☾ Finished the personal art piece I started working on yesterday! ^^

☾ Watched some CoryxKenshin videos today, and another episode of LDShadowLady’s Empires S1 series!

☾ I think one of the neighborhood cats is warming up to me! ;v; He’s friends with another cat in the neighborhood I know, and since she was around and wasn’t scared of me, he wasn’t nearly as skittish as he normally is. He actually got comfortable enough to eat almost right next to me!! Though he was still very wary of me and didn't like it if I moved at all lol, so petting him is still out of the question right now

- It's the weekend! My week went by soooo quickly I had a pretty nice day at work yesterday

- I got paid yesterday, first pay day in my new job !

- Went grocery shopping after work and bought some delicious food for the upcoming week + finally applied for my provisional drivers licence. I want to learn to drive this year so wish me luck

- finished another week at my new job (and was paid yesterday for the previous week!)

- whilst I didn’t have a lie in today, I did go to bed early last night and woke up feeling refreshed. I absolutely love having weekends off after working them for the last, erm… 10+ years I still have work to do for next week (planning and resourcing etc) but I can get that done in my own time.

- I started reading Onyx Storm a few days ago and after dragging myself through Butter (was not a fan) it’s so nice to have a book I’m excited to read again. Looking forward to reading more of it this weekend.

Happy today because the Dallas Stars defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5-3 earlier to stay firmly in the NHL Central Division 2nd playoff spot for now. I also binge watched a lot more Fairy Tail, did some Genshin Impact exploration, and finished the newest rotation of Imaginarium Theater. I'm also SUPER happy it's February and we've made it out of the dead month that is January, which means we're now even closer to the season being spring again. Last, but certainly not least, perhaps what I'm most happy about today is that I'm on a two week+ streak now of getting proper sleep every night. After having struggled with my sleep for so long, I think I'm finally getting back on track with that. My dreams are starting to return in my sleep and I feel more like myself again. I also don't have to work today, so I can sleep in. Hope everyone has an amazing Saturday!

just got my midterms from my review and my score jumped almost 60 points from my diagnostic exam! im pretty happy, definitely expected a way lower score so im glad also got my percentile ranking which was 76th percentile, not immensely high but still levels above average which is good! means I'm part of the top 25% we're halfway through review and I'm hoping i can brush up my knowledge more so i can get an even better score!

i may be tired but i will keep taking care of myself and striving to study hard! AHH i love getting validation from seeing my improvements

Had a nice day out with my mum shopping.
Was mainly shopping to get me some things for my birthday, but it was super nice either way. Found some nice clothing which I rarely find anything good.
New handbag and purse, since my original are starting to wear; the material coming off.

I FINALLY found Celeste's Amiibo!!! (Out of the animal crossing amiibo figures, I think the last one I need is Timmy&Tommy?) She's now renuited with her brother on my shelf.
Also been meaning to grab this switch game, Sakuna of rice and ruin.
Bought the wild robot on DVD, and a new book to read!
Got a moominmama plush, she is so cute. And a castle in the sky notebook~

Had the chance to do some drawing as we relaxed a bit for a break.

☾ Watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter and Demon Slayer with my parents this morning! Later on we also got to see SmallishBeans’ new episode of Hermitcraft!

☾ I set up a new toy for the kitties—one of those automatic fluttery butterflies, with a feather toy at the bottom that moves under a blanket—and it is a huge success omg, they have been obsessed!! Rat loves the feather toy and Boo seems to like the butterfly (or, watching the butterfly at least LOL)!

☾ Did some fun creative stuff today!! Also commissioning an artist for some art of one of my characters; their style is adorable and I’m super excited ;v;

☾ Off to a good start in the new gardening event in Pocket Camp! I love so so many of the limited time items for this month; I’m gonna try to get as much as I can ;w;

☾ I played in the Among Us session tonight and had a lot of fun!! We did a few slow-mo rounds at the slowest possible speed like in a past TBT event, and it was hilarious omg

I meant to post yesterday, but I'll drop down what happened today.

• The weather was pretty cold. HOWEVER, it was accompanied with clear sunny skies which I always like!
• I had a very tasty dinner that filled me up real good. Fried tofu with sauteed green beans and rice is just great.
• This point is gonna get lengthy, so feel free to skim through or skip it if you like. An update for Gran Turismo 7 came out recently and I personally really like the four cars that's been added. I found myself driving quite the distance with them, and the custom parts for those respective cars really got me smiling. I don't usually show unique custom parts, so there will be some extra photos involved!

Spoiler: Toyota

It's actually real. They really did add a 2018 Toyota C-HR S to the game! The name almost spells out Chris if you think about it. I was genuinely hyped this ended up joining the roster amongst many others, especially since that it showed up at my workplace a few days ago for an oil change (with the same year model for good measure)! I never thought that this C-HR would end up being the first car to add to my identified cars list in 2025 (#254 overall), but here we are lol.

I had quite the chuckle when discovering that you can apply these custom parts on the C-HR to make it look like it was built for rallying. Not gonna lie, I lowkey think this photo could be used as a meme template when you're late for work. Too bad the power upgrades are absolutely dreadful and that it uses a CVT transmission.

Spoiler: Hyundai

A 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, eh? I don't really mind its inclusion to the game despite it being an EV and yet another SUV. While I have seen regular versions on public roads from time to time, I definitely did not see this variant in real life. Of course, if I ever do see the IONIQ 5 N someday, I will report my sightings!

Goodness gracious, the front and rear wing are absolutely wild (the livery itself is not made by me), especially with the widebody!

Spoiler: (Of course it's a) Honda!

Going back a few decades from the modern stuff, this 1987 Honda Civic Si Extra (EF) makes its debut in the series! The antennae with a topper is quite funny to me. I hope to see this fourth-gen Civic in real life someday with whatever slim chance I have.

The front and rear bumpers are interesting (especially the latter), but the option to partially cover the hood with black leather is quite an odd choice. Surely it has a purpose in real life?

Spoiler: A fictional... F1 car?

Created by the developers themselves, they made an original version of an F1 car from the early 90s era. They named it the F3500-A and had many colour options available. I chose this particular colour simply because I like the looks and that it's not very often you see pink on cars. Anyways, it sounds absolutely amazing along with a few custom options to slightly change up the look of the front wing, sidepods, and rear wing!

While many other people went down the path to put on liveries of real F1 cars, I went down the other path where I put on a custom livery that someone made from Gran Turismo 3 which also had fictional F1 cars. I personally resonate with this one a lot because I remember watching my father play the aforementioned game back then when I was very young. He was driving this pink F1 car in a race, but somehow struggled badly to win a race despite his opponents being slow in every way. It's one of those memories that stuck with me.

• I played Among Us this evening with @/Dunquixote, @/.: Meri :., and @/BetsySundrop! We only did hide and seek and despite only the four of us playing together, we cracked up a ton laughing in these funny moments. Running at a snail's pace while being chased down by the imposter is both terrifying and hilarious.
• I'm getting more and more excited each day because at the time of making this post, it'll only be a week until I'll get to see @/xSuperMario64x again.

• Papi is adjusting really well, he walks around like he owns the house now lol he's so friendly and snuggly and sweet. Mustachio doesn't like him still but she'll adjust with time

- Enjoyed a lazy sunday!

- Did a lot of cooking / meal prep, I made beef meatballs in tomato veggie sauce w/ veg couscous, and then cooked some beef stew with dumplings. Those will be my lunches at work for this week

- Did a workout I weighed myself today and seems like I'm losing weight? I think it might just be muscle loss, I haven't been working out nearly as often since starting full-time work, but have been eating less

Today I had a really good breakfast taco it had hashbrowns, cheese, eggs and sausage. I've been trying to not just at cereal or bread with peanut butter for breakfast. I also got some really good coffee that has woken me up quite a bit which I am glad for. I also played some Hello Kitty Island Adventure and did some quests, collected some items and leveled up some friendships.

Happy today because I got to sleep in and am having some hot coffee for a change today. I also don't have work tomorrow because I have a doctor's appointment instead and martial arts practice. The Dallas Stars play the Columbus Blue Jackets today, going for their 5th win in a row. Last, but certainly not least, I spent for Jinhsi's wavebands in Wuthering Waves, which I'm super happy about since she's my favorite character in the game right now. Hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Finally went to lunch with with some friends of ours we've been trying to meet up with for a long time! They even brought us freshly picked strawberries.

Also, was looking through our ammo stash to see if we had any for one of my bf's new guns and found my Kabar. I misplaced it back in September and figured I'd have to buy a new one. My Red Dead Redemption 2 lighter was still attached to the sheath too! So glad I hadn't bought new stuff yet.
