The Bell Tree Fair 2014: Closing Ceremony

A man in red named Jer
Came to the fair, clothes clean like his hair
The people ran in fright
At the unholy sight
For all they could see was a bear

Another one, Justin the young
Arrived as soon as he was rung
The crowd burst with joy
With this joyous new boy
And from the ceiling they swung

The enforcer stepped back and sat
And cracked the knees of the brat
The tormented cried
There's nowhere to hide
From Kaiaa and her nail-studded bat

Tina from Scotland had bucks
She used to buy seven trucks
She drove and she drove
But crashed in a grove
And cried, "The roads! This country sucks!"

Cotton candy, rides galore,
Excited children shout for more.
Ice cream cones and popcorn cart,
Hard to know quite where to start.

Inside the tents, wondrous sights,
Outsides lit up with flashing lights.
Ferris wheel keeps spinning round,
While queues are forming on the ground.

Candied apples selling well,
The best sweet delight, who can tell?
Rides to scream for can be found
But some just like to wander round.

The carousel with horses wild
Will bring forth the inner child.
Then, if you're feeling really bold
Have tomorrow's fortune told.

When at last your day is done,
You've had your money's worth of fun
All excitement at an end,
With lagging footsteps home we wend.
The time has sped by far too fast
Why can't the hours of pleasure last?

It's time to play!

Everyone's having fun today!

Rover's off the train,
Counting candy in a jar;
While Kapp'n has fun singing along
To K.K Slider playing his guitar!

A day off for Digby and Isabelle,
Who are going on the rides;
Tilting spinners and roller-coasters,
Bouncy castles and inflatable slides!

Of course there's a Ferris Wheel,
You can see it a mile away;
Well on it are Reese and Cyrus,
Who are out to enjoy the day.

If anyone needs to recharge,
Brewster has them set;
Blue Mountain, Kilimanjaro, Mocha, or Blend...
Which one will they get?

Hey you over there,
Yes, yes...you, I said!
Try your luck with these fortune cookies,
Being sold by good ole Redd!

Tom Nook is too smart for that,
He'll be saving his bells, thanks much;
Though Timmy and Tommy might take a peek
So long as it's all done hushidy-hush.

Want to decorate a bonsai?
Leif is running a booth!
Right next to the cotton candy stand,
For those who have a sweet tooth!

Look, to that side!
Gracie's put on a fashion show!
Where folks can make their own shirts,
Whether or not they know how to sew!

There's no post today,
So Pelly, Phyllis, and Pete
Are free to roam about
For some fun which can't be beat!

Katrina's selling fortunes,
Sahara, wallpaper once again;
While Gulliver enjoys where he is now,
Even if he can't remember where he's been.

Pascal is out of the water,
Having funnel cake with Katie;
While Dr. Shrunk is on stage now,
Doing puns and cringe comedy.

Don and Mr. Resetti came up,
And thankfully covered up their hole;
Though they're staying far away,
From the booth with the game "Whack-a-Mole".

Tortimer came from his island,
And Phineas from his job;
Laughing in the fun house,
While eating popcorn and corn on the cob.

There's still plenty to do!
There's still plenty to see!
More folks are arriving,
And everyone feels free!

It's a fair, a carnival!
It's a time of joy and fun;
And everyone is going to savor it,
For as long as it will run!
