What Are You Happy About Today?

☾ I’ve been feeling steadily better over the past couple of days!! ;v; My throat's all good now, though I'm still kinda sore otherwise. But also my eyesight was better yesterday, and I wasn’t needing to take off my glasses to see things up-close nearly as much, and it seems like it’s totally back to normal again today!

☾ I played through the re-run of the Power of Dance event in Pokémon Masters Ex since I missed it the first time it came around!! ;v; I’d lowkey forgotten how to actually play since all I’ve been doing for ages is the daily login LOL, but I had fun! Didn’t want to miss it again since it features Adaman so heavily. (⺣´◡`⺣)

☾ And I got to play Among Us tonight!! I definitely had the imp curse this time ehehe, but it was really nice getting to play for the first time in a little while ;w; I really enjoyed this evening’s session and I’m glad I was feeling up to it!
 
- I ate some samosas at an Indian restaurant that tasted great. Also ate some yummy butterscotch cake for dinner.
- Watched a movie at the cinema with my mom and sister.
- Went shopping and bought myself a jacket.
- Completed a sketch in colored pencil using a tutorial.

Today was overall a decent day 🙂 (sorry for double post and posting in wrong thread 😅).

I had so much fun playing Among Us; I got some more snacks though not as much as I wanted 😼😸 lol.

My mom let me order some new plushies for my birthday present; I had ordered some other stuff but some would be coming maybe as late as september so she wanted something I could have now.

I was going to get only one or two but my mom let me get more to be eligible for free shipping. There is a 20% free coupon on Squishables right now for memorial day weekend too so I got some money off! 🥳 I’ve been wanting a Bastet squishable ever since @Nefarious told me they had an Anubis and Bastet (both were retired); since then they had released new versions of them both. I also wanted the Sakura dragon for a long time; I don’t like pink normally, but this dragon is so cute, I love it pink and all ☺️. The Kiwi is a new plushie that I immediately wanted when I saw it recently 🙂; it is a toxic Kiwi @BetsySundrop 👁️👁️.

I had a nice chat with @.: Meri :. about One Piece! Also had a nice chat with @BetsySundrop ☺️.

Tomorrow I might buy a subscription to Crunchyroll 🙂; I already talked to my mom about it. One Piece binge here I come 🥳. I still need to finish AOT; that one is horrible on my nerves (also I’m still not over something from season 3 😭).

☾ My parents and I finished the fourth season of Demon Slayer!! We’re all caught up now and I cannot wait for the movie to release here in September 😭 I… am not normally much of a theater person but I might have to make an exception for this one, idk if I can handle waiting for it to come to streaming LOL. We saw another episode of Hunter x Hunter too!

☾ I played through some of the main story in Pokémon Masters EX!! I’d barely progressed in it at all (I think I'd only completed Chapter 2 or 3?), but I needed some cheering up today and Adaman and Colress definitely helped ;w;

☾ Also had fun playing Among Us this evening!! I think I’ve mostly(?) broken free of my impostor curse now, and I got some good laughs out of the games tonight!
 
Today, I explored some ruins in Hyrule Field and found a lot of treasure chests. I explored an outpost ruins and Mabe Village ruins. Some Guardians were in the area, but I defeated them. (Well, not without getting blasted with their laser beams more times than I can count.) XD

I got a few more Korok seeds as well. I love those funky little leaf dudes. <3

I also finally found every memory in the 'Captured Memories' quest. The last one was the one in the woods during the Calamity. Seeing Link hug Zelda melted my heart. I felt so bad for Zelda. She tried so hard, but in the end, she felt like it didn't even matter. Her father was also way too harsh on her. Seeing her break down and cry made ME want to cry. Anyway, I'm gonna go report to Impa so I can get the 13th and final memory.

Me and my mum went to the vintage clothing sale, we were suppose to go a few months ago nut was cancelled then. My mum was able to find a few things she liked which I was more happy about.

We had Wendy's for lunch, not as best as when we had it in Mexico.
I finally got to try my fav drink from wagamama called a cherry blossom lemonade with dried petals on the top~☆

Bought a cheap switch game called Loop8

Once home, I finally bred an adamant scyther on my pokemon pearl! Now I can continue my journey!

I looked at my really old laptop again, I keep my old laptops cause there's stuff on there I need, and was just seeing what things I can delete to make it easier to move things over

Making more info and designs for my animal crossing theme.
 
I've been getting in lots of Fantasy Life i this weekend. I'm really enjoying the game. Turning off the character voices was a massive improvement, would recommend if Kunugi constantly repeating the same line annoys you too. 🎮

Took my boys to the vet for a health check-up yesterday. They were so well-behaved! She adored Delta and gave Sebastian so many cuddles. She even asked to take photos for her social media and told them they were such great models.

I thought a six month post-vaccine check-up was a bit pointless, but I'm really glad we went. The vet nurse said she'd give Delta a body condition score of 5.5/9, meaning he's carrying a little extra fat on him but not categorised as overweight yet. She didn't advise weight loss but emphasised not gaining more was important. Meanwhile Seb is a larger breed, so even though he actually weighs the same his body condition is ideal - he often cries for extra food at night. I asked if switching to an adult food early was a good idea, but she advised they stay on kitten food because Seb still needs it.

So of course I come home and start wondering how to address feeding two cats whose needs may be changing. Then today I found the issue. Delta is eating Seb's food. Delta finished his in the time it took Seb to eat half and booted him out the bowl, and Seb being the sweetheart that he is he just lets him. 🤦‍♂️ Upside, supervised meal times are easier to enforce than different diets. So I'm going to see how this goes and make alterations if Delta's weight still goes up. The vet nurse said she felt mean telling me about Delta's weight, as a lot of pet owners don't want to hear it. I immediately thanked her for saying something because if there is concern about his weight it's easier to correct it now than later.

So long story short: the check-up was worth it for that information alone. I'm glad I didn't ignore the email saying they were due a check-up, as otherwise he wouldn't have been seen until their annual vaccine in November. Given he is only 9 months old now, 6 months could make a big difference.

She also booked their vaccine appointment for me, so I don't need to worry about making that six months from now.

I've been struggling with appetite this week, so when I craved pizza last night I just gave into the urge. Absolutely delicious. 🍕

Been productive today. On laundry load 3/4, dealt with the dishes piling up, got out for a walk. My partner's out today and has an online meeting this evening she'll be taking upstairs, so I'm enjoying having the living room to myself to play games and be lazy.

Also, I can't leave the couch. I've been captured by cats. 🐈

We went to a local convention today and got to see Danny Trejo. Even though I only bought autograph, he generously told me to get my phone to take a photo with him for free. 🥹

I also got a bulbasaur and a gengar carved crystal figures. They're so cute.
 
Small things that I’m happy about; I should have some more later 🙂:

I was able to maintain my treasure map rank in OPTC to the end of the event and it was one of the few times I got it to be in the top 200 (or higher) for any of the three map difficulties and I didn’t need to gem at all. Probably wouldn’t have been possible if so many people hadn’t quit over the years, considering also there was a server merge with Japan. With that being said, I don’t think I’ll be staying up as late as I did to keep my rank in a game again anytime soon; I’m tired 😅. I dozed a bit in the last few hours of the event setting my alarm for two times since there is an expedition feature that let’s you earn points like while you’re sleeping or doing something else (not a lot but it still helps a bit). Had my alarm set so I could end the expedition early to get the points (you don’t get the points if the event ends before the expedition does) and played for the last half hour.

I got plenty of snuggles from Jewels earlier under the blankets 🥰.

I had a nice talk with someone last night.

I got a few more happy birthdays 🙂. Heard back again from one of my discord friends 🙂. We haven’t been talking much lately since they’re busy, so it was nice hearing from them again ☺️.

That’s it for now. Still got to see about getting that crunchyroll sub later 👀 (going to wait until my dad goes to bed since we can’t discuss anything around my dad without him getting anxious and rude 😅); I’m hoping to start watching One Piece again soon.

I’m hoping we have more for tonight’s session to do classic in Among Us 🤞. I need another chance to get some snacks; I failed again to get @BetsySundrop & Birdie 😅. The game just doesn’t want me to be imp lol.

☆ The weather has been really nice in my area recently! My morning runs have been enjoyable!
☆ Bought a ton of my favorite fresh fruit at the store today!
☆ When I played Project DIVA earlier and have been practicing — got a few more perfects on songs!
