Okay, so, this was supposed to look like a snowflake. And also I don't have frosting or sprinkles, but I do have peanut butter and jelly and powdered sugar. And I have pretty much zero experience decorating cookies. So, I did my best with what I had. I hope it's enough to count. ^o^;>

I just made my yearly Christmas cookies and was ready to submit, but I somehow did not realize the "flat" part. They are a bit round, but with Christmas decorations on them. Well, more cookies for me. Perhaps I can quickly made a regular cookie something later in the week.

i decorated a parmesan cookie (cracker? sable? "bite"?) with some savory toppings, hope that's ok!

(it's supposed to be santa claus...)

sriracha hat, kewpie mayonnaise beard, and pecorino romano cheese fluffy parts! i dotted the eyes with some sweet bean sauce (the stuff you eat with peking duck!)

overall tasted amazing going into my mouth, so if this doesn't count that's ok.

I made my dogs a pile of honey snowmen cookies. (the price of energy in the UK had to make it worth while putting the oven on lol)
Edible by Humans also, but inadvisable with my baking skills.

Everyone's cookies are looking great! 🍪

cookie as in strictly the singular?
You can make multiple cookies if you'd like!

Can we use biscuits like Oreo’s or does it have to be a cookie
I am OK with a cookie like an Oreo as long as you decorate the entire cookie yourself. i.e., you can use the Oreo as a base, but you can't crack open the Oreo and try to pass off the icing as your own decoration.

if i cant find icing, could i use sugar or powdered sugar as a base?
You can use any edible decoration you'd like as long as a reasonable amount of effort is put into your submission.

🎄 Caramel Snowflake Cookie 🎄

This is my third attempted :( Its meant to be a caramel snowflake cookie with sugar outlining the shape which you can kind of see.
This shape was the inspiration.

A very large gingerbread cookie depicting what I hoped to be a gingerbread house front:

This was my first attempt making gingerbread from scratch. It’s very sticky and cracked a lot.
The snowman arms are parsley stems and the carrot nose is actual carrot. Everything else is candy on top of the cookie. 🥹🥲 so tired.

Here’s my entry! We made cut-out sugar cookies and these are two of my favorites! I used egg white to make sure everything “stuck,” red and green sugar dust, a chocolate chip, various sprinkles, and mini marshmallows. (fun fact, every bit of the decorations were on before these went in the oven, as part of the tradition.) I hope this works since they’re two separate cookies!
