- Got paid quite a lot yesterday! To the point where I thought I'd been overpaid by accident (it was just a tax refund though lol)
- Got Indian takeaway last night for dinner, haven't had it in years so it was a nice treat - it was a feast, w/ lamb biryani, veg curry sauce, veggie samosas, onion bhajis, peshwari nann, alu chat, poppadom, mango chutney, etc
- Renewed my annual travel insurance last night, had to go onto a plan for longer trips because my 1 month trip to Asia later this year lasts just over the 30 day plan
- It's a beautiful sunny saturday! I'm taking my mum out for afternoon tea later bc it's her birthday
after a little major hiccup with media player freezing....(it's fine now... i think... i think it just needed to warm up, i don't know ), i'm glad to know that my slayers cds works & i've already ripped off the first 6 songs that i needed

good day going out with my family to look for a sink to renovate the bathroom, we were antique shopping and i bought a used electric piano today since i have been looking for one for quite a while. after three years of using a beginner keyboard i finally got a piano, it was at an amazing price too.
☾ Watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter and Demon Slayer with my parents this morning, and a little Youtube with them later on too!
☾ I had fun working on some personal projects today! ^^

☾ Played Among Us again tonight and had an absolute blast!! Getting to be potato sack twin impostors with Kaitlin was a ton of fun eheheh
☾ And I love the new Pocket Camp Complete items!! ;v; I decided against going for more February fortune cookies in favor of saving my leaf tokens for March, and ohhh my god I’m so glad I did. I’m absolutely in love with all these fairy and floral themed items!! AAAAAA
-I just got back from Pittsburgh. It's a shame losing my grandma, but I am happy to both see my relatives and spend time with my family, so I am thankful for her for bringing us together. She's at peace with my Grandpa now.
-My Uncle also booked a buffet for everyone afterwards which was nice.
-The car ride was tiring but also nice because I don't get to spend a lot of time with two of my brothers who moved out.
-My dad seemed already during the trip and the memorial emotionally. He also seems to be doing a lot better physically. Glad to see him making a recovery since being out of work!
-Played a bunch of Ho for the go fest as much as I could during the trip with my brother. I got a couple of shiny Kyurem thus far~
-I got 2nd place in the smash tourney! :]
I had a lot of fun this weekend so far playing Among Us with everyone . I was taken aback by the end of one of the rounds, the one that @.: Meri :. mentioned; I was really outplayed by both Meri and LaBelleFleur ; they both made a scary pair. At the end, the way Justin kept following me around, I was more sus of him than LaBelleFleur, oops . So much fun today; no imposter role for me though. My connection was good most of the night and I’m close to getting my space cat . I hope tomorrow my connection is even better.
A few days ago @/-Raven- surprised me with tbt even though they didn’t have to. I hope I can return the favor with some artwork or something ; incredibly kind and generous of them.
Early this morning, Spanky crawled in my arms in bed and fell asleep snuggling with me for a little bit. She snored a little, making these cute little sighs ; I love her so much.
A few days ago, I had a nice chat with @mocha. and got to see more adorable pictures of her kitty . Always nice to hear from her and share kitty pictures with her .

★ a few days ago I applied for a membership at the YMCA. I've been wanting one for years, I don't know why I waited so long but I finally have a membership, and I went there yesterday morning to play pickleball (it was like a walk-in thing, anyone could play). I unfortunately didn't realize that I'd need to bring my own paddle, but an older gentleman let me borrow his for a little while, which was nice. I'm obviously not very good at it because I haven't played pickleball since I was a senior in HS (eight years ago oof), but I really enjoyed it!
I also spent some time shooting hoops in the gym. I don't quite have the arm strength to shoot a 3-point shot, but it's okay, I mostly wanted to practice shooting the ball properly. after that I went to the room with all the exercise equipment, and I must've spent about an hour basically doing a full-body workout. I'd broken out in a sweat by the end of it, but I feel great! I'd like to come back a few times a week to do exercises, I especially want to work on my upper body strength.
I'm hoping to go back today to not only play pickleball some more, but to also swim laps in their olympic-size pool. I don't get to go swimming very often and it's always been one of my favourite activities, so I'm looking forward to it.
★ A few weeks ago I started my first true online class for my MLIS degree. I've been struggling a bit to keep up with it because of all the chaos at home and the drama at work, not to mention that I haven't taken a class since I graduated from undergrad in 2021. but I'm gonna try to write stuff in my agenda so I can be more organized. I will say that I've already learned a lot in the two weeks I've been in it, and I'm excited to see what more I will learn soon!
★ Friday night I was feeling pretty stressed and I had a hard time falling asleep, so I got cozy in my bed and spent a little over an hour reading the rest of the first Dog Man book, all of the second book, and the beginning of the third book. it was at the third book when I started to feel pretty sleepy. reading helped me take my mind off of the stress for a little while. plus there were some parts of the books where I audibly laughed I'm gonna finish the third book either tonight or tomorrow, and I've put the rest of the books on hold through the library. I have about half of them, but I need the fourth book (Dog Man and Cat Kid) since I'd like to read them in order. but I've been enjoying the read for sure!
★ I talked about this in my last post here, but there's a new doughnut shop that's only a 2-3 min walk from the library I work at, and they make these really big and absolutely delicious flaky doughnuts! my favourite is their french toast doughnut, and the others I've tried are very tasty! but I'm hoping to try some different ones next time I go!
★ almost forgot to mention this, but after I left the Y yesterday I went to the thrift store and got some nice swim shorts for the pool (since I only have one pair), and after that I went to Walmart to find a pickleball paddle. I found one that was a reasonable price, and it's blue and purple! I also found some Hotwheels for only $1.18 a piece, and I bought three of them!

I already have a video recorded (from New Years), it just needs to be edited. maybe I'll do that this morning, I need a rest anyway
★ I want to give a little SO to my partner, he's been so supportive and gentle with me as I've been struggling a lot since I got home from my trip. I appreciate him so much
It's not much, but I made a new friend today! It was really therapeutic talking a long while with them. Really really lifted my spirits having someone understand exactly what happened and just overall being kind and patient with me.
I'd also like to thank those here who reached out to me, thank you so much for your kindness and understanding! I'm sorry for the careless words and mistakes I've made in the past (old and new), I'm always looking to better myself and I sincerely thank everyone for being patient with me.
Went bowling for a friend’s birthday party last night and achieved something I’m strived to do for 15+ years now! (Although I’m only gone bowling < 10 times in that span.)
Bowled over 200 with a 201! Which included my first 4 strikes in a row
had a bit of a meltdown about something late last night (basically my bathroom flooded rly badly) and my mum said she'd be over right away in a taxi (she'd had a couple of glasses of wine), I said not to and this morning she arrived at 8am with lots of cleaning supplies and helped me fix the issue and then took me out for food after and helped me replace all my towels etc
Happy today because I got to play ACNH with my friend last night and then sleep in. Last night my laptop randomly decided to stop functioning, but thankfully with someone else's assistance I was able to get it up and running again! It just ended up needing a simple fix, haha. I was worried because I don't have the money to shell out right now for repairs or a new system, lol. The weather outside today has also been pleasant and the Dallas Stars are currently playing against the St. Louis Blues in Dallas, and are up at the moment 2-1 so far. Overall a really solid weekend aside from the tech issues. Hope everyone has a great week ahead!
