☾ Caught up a little on some more R.E.P.O VODs today! c:

☾ I needed something distracting and relaxing to do to kill some time this evening, so I made a Peaceful Minecraft world just to find and hatch a Sniffer, then plant one of the seeds it dug up for the achievement. The plan was a success, and I got to enjoy some chill mining and fishing too! I love Sniffers (❁´◡`❁)
 
I had my on boarding process for my new job and, while a bit overwhelming, its exciting!

I also gave my 2 weeks notice at my current job and, contrary to my belief, my boss was happy! I was so worried he'd be mad, but he was proud of me and said he'll be here for whatever I need in the future.
 
I was able to mail some packages today, I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to get that done today. I can't wait until they arrive to the people I sent them to.

I also got to spend some time with a friend today, we had some lunch and walked around the mall area. I got some cute merchandise for myself and my mom and got some sweet treats before I went home.
 
I had a fantastic day at work today. Lots of good interactions with both teachers and pupils. One class was especially enthusiastic. I'm really starting to enjoy my job again after a few bad months. 🖤

Took my break with our IT tech, we polished off the last of the cake I brought in yesterday and had a really great chat. When I first met him I didn't think we'd get along, especially as he had a bad habit of misgendering me in the beginning, but overtime he's become one of my favourite people at work and has been one of my biggest supporters during the past few months. 🍰

The replacement for my friend who retired started this week and I'm so happy with who got the job. We met on a night out about a year ago, great banter, even shared half his pizza with me. We got the chance to chat in small bursts throughout today and he showed me some really cool physics equipment I've not seen before. I'm so glad he's working at this site now (and he has a decade more experience in the service than me so someone I can definitely learn from!). :D

me & mum went to tesco after going to the job centre & southend on sea... & i just happened to come across a pikachu drink bottle & a multi coloured pikachu pen on a 'claires' stand 💕 🩷 & put them into the basket 🤗

Last night I got a new unit unit in OPTC; not the one I wanted initially. I thought I had the base unit to super evolve since this is the super evolution but the unit ended up being a different one.

Zoro is my favorite Straw hat and one of my favorite characters :D. I love it has some of my favorite scenes (particularly Mihawk since he’s one of my too favorite); it doesn’t have the fight scene with Pica though; I thought that one was really good too. He has a unit that shows part of the scene in it, so I guess it makes sense. I haven’t seen the fight against King yet though; already was spoiled a little from another unit 😅.
It’s ink pen effect is pretty nice too; normally they either hurt my eyes or are pretty boring, but I think this one is pretty good.

This unit is going to be giving a 100% drop boost in the upcoming treasure map too. I love the treasure map mode but it has been turning me off since they no longer give us a unit but a skull for the unit we get from Pirate King Adventures. I’ve been enjoying playing the game again, so I think I’ll definitely participate in it. I also got another 100% point booster last week; I was trying to get two other units (even though I know how dumb it is to try for units not rated up; they aren’t often on banners though which is why I have been trying every chance I see they are in the pool).

Can’t say I’m too impressed with this art and the unit’s special and captain ability goes a bit over my head (the text and mechanics have been getting longer and longer and more complicated over the years, I think) 😅. I’m still happy I got him though; I really wanted a specific Law unit that I don’t have and Yamato/Ace duel unit more tbh even if they might be outdated (not sure if they are since some units still seem really good that were too units years ago).

I also got a Garp unit that I wanted too— both his unevolved and evolved form.

I also got some units that I didn’t have from the co op sugo fest too; I should be getting them later today or in a few days I think 🙂. I had a lot of fun with the coop; been farming it crazy so I can do more pulls on the coop sugofest banner (even tthough I had most of the sugo fest units since they are on in every banner). I got my friend’s list filled up to point where I have only 50 slots left now I think. When I came back, I had about a 100 slots empty.

Survived physiotherapy. Hurting for it, but managed. 💪

Had a late start at work today and came in to find things more eventful than I expected. The result is I now have a lot to do tomorrow, but the pupils have the day off so at least I won't be bored without work to prepare for them. I'm very interested in seeing if I can pull together a practical a teacher wants to do next week that we can't find a guide for. It's always fun trying to write a new protocol because it means I actually get to do the experiments! 🧪

I've the house to myself this evening and I'm making the most of it. Took a long bath, made a delicious dinner, now I think it is time for some gaming. Delta's recently developed a habit of sitting on my lap while I play games and it is adorable until he decides the controller makes a nice pillow. 🎮 🐈

  • I’m going to be starting to teach a painting class once a month in my apartment buildings community room! Super hyped and excited about this!
  • I feel pretty good moodwise :)
  • Been sleeping great consistently
  • Enjoyed a nice coffee today
  • Managed to read for a couple hours today. Focus was much better today
  • I’m gonna need to eventually get a laptop or Chromebook so I can post my artwork on here again. My old laptop is really hard to use. It’s so old and slow. So I’m hoping to get a Chromebook soon so I can start posting artwork again regularly :)
 
Mood wise, today hasn’t been the best but there are plenty of things I’m happy about 🙂.

Last night I got a unit in OPTC that I didn’t have from a free ticket; it is a pretty recent unit too.


My dad gave me an Amazon gift card for my birthday; my mom still is waiting for me to pick out something for my present from her.

My mom made pie crust for me today.

Tomorrow my sister is coming over to celebrate my birthday and we’re having take out and my mom is baking an apple pie too.

So many people here and several on a VA’s discord server said happy birthday to me today 🙂.

@azurill drew me an adorable picture of my kitties and @BetsySundrop put together something really cool with my Among Us character and pets :D. I got to see a picture of @Xara’s adorable kitty too ☺️.

@-Blue- sent me some tbt even though it wasn’t necessary either 🫶.

I’ve been enjoying playing the treasure map in OPTC, more than usual since I got more point boosters than I normally do.

•I am happy that I managed to get a few things done today despite my shaky arms and hands.
•I am glad it was warmer today than yesterday. It was still chilly(to me), but more bearable.
•We only got showers today and nothing serious.
•Low pain day. (Weakness was a tad strong today though)
•I am happy sitting here in the quiet right now since it is night.
