What Are You Happy About Today?

  • I had a good therapy appointment today, we talked about how I've been since my psychiatrist increased my meds for the manic symptoms and I'm doing a lot better and things have calmed down a lot
  • Slept good
  • Mocha was so happy to get treats last night, he was purring like crazy ❤️ Mustachio was happy too but Mocha was ecstatic lol He really loves treats
  • The week is almost over, I get to spend time with my boyfriend on Sunday as he has the day off work

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! The team camaraderie is AMAZING with this group. I'm SO excited we get another crack at winning a championship. The last time the Mavs won the NBA Finals I was only 14 years old, so it's been awhile. I remember being at one of the Mavs playoff games against the Thunder and someone holding a sign saying "THUNDER IS JUST NOISE!" and it worked, cause the Mavs ended up winning that series.

This Boston team is tough, but we're going to give them a heck of a fight. Let's go MAVS!

 
☾ I finished my last TBTWC cheers and baked a Kirby cake!! It’s good but v sweet so I genuinely wish I could share it with TBTers LOL

☾ Had fun spectating streams today and got to be a last-minute participant in a round of ACNH Hide and Seek!! Also had an absolute blast playing Among Us this evening (though I am. still lil bit shakey lmao) and am over halfway through completing the Polus Cosmicube!! so now I have a cute lava worm thing that I can also have as a pet

☾ I’m excited for Rune Factory: Project Dragon!! even if we don’t have a ton of new news on it ahaha, but I like the protagonist designs and the more mature look they have! ;v;

☾ I worked on some personal art for a little while!!
 
  • I colored in my original character and I'm happy with how it turned out and am excited to see how my art of her progresses over the next couple years as I get more experience drawing
  • Slept really well
  • Spent some time this morning reading and it was nice :)
  • I organized my apartment and it looks better now
  • My boyfriend has the day off today so we should be able to spend some time together today
  • I'm having a nice relaxing day today and just kinda doing whatever I want. I'm gonna spend some time drawing later :) Not sure what yet. Maybe some Pokemon or anime characters. I might try drawing the love hashira from Demon Slayer. I have drawn her before but not in color. This time I am gonna color it because she's got really colorful hair and eyes and I think it'd be fun to do and good practice using colored pencils
  • I might also do some basic stuff with like anatomy practice for drawing anime characters, so like figure drawing, proportions etc I need to get better at that. And maybe learn some colored pencil techniques.
  • Idk if anyone else here colors like in coloring books, but I love coloring, I have an adult coloring book for mindfulness and it's so good at relieving stress, it's very calming. I colored in it for like an hour last night and it really helped calm me down and helped my mood too
  • I feel like I'm starting to understand how to play chess, I've been learning all the pieces and different strategies and how each piece moves and I am excited to play a game against my boyfriend on Sunday
  • I also feel like I'm starting to get the hang of understanding how to play the yugioh TCG better. Reading the card effects thoroughly and understanding how they work and learning to make use of all the effects, especially banishing and graveyard effects. That's something I struggled with for awhile.
  • I love TCG games and tabletop games, strategy games, etc. They're so much fun and I feel like they make me really use my brain and I feel so accomplished when I do good at them. I know that may sound silly :LOL:
  • I'm enjoying some coffee right now and am gonna probably draw soon!
 
My day is just starting but so far I’m happy about:

I found the welcome amiibos on amazon and was able to order a few packs; I’m not happy with how much more expensive they are but I still ordered them anyways 😅 since I’d like to finish my amiibo collection. I’m really hoping for Hornsby, Spike, Julia and Sylvana in particular. Hopefully I can trade for the rest I need and the npc cards from series 5 🤞; also hoping I have no issues with this order. I replied to the email from Play-Asia and asked for a refund for the amiibo cards; still annoyed they listed them in stock and then found out weeks after I ordered them they don’t have them anymore. I’m hoping they ship my nendoroid and controller soon 🤞; I’m worried that is going to fall through too.

I’m so happy I found some shinies yesterday. I’m hoping I can find even more today once I get my next set of cheers done! 🤞 Would love some more target shinies especially. I’m out of ideas on my visual 😅.

I had a nice chat with some friends last night 🙂. A friend is also helping me get some pokemon that aren’t in Violet that I want & shiny versions of them too 🙂 (i just hope she is getting some sleep and not rushing & pushing herself; it didn’t matter when I got them 🙂). Excited about another friend picking up a copy of Violet too! :D (I worry that I pressured her to get it; I’m probably fine but still can’t help worrying a little, darn anxiety 😅).

I woke up late but my mood is really good (it helps that I took my medicine earlier). 🙂

Got a splatoon session soon! I’m excited about that! Everyone is always so kind even though I’m not really good. So glad I don’t have to worry about my comments getting a ❓here and I can be more myself. 🙂

☾ LuxuryDark posted a new video!!! My mom and I love their videos, we always get really excited whenever they post ahaha ;v; Also watched some other shorter videos and SmallishBeans’ new Hermitcraft episode with my parents this afternoon!

* Tomorrow, I will be going to my paternal grandparent's house for a multi-in-1 celebration: My birthday (which is on June 9th), my dad's birthday (June 11th), my brother graduating from college (though he will be going for two more years to receive his Master's), Mother's Day, and I think also Father's Day. This way, we can celebrate everything in one visit, which saves time and gives my dad more time to himself. I was even told today that my grandma is doing french fries. ^_^
It will be nice to swim and get some sun. :,3

Also, my dad will be talking about some stuff with my Nana (as I call my paternal grandma) such as the detail's for an upcoming vacation in July (which I am skeptical of, but it will be nice to know some details), and my brother's probable internship at our dad's workplace. I think my brother just wants to be a streamer, but this is something he should just do on the side for now until he has his own place and has a good amount of money saved up. Besides, it seems silly to get a Master's Degree only to become a gamer/streamer. But I digress. I hope this internship can help him with experience, since that is also recommended for getting a good job.

Happy today because I finished my gym workouts for the week, finished work for the week, and pretty much finished my participation in the TBTWC aside from possibly one thing. I also gave my favorite kitty the entire can of the food she loves so much, and I'm glad I get to sleep in tomorrow. The rain and thunderstorms are also gone. Hoping everyone had a good day. 💚
 
Early post before I go try to get some sleep 😅; I kinda want to go back to shiny hunting instead but I probably should sleep since I have a game session sometime in the evening and I’m backup for another game.

I got enough gems in my One Piece Game and I got one of the units that I wanted. The part I pulled on, it had lower rates than on the specific part it was rated up in.

It kinda makes me want to write a fanfic again. I can’t help but wonder how One Piece would go if Luffy had been in the Marines instead 😂. The special is pretty funny too; here (just the first 22 seconds of the video).

I’m happy that I got enough eggs to submit it to the salmon run event thread; thanks so much again for your patience 😭🙏 @Vhoop @Aquilla @Mokuren & @Chibi.Hoshi. It was much more fun doing it with friends! ☺️ Been having a nice chat with them all.

Last night I was starting to get depressed again since I started thinking about my best friend, but I eventually was able to distract myself and felt better 🙂. It helps having the event to think about, my friends here, and the fun we’ll still be having even after the tbtwc is over.
