What Are You Happy About Today?

I had a pretty good day today. I played more Endless Ocean: Luminous and this time I found my favorite creature: a goblin shark! It was so cool getting to swim alongside it in the deep, dark ocean, virtually of course. I also found a rare variant of the goblin shark that was so creepy looking. I loved it!

My husband still makes me so happy. He told me today that my face lit up the first time I saw him after the procedure and it made him feel so good. That's so cute!

He's also taking such good care of everything while I'm recovering, including my dog. It hasn't been easy because Tanuki is very attached to me, but he's getting better about going on walks without me. He only resists a little bit now. I could probably start accompanying them just out into the yard, but I think this is a good chance for the two of them to bond more so I'm not going to interfere.

I logged in to see beautiful Miss Bonk in the banner! Seeing any of your lovely animals always makes me smile, so I hope to see more of them throughout the event!

The next Flipline game has been officially announced - Papa's Pizzeria Deluxe ^_^
Me and a considerable portion of people in the Flipline fandom were pretty much convinced that we were going to get Papa's Burgeria Deluxe next (considering it is the only gameria that doesn't have a variant with holidays and has gone the longest without a remake). But I am stoked all the same ^_^

I have also been working on some fanfiction for the aforementioned Papa Louie universe. I am really excited about the chapter I am currently working on. I will be bring in a comfort character/my current fictional other from another video game (yay, crossovers ^,^) - I am only in the beginning stages of the chapter, but I am enjoying writing it so far and intrigued about how it will go. ^_^

It’s taken me years to pluck up the courage and finally pursue this, but today I went to the GP and got referred for an autism assessment. Feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and hopefully this will help me gain closure.

Today I'm happy because I took a walk outside. It was my first time being outdoors since I came home on Friday and it felt great. The temperature was warm and comfortable, the sky was blue, the fall leaves were stunning. A few people had Halloween decorations out. I was hoping to see some of the neighborhood animals, but all I saw was one sleeping cat and a few squirrels.

That's ok, though. I only made it the length of one block and then had to turn back. When I can make it farther and manage the hills, I should see more of the usual faces.

I am happy today because I am officially a licensed driver!

Small things that made me happy today:

Today is my girls’ third gotcha day! Hard to believe that I had them for three years now. I still have to pick them out some goodies even though it’ll be late. For now, I’ll give them some extra treaties. I love my babies so much .

I think I should be done with my unreal estate soon; maybe tomorrow night.

I found another nearly busted radio in my recycling bin .

I got some snuggles from Spanky earlier .

Earlier I made a template for my second island’s journal that I think I’m happy with. I’m still excited about it.

☾ I finished re-reading volume 21 of Kimi ni Todoke, and got through most of volume 22 as well!

☾ My parents and I watched GoodTimesWithScar’s first Wild Life episode this evening, and afterwards my mom and I caught up with some more of Markiplier’s recent videos!

☾ I played through the Phantom in the Fairgrounds text adventure, and got my guesses in for Count Inside the Bottle and the current House of Nightmares round! Some things we had planned for tomorrow and over the weekend have also probably been pushed back, so hopefully that’ll give me some more time to catch up on the new events! ;u;

Happy today because I was productive at work and had a good time. Polished up my newest team in Zenless Zone Zero and I'm excited to play the Honkai: Star Rail update. Tonight was also my last martial arts class before my testing, and I thought my techniques looked pretty good. I also baked for the first time ever and thought I did a pretty decent job at it. Hope everyone had a good day.

- Played a lot of Stardew Valley. I have it on both PC and console, but I think I prefer playing it on the latter.
- Suggested google questions can be so funny. I literally got one that said "What happens if you turn your children into doves?"

Had a really good day today, I found an old DS game I used to play in a second-hand shop and it still had the manual and everything, it was only $5 AUD too, I'm really excited to get to play it again!

- Got a job interview tomorrow so we'll see how that goes It's the same hours as my current job, just spread out throughout the week, and slightly better pay (not by much at all though). But mostly was looking to get out of the food / customer service industry so it suits for that. If I do get offered it but it has less annual leave / holidays / benefits as my current job i would have to decline tho

- Only doing a short closing shift today, so that's fine.

- It's actually been really nice and sunny recently, pretty autumn weather

- Sorting out Halloween plans with my friend. We are stuck between if we wanna watch Hocus Pocus or Nightmare on Elm Street. Also thinking we should do a joint costume slay as angel and devil

@Dunquixote your kitties are so adorable! Happy gotcha day to them! My Mustachio turns 3 too right around this time. I got her the week before Thanksgiving 3 years ago and she was a tiny little kitten then. So I assume she was born around October at some point

• Yesterday I went to a nutrition class. It was good and very informative. Plus I got to see a friend there.
• Tonight I’m going to a chess/game night thing event. Should be fun!
• I slept well last night
• Cooked chicken last night and it came out very good

The DLC for Factorio came out a few days ago and I’ve been spending all week playing it with some of my friends (and a few strangers, too!)

Today is just starting for me but I have a few things that I’m happy about:

I finally got a villager that I wanted for my second island ; I was trying to get Frobert again but I got Drift! He’s another of my favorite frogs and one I’ve been interested in for so long. He probably won’t be permanent but I wanted to still start with a villager that I liked .

I got started working on a collage for my island journal; it’s just something to make table of contents page look nicer .

I had a lot of fun last night with the phantom in the fairgrounds. It reminded me of how much fun I had with the 2021 event too. I also remember now that that was what inspired part of my design for Jack’s vacation home. I was just recently trying to remember what had inspired it when I visited it recently. I knew it was a tbt event and activity but I forgot what one.

I’m still feeling drained but I’m feeling much better than I’ve been lately. It helped that last night ended on a good note .

I’m really happy that I got to trade with @KittenNoir again and chatted with her a bit. I’m finishing up my unreal estate entry right now.

I’m so happy I have such good friends here; I’m seriously grateful for their patience.

I think my mom is making lasagna tonight .

I wrote the SAT practice in school today, and I’m so happy to not have to think about it anymore. It was really easy at first during the reading and writing section, and then it was also easy during the first half of the math section, but during the second half I started getting really annoyed at the test because more of the questions were starting to be stuff that I either forgot or was just never taught, and the timer was not helping. So some of the last questions were kind of rushed. But overall I think I was decent. I can’t fully relax yet because I still have to do the actual test in March and then again around this time next year, but then I never have to do it again… but then I’ll almost be in college so… I’ll probably have other things to worry about. But that’s for another day.

Anyway, hopefully whatever I got on this was at least top 20% or I might get evicted lol. That’s just how Nigerian parents are. But I am confident that I did that well.

I guess I should probably post some other things I’m happy about then… okay…

- I don’t feel terrible today. Yesterday my throat got irritated pretty much every time I breathed through my mouth, and on Tuesday I sneezed, and I think it made my chest just… collapse proof that my body is actually made of glass lmao. It just hurt a lot throughout that day and yesterday, especially when I coughed, which was obviously happening a lot. It’s not as bad today. Also doing better mentally. There was this thing that’s usually bothering me but yesterday in particular I couldn’t stop thinking about it
- there’s a certain game that’s coming out tomorrow. You can probably guess what it is but I’m so excited! It’s the first time there’s a game that I’ve been hyped for for a long time, and I can get it without having to be careful of spoilers for too long. I’m surprised my dad let me get it too since my parents really dislike it when I ask for video games because they seem to think it means I’m not caring enough about school
- I had a wrap for dinner I guess I’m happy about that? It tasted good lol
- because of the test, it cut out 3 of the classes I would have normally had, and the class I had right before and after the testing block we just didn’t do anything in. It was a pretty chill day
- and finally, I finished science notes! That’s actually one of my favorite classes besides those, because my science teacher just gives us a 40-50 minute long video explaining and going through a multi page document filled with tons of notes and we have to write them down. All of them. Some of them are questions that we have to answer or words that we have to define. It’s not at all fun, and we usually have a week to do it, but still. Luckily, I finished mine earlier today, and now I won’t have to think about this either until they get graded on Monday and another video inevitably gets posted, whenever that is

I'm just happy today that I had a really good work day and the Dallas Mavericks won their home opener 120-109 against the San Antonio Spurs. When Klay Thompson took the wide-open 3 later in the game after a dribble the kid in me made me scream "yes!" Lol, overall just a feel good day and I'm glad I get to sleep in and get paid tomorrow.

☾ Today I realized the last time I'd asked my doctor about the cold medicines I could take was before I switched to my current antidepressant, and after asking again today, I got the okay to take Nyquil and other actual cold medicines again!! I was only allowed to take Tylenol and an allergy relief thing before, and while they're absolutely better than nothing, I was still pretty miserable on them. I feel like “I’m happy I’ll suffer less if I get sick again” is a weird thing to post about aklfjlksdfd, but this was actually such a relief to me because if I do catch another cold, I might actually feel up to playing a game or watching something instead of just trying to sleep for a week straight aaaaa

☾ I got to listen to some music in the background while doing other stuff today!! Which isn’t that unusual for me honestly, but I feel like it’s been hitting different the past few days and really helping me relax ;v;

☾ We got a nice pumpkin that I’m planning to use for Pumpkin Pageantry! And it was one of only two left at the grocery store no less (and the other one seemed to be going bad eek) They’ve seen better days but if something goes horribly wrong with this pumpkin, I still have a few smaller ones we got earlier in the month I can use as a backup plan too!

☾ I finished my entry for Pierrot’s Parlor! I’ve never tried tattoo design before so this was pretty new to me (and I consider composition one of my weak points aaa), but I had fun working on it and I’m fairly happy with how it turned out!

☾ My parents and I watched SolidarityGaming’s first Wild Life episode this evening!

More things that I’m happy about:

My dad went to the other side of the state for something today and came back with fried rice and egg rolls from my favorite Chinese restaurant .

I was able to turn in my unreal estate entry. It feels really good to be done. I had a lot of fun with it but at the same time I kinda wish it was a smaller activity. I started my creature drawing. I’m taking it easy right now since I don’t want to make my burnout worse than it is. I think it is helping me to destress a little and feel a little less burned out Since today I worked mostly on my unreal estate, tomorrow I’ll work more on the drawings.

Spanky is sleeping in her ramen bed; she hasn’t slept in it for months but tonight she got in it on her own .

I had a nice chat with @-Blue- @Yoshi155 and @Xara today .
