I voted for the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards. It was a long process, as you have to copy and paste the ballot into an email and send to the judges, but I made SURE to vote for Elvira (as well as her appearance “Elvira at the Academy” for best horror event). I also wrote in Kane Hodder, Dr. Sarcofiguy, Jennifer Tilly, the Boulet Brothers, and Dead Meat YouTube channel for the Monster Kid hall of fame! (And that Demi Moore gets the recognition she deserves! Mama was ROBBED at the Oscars!)

Tonight, the Dallas Stars take on the New Jersey Devils, this time in Dallas, which should be a great game. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

The Stars ended up winning their third in a row!! The Devils tied it 3-3 towards the end of the third period, but Thomas Harley sniped one into the back of the net with less than 5 seconds left to go in the game!!! I can't believe it!

☾ I was able to do a lot of sketching today!! I think I’ll try to finish at least some of them up tomorrow if I can!

☾ I got a new pin of Yukito from Lover Pretend!! ;w; I barely have any merch of him sobs but I’ve still had a really hard time finding new merch I didn’t already have, so I’m really happy I was able to find this!! It was actually priced reasonably too, which is… far from a given when you’re looking at secondhand otome merch

☾ Watched some Youtube with my family this evening!

- My professor gave me an A for the PowerPoint presentation I completed with my group. I'm glad that I improved my grade in the class.
- My Teddiursa Squishmallow Plush arrived. I needed a pillow to rest on, so I'm glad my delivery came today.

- I completed some homework.
- Watched some of the latest Pokémon Horizons anime and love the season so far.

Survived a hectic work day and so glad to be at home with my furry sons.

My manager came to see me this afternoon and was shocked by the reports I've sent him the past few days. He said the situation is far worse than he expected. Upside I've given him the evidence he needs to push for change. So I'm happy because I'm hopeful. I can't keep working in these high stress conditions and someone is going to do something about it.

• Also I have a job interview , it’s with McDonald’s but should be fine should be enough to get me through until I get something else resolved

Today is still just starting for me and has been kinda rough in a way, but I think it is starting to get better!

I had a nice chat with @skarmoury yesterday . Always good to hear from her .

I’ve been enjoying pocket camp a lot; I’m still excited about some ideas I have. I’ve figured out which fortune cookies to aim for when I have complete tickets again for one of my ideas. For my campsite, I will need sylvana’s cookie, maybe Kabuki’s, Purrl’s (i wanted this one regardless if it went with my idea since it makes me think of Jewels and the cat theme is so cute). Maybe Shino’s, more of blanche’s (the roof doesn’t go with color scheme right now, but still i might be able to make it work if I have no better options), maybe the walkway from Cranston’s (also missing the tree), maybe phoebe’s. I want to add a small touch of more urban stuff in it if I can make it work .

I got most of Wriothesley’s ascensions done in Genshin and almost got his weapon fully leveled and ascended ; I might take my time with the subdetection bug materials . I need 60 of them. Also need a lot more books and mora. Been having fun using Wriothesley.

The new fishing event in Genshin is pretty fun .

Had a nice chat with Zerous and other friends here .

My mom is making tacos for us sometime this week .

That’s it for now! I’m hoping I’ll be able to work on my drawing a little tonight. I’ve been too tired lately. Hopefully Jewels let’s me sleep better tonight .

☾ Saw Grian’s latest episode of Hermitcraft with my parents this evening, and got caught up with Markiplier’s new Headliners video with my mom too!

I'm extremely late to listening to MT (started in 2024 with their latest album lol), but I watched one of their old music videos just now and holy hell I am crying.

Their music video revolving around the exact title of the song "Who Do You Love?" featuring so many places they paid forward to. Animal adoption centers, children's hospitals, schools for the fine arts, drives for the elderly and those with dementia... they were also giving out ice cream and coffee to passers-by. This is just an extremely wholesome video overall and it makes me so, so happy that the song is extremely good as well. Honestly I'd recommend everyone give this a watch, I promise this is such a feel-good video.

It's an old video but good acts never get old, and it really warms my heart and inspires me to pay it forward in the future as well. It's so rewarding to see everyone in good spirits for good deeds done.

omg YES I am so happy.
SO, my touchscreen on my computer has been having a tantrum lately, doing the whole phantom pressing act, so I've been turning my touchscreen off when I'm not drawing, and praying I have enough time before it gets upset again to draw in small increments. I also can't use a section of my touchscreen at all.
BUT I just realised that enabling the touch screen is different to enabling the PEN functionality?!! So now I still have to avoid that section but I can actually draw for longer period of time!!
I'm not working atm so I was really dreading having to pay for a repair, especially if it spread to other parts of the screen, but I can work with this for now!

Edit: I have been informed that this is common knowledge, but alas my knowledge is not common apparently lmao

So my psychiatrist added a PTSD diagnosis to my diagnoses. (I have schizoaffective disorder bipolar type and social anxiety disorder as well) anyway it’s nice to have the trauma that I went through growing up validated if that makes any sense. He said he’s really surprised that that diagnosis wasn’t added a long time ago with my history. And he’s supportive in something else I’m dealing with right now too. So yeah I’m happy I have a really good psychiatrist and therapist. And I’ll be seeing my therapist weekly for now till I get through this crisis I’ve been going through so it’ll be nice to have the extra support.

So my mom was helping me out with my taxes (it was my first time filing taxes) on the turbotax app, and now my federal tax return is expected to come in about 21 days! I honestly wouldn't have done it without her help.

One more day until the weekend!

The problematic person at work was off today. Made my day less stressful.

Realised I've been paying my partner council tax this and last month when it is only paid April through January. Mentioned it to her and she sent me back the £320 I overpaid.* I'm still waiting on £400 to be repaid from elsewhere so this helps a lot right now.

*I technically overpaid last year too, but seems petty to bring that up now so written it off.

Happy today because I got to sleep in a bit and have been productive at work. I also got some good work done on my ACNH island last night and plan on playing again today. Got to talk with some good friends of mine as well, and today when I got up my kitty came to me to rub against me, so I loved on her. Tonight, the Dallas Stars take on the Calgary Flames, going for their 4th win in a row. Hope everyone has an amazing Thursday!

a short shift today, it wasn't too busy which is always pleasant !! only down side with a slow day is that time moves so slow and there's not much to do
near the end of my shift, i went to cover the fitting room and my last customer needed help because her hair got stuck in between the censor of her top poor lady was halfway out of the shirt when she got tangled, thankfully there weren't anybody around the fitting room so i had to come to the front where we have the magnet to uncensor it
