What Are You Happy About Today?

It's been a while since my last post, eh? I feel like my life has took a turn for the better, and I hope I can post more frequently here! I'll start with the more recent events...

♬ I finished all my exams! I still have some overdue homework... That I procrastinated on... But otherwise, I'm officially done with high school!!! (Assuming I pass, obviously.) This is huge for me; I didn't have the best high school experience, so I'm happy to be out and I'm excited to see where my life's gonna go in the near future.

♬ I started playing AC:NH again! I helped one of my online friends by giving them a ton of items I didn't need, and I was able to do some trades with some lovely users here! I also made big progress on my island - Finishing my fish critterpedia and getting a 5-star rating!! I'm glad that I was able to reignite that spark to play again.

♬ Alright, a quick appreciation post: I feel like my TBT (and overall life) experience has gotten better since I became friends with @Suguri! From sharing art and music to consoling each other in need, I've just been real happy in their presence. I don't want to end up writing a convoluted love letter in the middle of my post, so let's just say I love and appreciate my friend a ton. 💜

♬ I've been able to explore my music tastes drastically since my last post - While it's mostly within the same genre, I'm very glad that I've started listening to a TON of metal bands, some of which have become my favorites! Honestly, I'm proud of myself for opening myself up musically and discovering new artists, because I sometimes struggle with straying from what's familiar to me. Kickass progression! 🎵

♬ Speaking of music, my dad gave me his Slayer shirt! I'm pretty low on band shirts, so I'm super ecstatic about it. I quite like Slayer and the shirt is so, so cool! 🤩

♬ I'm having trouble trying to think of a last point, so I'll say that I'm content with my life and leave it at that. I really thought that things wouldn't get better, but I believe getting out of high school was what I needed to grasp that sliver of hope (as cheesy as it sounds!). Things are finally looking up for me!

These are mostly yesterday's events, and hopefully I'll have a good day today. I'm glad to be back! 🖤

☾ I played Usagi Shima a little more today!! I think I’m close to becoming besties with Cloud! 🩵

☾ Got to watch another episode of Hunter x Hunter with my parents, and we watched a little bit of Youtube later on too! I was excited to see that some of our favorite Minecrafters did another hide and seek build challenge, and we’ve already seen GeminiTay’s episode now.

☾ Also played Cozy Grove this morning and caught some new critters!! I think I’m also getting close to the end of a few bears’ stories and whew boy... but I also finally met Ursula Pine today, and she seems lovely!

☾ Worked on a little personal art, and decided to join Team Stardust for Artfight! I love Seafoam’s teal color but the starry theme appeals to me more aaaa

☾ And I got to play in the TBT neighborly games Among Us session this evening!! ;v; I had a lot of fun (including being an annoying saboteur impostor ghost) and bought a lot of cute cosmetics from the shop with my accumulated beans! Gotta save up for the snack cosmicube next though because the little bread pet Xara had is so cute omg
 
Last day of vacation was a good day day. It has been a nice relaxing vacation. Thankful I was able to get stuff done around the house and the yard cleaned. The stuff I ordered from Amazon arrived today. Have been playing Pokémon Violet and finally found my first two shiny Pokemon the other day. I now have 5 gym badges , 5 titan badges and 2 star badges. Played some Mario kart and raced some online. I think I did pretty good and was usually 5or 6th but did get 4th . Which is pretty good for me. Went over for a family dinner since we hadn’t had one in awhile. It was nice to catch up . I made peanut butter cookies. It was nice getting to spend more time with Aurora. Back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Today was a nice day. I haven't been sleeping well lately, but I slept in this morning and felt much better. I spent the day relaxing at home with my husband and my dog. We got caught up on The Boys and Doctor Who, played some games, and enjoyed our walks outside. I'm looking forward to having a similar day tomorrow.
 
Today was a relaxing day off! I slept in, and then ordered my favorite coffee drink and got some house tasks done. Since I have nothing else to do, I've just been playing through some more of Genius Invokation TCG in Genshin Impact and having fun while drinking my coffee. I also fed my kitties their favorite food and loved on my favorite. Hoping everyone had a good day. 💜
 
the party was a success!!! i had a lot of fun catching up with all of my relatives and ate.... so much food, i still feel like a balloon
i forgot to take a picture of all the food but wowie, there's was a ton and i managed to grab a lot of leftovers so i'll be having those this week hehe

time really flew by since my sister's graduation is happening so soon, it's on monday!! haven't wrapped my head around that either - my baby sister is graduating college!! i swear she was just an itty bitty baby
 
Today wasn’t the best mood wise but after another nap and earlier talking to friends, it’s a bit better. I might come back soon, depending on how I feel.

I’m happy because:

Yesterday @Mimi Cheems sent me a purple balloon collectible; she didn’t need to give me anything. It was so thoughtful and a wonderful surprise ☺️. She’s been listening to me the last few days along with other friends and she helped me cope with severe depression. Thanks Mimi (and everyone) ☺️. I had some much needed laughs earlier; she wore the fish head outfit for me in Splatoon. Such a funny hat 😂.

I finally got the cat outfit in splatoon! 🥳 Just need the paw shoes now, I think!

i cleared my first team star base in Pokemon Violet recently and got some more shinies. My favorite one that I got is this kitty. I love the shinies that look significantly different from their normal version ☺️.

I also captured a former titan pokemon that I beat the day before. I’m getting more three star tera raids when doing random raids 🙂. I got some more sandwich ingredients unlocked! (couldn’t stock up on all since I’m broke 😅😂)

On my second island: I found Molly island hopping—she moved in yesterday. Today Punchy moved in (naturally) and tomorrow Apple moves in too! I’m hoping soon I can start flattening my island; I’m doing my best trying resist tting on this island for now.

Yesterday: I had a blast with @Xara and @S.J. playing a long overdue Mario Party! :D I hope we can play again sometime.
 
What happened yesterday:
- I went out to eat at a restaurant with my mom and aunt.
- Found this cute pic of my sister's cat Luka. He's so cute omg I miss him. Can't wait to see him when my sister comes back from uni.

What happened today:
- Had a nice breakfast.
- Caught a shiny Mantyke in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
- Slept well last night.
- Worked on a sketch of Harry Potter. I don't mind if the drawing turns out different than what I expected since I'm at an intermediate level, and I can draw another portrait of him again in the future when I gain more experience.

❧ Played sooo much Sploon today (again) with @Dunquixote ! I really love playing Splatoon with her, she's always a great time and keeps me distracted from the real world when it's all too much. She's proven to be such an amazing friend to me ;w; Dun makes me very happy and she always makes me laugh with her jokes and emote reacts xD <3

❧ Currently speed-running the latest event from Honkai: Star Rail,,, pretty sure it's called the Galactic Baseballer or something. This makes me happy 'cause me and Dun have been gushing over our gacha husbandos together xD It's funny, we have very similar taste in husbands. 👀 My favorite right now is Gepard.. I LOVE HIM. He makes me sooo happy.

❧ Played some AC:NH today. Cranston wanted to move; which made me sad. BUT IT MADE ME HAPPY because I forgot you can make villagers stay against their own will. :3c I'm also happy about Animal Crossing since my island seems to be looking really good with how much I've decorated so far! Getting a little burnt out from it, though. Remember to take breaks when needed! ^^

❧ Did a bit of roleplay stuff with my sister today in our writing server! I love making OCs to ship with canon characters. Plus, my sister is the only one I trust to write with nowadays. I've lost hope in other roleplayers online T^T They can never match my energy anymore, so I'm happy I still have my sister to write with ^^

❧ Ordered some drinks on Doordash since I ran out and nobody wanted to take me to the store to get some. :^ But it made me happy because I got to spend money on something I wanted xD

❧ Fangirled over Gepard (a lot), and saved some fanart of him to my computer <3 I am so in love with this character it's not even funny. He's literally just my type. Why can't you be real :l I just wanna marry him T^T I don't think I've felt such a strong connection to a character before since Bucky Barnes in like 2015, lol. And everyone who knows me from those days, knows HOW much I love Bucky.

❧ I never realized how much a Clorox wipe could clean a dirty ceramic coaster, lol. While I was cleaning my desk again, I figured I'd try to clean the coaster I got in Massachusetts back in 2017-2018. AND IT WORKED?! It's no longer nasty lookin', it's pearly white like it used to be which made me so happy 'cause I didn't wanna have to buy another one :^/
 
  • I slept so good last night! It’s the first really super good night of sleep I’ve had in awhile! I slept straight through the night. Good sleep always makes such a huge difference in my mood 💤
  • I’m enjoying coffee right now with some music ☕️ today I have my volunteer shift with the rescue cats so I’m definitely looking forward to that! I also have a volunteer shift there tomorrow as well so yay for lots of cats! :D
  • I’ve been setting aside 45 minutes to an hour a day to studying music theory. I think it’s gonna really help a lot with my violin, ukulele and keyboard playing. It’s always important to understand the fundamentals of music theory. 🎼
  • I’ve almost learned all of Zelda’s Lullaby on ukulele. I can already play it on violin. 🎻
  • Mustachio is very energetic especially in the mornings, she loves to wake me up, it always makes me laugh seeing her running around like a maniac and coming up on the bed licking my face 😂 Mocha is more chill he likes sleeping in 🛌 😴 ❤️
  • I got a free 1 month trial to Amazon music! So I’ve been listening to tons of music 🎼 music is everything to me ❤️
  • I signed up for an adult summer reading program at my library. So they have this site/app that you can track your books read on and then at the end of it the randomly draw 9 names of people who participated and each one gets a $50 gift card to various different local restaurants or businesses. I’m mostly doing it to challenge myself to read more but winning a gift card would be cool as well 😀 📚
  • Also my library has an adult coloring night on Tuesday I’m going to. I’m trying to get myself out of the house more and socialize more so I’m excited for it plus I love coloring, it’s super relaxing and fun to me. 🖍️
  • So far I feel pretty good with the med increase my psychiatrist made. So that’s good 👍
  • Ive been re-watching Demon Slayer and am really enjoying watching it again
  • My boyfriend and I watched some Naruto last night. We’re gonna do something today since he has the day off 🙂 maybe play yugioh or something
 
At the park right now, just enjoying a nice walk. I'm happy to be able to walk, to breathe and see all the green, natural beauty around me 🌳🌳🌳 it's warm and sunny, and there are cute ducks and swans at the lake. Lots of families here on a picnic and barbecues for Father's Day.

I adore the smell of barbecue 🥰🔥🥩🍔🌭 summer starts the moment grills start grillin' it up with some franks and burgers.
 
☾ I saw the newest episode of this show I'm watching. There were specific parts I really liked, but I can't talk about them since it's not publicly released yet and I had early access. I just really enjoyed this episode and my favorite character was amazing in it. There's so much I want to say but I can't yet!!
☾ I have a job interview on Tuesday! I already said this, but I'm just happy that I have a chance to get a job again. I'm honestly praying this goes well. I'm not the best at interviews.
☾ I found Dr. Pepper mini cans, and I picked some up! I didn't know even consider mini cans until recently, but I love their size. I can easily drink them in one sitting.
☾ I received a very nice message from @Mr_Keroppi and it made me smile.
