- The weather was nice and sunny when I went outside for a walk today.
- Worked on a sketch of a red panda. Haven't finished the background, though here's what I completed so far.
- Had some rice with chicken and potatoes for dinner.
- Watched a movie in the evening.
I also got an e-mail saying the pre-order I placed for my Genshin Impact Fischl figure in 2023 has finally shipped, which means it should be here within the next several weeks! I'm SO excited!
IT'S FINALLY HERE, GUYS!!! I had SO much fun finally receiving this figure and assembling it today to complete my anime shelf. Credit goes to @/Mairmalade for raising awareness about it to me and others in the first place. It's everything I hoped it would be and more. Whenever I move this year I plan on bringing this and my other anime merch with me. < 3
Also happy today because I had a great day at work and the Dallas Mavericks play the Washington Wizards tonight, which should be a good game. Hope everyone's having a good Monday!
☾ I finished the Furrowfield chapter in Dragon Quest Builders 2! I'm pretty sure I beat all the optional bosses, did all the mini medal puzzles, and found all the secret furniture too. I… definitely need to come back to Furrowfield later and remodel the town, because it kiiiiind of looks like a wreck right now (my fault, not the monsters’ LMAO), but in the meantime I’m excited to get building started on the Isle of Awakening!
☾ I’m done with the current events in Pocket Camp Complete! ALSO there was one of Dobie’s fortune cookie in the shop for 5000 bells, and I got the five-star item from it?? I like collecting the scrapbook memories when gacha luck allows for it, so that was really cool!
☾ My parents and I watched GoodTimesWithScar’s new episode of Hermitcraft this evening!
Work went well today, as well as yesterday. In the past I’ve been anxious about how projects are progressing but I don’t feel that way anymore.
The leader of my team also said that I did well with a type of work I handled for the first time recently.
Also I finished another book in Japanese, my second for the year. I’m on a good track to finish 12 this year, my goal!
I got a referral to start going to a weekly art group at my mental health clinic, I start this wednesday. It's every wednesday from 2pm to 3pm. Super excited about it as it gives me a chance to do more art and should be therapeutic as well
I slept well
The med increase my psychiatrist made is starting to help Very thankful for that cause I was struggling for awhile

I had another nice chat with my partner Char (@ZeldaCrossing64). It lasted days because we were preoccupied with stuff, but it was worth it because their messages led me to a moment of clarity. I'm starting to come to terms with who I am a little more which is very great, but it won't be easy to completely be satisfied with myself, heh.
On 1/22 I discovered a recently released game that I can't believe I didn't notice until that point! It's called Dog Man: Mission Impawsible and it looks like a pretty fun game. When I showed this to Char, who is the biggest Dog Man fanatic I know, they fell head over heels for it just from watching the trailer!!

I put more Dog Man books on hold! I plan on continuing to binge-read the series (I paused around July 2024) to prepare for the upcoming movie. Char also sent me a cute sketch starring our characters.
The dialogue is from Dog Man: Lord of the Fleas! Also wanted to mention that I posted the original quote in my profile before, and it must've resonated with them, which is why they drew it.

I finished crocheting Petey from Dog Man, whom I started working on a few days ago! You can see him in my icon. I'll be posting him in my Museum thread too, when I have free time.

I went to the library to get the Dog Man books I held on Friday and bought a snack from their vending machine. I accidentally held my wallet upside-down and spilled my coins while trying to get out my dollar bills for the vending machine, but luckily someone was nice enough to help me pick them up. ^_^

Today I got some materials for a science project, which I'm excited to make because my teacher let me crochet! Also, I'm working on a Dog Man amigurumi to complement Petey and it's going well so far. I even got to banter with my partner, lol. That said, I'm so excited for the Dog Man movie to be released in a few days! I hope my sis or mom can take me to the theater in time and that there are still seats available by then.
☾ Two plushes I ordered got here safely today!! ;w; I was going to wait to open them until after a doctor’s appointment I have coming up as a treat to help me through the appointment anxiety, but my mom told me to go ahead and open them so she could get me something for after the appointment I was having a rough day so that really cheered me up aaaa
☾ My parents and I watched an episode of LDShadowLady’s Empires S1 series along with a few other videos!! My mom and I also found some videos to watch tomorrow night!
☾ Since they’ll be rotated out in a few days, I bought a ton of fortune cookies in Pocket Camp Complete, and was able to unlock a few more scrapbook memories!! I’ve got several of the cookies fully completed now; I’ll see how many more I can finish before the end of the month!

Happy today because I had a great day at work and then played a TON of Genshin Impact, and started building Fischl into an overload team. The Dallas STARS also just defeated the Las Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas 4-3 the final in overtime, lesssss goooooooooo!!!!
I had a nice weekend with my husband and my dog. We watched The Wild Robot and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. I did a lot of relaxing and self-care.
On Monday, I called my mom's insurance company and got something sorted out. It was a small thing, but it feels good to have it done.
Work has been pretty cool lately. I really do love the project type stuff. I'm even leading up a task, organizing the sessions, and reporting out on our progress. I normally don't like to be in any kind of leadership position, but I've gotten so much praise for how I'm pitching in and helping my new team already that it makes me feel rather proud of my accomplishments.
I'm also still training my replacement on my old team, and he's picking things up very quickly. We have a lot to cover, but it's going really well. It feels like a huge burden has been lifted now that he's doing over 50% of the work himself.
Since I fixed the cat trees they've actually been using them together. They usually never do that. So it's great to see them together just sleeping. I came home from work to see them all snug as a bug and happy.
I finally found another job to apply for, this was one super close and in an role I am interested in; I even wrote a cover letter~ fingers crossed!
I drew in my book again but im not happy im not good at faces, its literlly a random luck if i do a good face or not.
