The beginning of the week was a little stressful but still plenty of happiness this week.

On Tuesday me and mom visited one of her friends that were visiting from out of state. We went out to lunch and spent some time on the beach.

We got some much needed rain on Wednesday.

Had a nice early short productive shift at work. I finished the DLC In Pokemon Violet. I only need two more Pokemon in Violet to finish blueberry Dex.

It’s been fun playing pocket camp and loving the garden items and fortune cookie items. Redecorated the cabin and camper.

Booked our vacation for April and so excited to be going.

Tonight, the Dallas Stars take on the Calgary Flames, going for their 4th win in a row. Hope everyone has an amazing Thursday!

They pulled it off! Jason Robertson, my favorite current player for them, scored the game-winner in overtime!

- It's Friday!! This week feels like it's gone quick

- My friend and I are meeting for lunch tomorrow He also agreed to give me a lift to the airport for my trip in about a week which is super kind of him (I need to leave at like 3am so I really appreciate it)

- Spring is here, I can see it! The temperature hit 15 degrees Celsius yesterday, it was sunny, and you can see flowers starting to bloom

-I just got back from Pittsburgh. It's a shame losing my grandma, but I am happy to both see my relatives and spend time with my family, so I am thankful for her for bringing us together. She's at peace with my Grandpa now.
-My Uncle also booked a buffet for everyone afterwards which was nice.
-The car ride was tiring but also nice because I don't get to spend a lot of time with two of my brothers who moved out.
-My dad seemed already during the trip and the memorial emotionally. He also seems to be doing a lot better physically. Glad to see him making a recovery since being out of work!
-Played a bunch of Ho for the go fest as much as I could during the trip with my brother. I got a couple of shiny Kyurem thus far~
-I got 2nd place in the smash tourney! :]

Today sucked. Thank God it's over.

It's Friday! I don't need to worry about work until Monday!

I'm officially in a union now and been talking to a union rep (who is in the same service I work for) who is concerned about my mental well-being if things continue as they are and insists action needs to be taken. Will need to think over her advice as it's very last resort to me and I don't think I'm there yet. But it's good to know there are options to protect me and that there are people who are able to support me. Less scary than going through it alone.

I had a comfort lunch of McDonalds, and picked up salmon for dinner to have with steamed spinach and a poached egg.

I found out today that half the money I'm waiting on being repaid was authorised today. I'll be glad to see that in my account next week! "10 working day turnaround", heh, try 25!

Have a double date tomorrow with two of my favourite guys in the world. We are going to an aquarium.

• Some stressful stuff that was going on was resolved! Yay for stress relief
• I slept really good last night
• I’m thoroughly enjoying re-watching my favorite comfort anime Fruits Basket
• I got some spicy Buldak ramen I’m excited to try!
• I did a painting of a aurora borealis earlier today and am pretty happy with how it came out considering I only spent like 15 min on it, I’ll post a pic in my art thread in a minute

Despite feeling physically tired earlier and just generally drained, I've had a pretty good day. Was productive at work and made a lot of my colleagues laugh really hard after I logged on. Then I played some Wuthering Waves and HSR and managed to pull Brant and e1 Tribbie with the currency I had saved up. I also loved on my kitty for a bit, which she appreciated. About to give her her wet food. Lastly, I think the thing I'm most happy about today is receiving a new gel mattress for my bed. We were about to throw it out, but decided to place it in my room instead since my previous mattress wasn't that comfy in comparison. I'm looking forward to sleeping really well tonight. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I had fun playing Among Us today; was happy that my connection lasted until the very end. I can get space cat soon; just need 400 more of that cosmicube’s currency . The session definitely helped me feel better. I’ve been feeling stressed and anxious about a couple things. I’m glad that my friend @KittenNoir was able to make it tonight too .

Spanky wanted to snuggle with me under the blankets when Jewels was snuggling with me earlier. She left when she saw Jewels was in the spot she wanted but she came back and snuggled; also snuggled more later .

One of the items available in Pocket Camp tonight is one that I’ve been waiting for (no ideas on how to use it yet though. I’ve been wanting these shelf of potions. Also got something else; I need to start saving that limited material again; hopefully it’ll show up at the shovelstrike again soon .

• In the past week, I cooked delicious foods. More specifically popcorn chicken, chicken afritada, and pancit bihon!
• A new update for Gran Turismo 7 dropped recently adding three cars and I've been having a blast with them!

Spoiler: BMW

Returning to the series is a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i (E85)! I've already seen this car in the past, but still pretty cool.

Apparently, someone created a livery of an old meme from using the Z4. All right then.

Even had an online time trial for the Z4 going on at the moment and got gold! Took me a lot of attempts to get there, though.

A 1988 Peugeot 205 GTI! I don't have any personal attachments to it, but I do like how this hatchback handles for being light and nimble.

Spoiler: Mercedes-Benz (it's pretty lengthy, so feel free to skim through or skip entirely)

The highlight of the update! If you thought it was gonna be one of their luxury cars, that ain't the right answer. Of all vehicles and perhaps the wildest addition yet to the game (and the Gran Turismo series as a whole), a 1962 Mercedes-Benz Unimog 411 has joined! This technically makes it the first truck in the series that can be driven. The specs of the Unimog aren't entirely impressive since it only has just under 30 horsepower and only topping out at 90 km/h, but that didn't stop me from having fun with it, especially since the tuning potential to make it go faster is significant!

The fun did not stop there as the custom parts for the Unimog are hilarious. What's this?!?

The ability to put a widebody (which is already hilarious to begin with) opens up even more custom options. Note the smoke stack exhaust and hay bales of all things.

I will never get tired on making custom races. Making it possible to race against a Ferrari GTO in a truck (after throwing every single upgrade) and somehow beating it is a sight to behold.

Never thought I'd see the day where a Suzuki Cappuccino would be fighting against the Unimog. Sorry, I got hay bales to move around lol. Also, fitting on 24-inch wheels on the Unimog is so bizarre.

• I played Gran Turismo 7 again and recreated a Hotwheels livery of a car that @xSuperMario64x gifted me when he visited back in February! I'm really happy with the outcome even though I used some decals that other people already created (which is okay because that means less work for me lol).

It's the Lancia Stratos! I always liked how it looks, especially when it sounds nice for good measure. The designer of this car also worked on the Lamborghini Miura and the Countach, both which are also drivable in the game hehehe.

Over a year ago, I stumbled across a cover of Drivin' from Animal Crossing (which I'm sure I already shared in the past oops). One of the first things that caught my eye was the car used in the animation and immediately recognized it. To witness the Stratos in my absolute favourite K.K. song of all time is a cherry on top!

• At work, there were a few cars with a manual transmission that I had to move. Thank goodness I didn't stall them.
• Played in sessions of Among Us over the weekend hosted by @/Dunquixote and a lot of people turned out to play! There are too many funny moments to mention, but I had this weird glitch happen to me when I reported and got marinated at the same time by an imposter which meant that the crewmates didn't know where the body was found. Shoutout to @/You Got Mail! as I laughed when it happened lol.

• Continuing on from the previous point, one of the Among Us sessions so happened to coincide with @/Xara's birthday, so it was pretty wholesome to see everyone participating to celebrate her special day. I also gifted a couple of drawings to her and it brings a smile to my face to hear that she loved them so much.
• Some days have been pretty sunny which put me in a good mood along with daylight getting longer. It gets a bit depressing leaving for work when it's dark out and still be the case when commuting back home.

March 7, 2025

• I'm off from work today!
• I went for a walk in the morning and got a good exercise. Waking up to a clear sunny day motivated me to get up and soak in the sunlight in cold temperatures which I don't mind at all.
• I stopped by at a bakery store to buy a two slices of cheesecake. I've never been there before despite living in the area for over a decade, so it felt pretty nice. As for how the cheesecake tasted? Delicious! I was savouring it.
• Feel free to skip this point. During my walk, I got to see a Nissan PAO and a Mazda RX-8 again!
• Played Gran Turismo 7 and completed more liveries! Bug shared pictures of his recent acquisitions of Hotwheels and I thought it'd be a good idea to replicate them in-game! Two were pretty basic, but one had a bit more detail and really liked the outcome.

From left to right, we got the Bugatti Chiron, Porsche Carrera GTS (904), and the Lamborghini Miura!

This Carrera GTS is the one that I'm most happy about.

• Got to play Among Us this evening. I only managed to play a few rounds, but it was fun regardless and even getting a rare win as the imposter hehehe.

☾ I played Minecraft for a little while today!! The last time I played was almost exactly one year ago (just one day’s difference!), so that was kinda wild. I was able to earn a couple more achievements too! I’m probably going to try and get a few more first, but there’ve been a lot of updates since I started this world (and new achievements to go with them), so I think I’ll probably start a new one soon! It’s either that or travel thousands of blocks to find the new stuff akjglfdkjgsk

☾ Got to see GoodTimesWithScar’s new Hermitcraft episode and I’m very excited to see where they’re going with all the exiling lmao, and we also watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter and Haikyu tonight!!

: I managed to find my third shiny legendary in Ultra Sun today, Shiny Suicune in 996 soft resets!

I'm very happy i got it today, as i was about to make it to 1,000 soft resets and call it a night, but it shinied in the nick of time!
(It did startle me a little bit when it appeared as I was watching YouTube while hunting and I heard the sparkles which caught me off guard as i wasn't paying attention lol)

Catching it wasn't too bad, I forgot to bring my Shiny Kommo-o with False Swipe, but luckily I had plenty of Roto Catches and my Shiny Malamar with Hypnosis, and my Trevenant with Harvest to make sure it didn't struggle
