couple hours after my shift and said everything looked great and really clean and that I did a good job. So it felt nice to be recognized
• Been getting a lot of reading done. My focus has improved a ton.
• Been enjoying Pocket Camp still! Love this game, I’m so glad I got into it. I’m like 7 years late to it but I prefer it because it has no microtransactions now
• Got an idea I want to try out painting later today
• I have to get some bloodwork done later in the morning (it’s 2:30am now, bloodwork is at 11:20am) I bought a brownie for myself to have as a treat afterward since I had to fast from last night till after I get my bloodwork done and I know I’ll be hungry cause it won’t be done till almost 11:30am, or later depending how busy they are today.
• I got some chocolate peanut butter ice cream for later too
