What Are You Happy About Today?

Happy today because I got up early and worked on my overload team for Genshin Impact, and finished it for now. I also was super productive at work and was given a new task to work on by one of my colleagues. Speaking of work, I made a BUNCH of great jokes today and made all my colleagues laugh like crazy. One of them even commented to me that I was on fire today, hehe. I'm looking forward to the Dallas Mavericks @ New Orleans Pelicans game tonight as well. Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!

☾ I worked on art some more today, and I’m making steady progress! ^^

☾ I managed to fully complete all the January fortune cookies in Pocket Camp Complete!! I spent so much time grinding leaf tokens and I’m almost completely out of villager maps now eheh, but I actually got everything!! ;v; Wooooo

☾ Watched another episode of LDShadowLady’s Empires S1 series with my parents this evening, along with a few other shorter videos! Afterwards my mom and I caught up some more with Markiplier’s videos, and started watching LDShadowLady’s Amnesia: The Dark Descent series from over a decade ago LOL. she and her sister are absolutely killing me omg

- This week has been going by really quickly, I can't believe it's Thursday already

- I feel like work is going okay, I feel very chill and comfy with my new routine. And my team managed to reach our target for the week despite thinking we wouldn't, so that's nice

- I'm happy the days are slowly getting longer, yesterday I left work at 5pm and it was sunset rather than pitch black outside

- Generally I think I'm in a good place currently

- Oh, and my finger feels a lot better, it's no longer swollen

I want to try to make it a habit to write in here every day, I want to focus on the good things in my life admist the many struggles. I want to be a happy Bug hehe

Funny thing, my sister had a good idea to get an empty jar, and each day have a strip of paper to say what went well each day, put them in the jar and you get to look back at everything good that happened in the year, even small happiness and reread them nearer the end of the year!
I think its good since I usually forget a lot haha like what I did each day that I do wanna remember

• I started going to a weekly art group at my mental health clinic. Yesterday was my first day there. I really enjoyed it and am excited to keep going
• Slept well last night
• Have an appointment with my doctor today, hopefully he can help out with a health issue I've been having for awhile now
• I've been doing a lot better since my meds were increased for my schizoaffective disorder bipolar type
• Getting back into my routine with practicing violin today
• I filed my taxes so I should be getting a return in the next month yay!

I picked my cousin's kids up from school today! I love them, but that's not all I'm happy about. They're always hungry, so I got them happy meals after. Well, bless their hearts, they gave me the cards I needed from the happy meal Pokemon cards set :") Now I'm only missing Hydreigon.

☾ I woke up in the middle of the night because I wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t get back to sleep for a while, but in that time I re-read volume 26 of Kimi ni Todoke! ;v; And later today we lost power for a bit, so I started re-reading volume 27 too! I know I’m super close to where teenage me left off now and?? literally why did I not just finish the series after reading like 90% of it LMAO Since I’m almost at the end now, I think I’ll order Kimi ni Todoke: Soulmate sometime in early February!

☾ Watched some Youtube videos on my own and with family today! My mom and I watched LDShadowLady’s unfortunately short-lived Outlast series ahaha, and we all continued watching fromscratchbaker playing Minecraft!

☾ And I’ve spent the evening working on some personal art! I'm happy with how it's coming along so far c:

Happy today because I got paid finally, and it's Friday! I also got up early and have been super productive at work so far. The Dallas Mavericks also play the Detroit Pistons today, and the Dallas Stars play the Vancouver Canucks, both of which should be good games. Still really enjoying Fairy Tail as a show as well. Lastly, I loved on my kitty this morning and she started purring. Hope everyone has an amazing Friday!

My family and I moved into our new house! It's a small house (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom household), but it does have a basement. Plus, it's closer to my job than our old house. We'll be staying at our new house for about a year until we find a bigger house to move in.

• i got new training at work this week in the cash office and it surprisingly isn’t… so bad !!! all the managers and coordinators are so nice they keep saying it’s a nice fit for me and that i’d do a perfect job in there (no pressure at all >.<‘)
• oh, i forgot to report back after the LNY party but it was a huge success !!!! everyone really loved the desserts i made (which is always a relief) but i truly wasn’t expecting the cake i decided to make last minute be the best one there :0 there was only two slices left from the whole cake and i brought those over to my other family to have
• i have a nail appointment coming up today so i’m excited for that, then i’ll be going to the mall with my sister to see if we can find any shoes for my cousin’s wedding that’s coming up. it’s still a little far away but better do the shopping now !!

It's Friday! This week has been hell but I made it through. My girlfriend made a point of saying she is proud of me and is buying me dinner: popcorn chicken and chips from an amazing local chicken place.

Sometimes you just need someone to congratulate you on basic things like you're a child.

The sims 1 & 2 was re-released today and I got them both. I played these games a lot as a kid so I'm ready for that nostalgia

• It’s been a good day overall , oh yeah I almost completely forgot I took a 40 min walk this morning. I’ve been trying to get out more and walk mainly for exercise, I use Pokémon go to motivate myself though. If anyone here wants to add me on Pokemon Go send me a message, I don’t have many friends on there
• I kind of inspired a person I know online to start drawing due to my drawings they’ve seen, and now their enthusiasm for the hobby and their drawings are in turn inspiring ME. So it’s really cool

i have a nail appointment coming up today so i’m excited for that, then i’ll be going to the mall with my sister to see if we can find any shoes for my cousin’s wedding that’s coming up. it’s still a little far away but better do the shopping now !!

& i was able to find the shoes (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ) they're these beige/pinky mary jane heesls that were on clearance (from $70 to $20 !!!)

also got some accessories that i might bring to the wedding but i can decide on that a little closer to the date haha, i just like having the option juuuust in case

I got stressed over something yesterday so I had to take a short break from the forums, which was just what I needed. I was also productive and got most of my homework done! I have one more to finish, and after that I'm free for the weekend.

And also, I thought I wouldn't be able to watch Dog Man tomorrow, but it turns out I can after all! My sister just bought tickets, and I'm very excited to see it.

I found my co-worker crying in the change room, so I stayed and talked, with her. Then gave her my tissue bag until she felt better. ♡
