What Are You Happy About Today?

➣ I’m happy that I seem to be coming out of my shell. I’m usually not very touchy and avoid physical contact with people unless they are my favorite person. But for the first time, I felt comfortable enough to hug someone I’ve only known for five days. There are people I’ve known for years I can’t bring myself to hug, lol. I warmed up to her very quickly.
➣ I had an easy day at work. The morning was mostly dead. I even propped up my phone and was watching Haikyuu for a bit while running dish racks through the dishwasher.
➣ I dyed my hair again today. The color was fading and I’m happy it’s back to a prominent blue.

Today I'm happy because:

- I got to bed a little earlier and managed to wake up in time for work. My sleep schedule has been so out of wack lately.
- My husband was a sweetie and took my mom to her doctor's appointment so I could focus on work.
- I completed my most important work tasks today.
- The weather was nice and warm, but my heat resistant leggings kept me cool on our walk.
- I have a massage therapy session tomorrow.

I just got a job offer for a major gaming company I've liked since I was a kid here in Tokyo!!! Everything about it seems great and the timing is perfect.

I had my science final exam today, so I'm now officially done my science course. I have my math final tomorrow, and then I'm officially done all schoolwork!

I’m happy that today was another good day.

• I went to an interview today and it went fine! They said that they’re willing to take me in, but they also gave me a few days to make my own decision since I still have to wait for a follow up from another employer! I dunno, guys. Is my job search almost over?!?!? Because that would honestly make me so happy after dealing with defeat for the past couple of months.
• I went for a walk in the neighbourhood! It’s nice to get a bit of exercise as a result and even get a small soak of sunshine too.
• I played a bit of Tears of the Kingdom.
• I finally completed all the stuff I wanted to make on Inkscape.
• As a result, I played Gran Turismo 7 and completed another livery! I feel pretty happy with the outcome and it’s actually another recreation of a hotwheels toy that I have. Aside from recreating a livery, I did do a couple of online time trials and put in decent times.

This is a Chevrolet Corvette C6.R I completed today! Since the race version doesn't exist in Gran Turismo 7, I had to make do with it's road going counterpart. But hey, it still looks good!

This was completed last week, but it's a Chevrolet C8.R this time around. If you initially thought I did the same car, don't worry. My sister and mother thought the same as well when they saw those toy cars side by side lol.

Please don't mind the dust on top of them oops.

• I’m happy reading through soooo many good things from other people in this thread. I feel like June has been a great month for many!

- I spent time with the cats and Luna was purring when I petted her.
- Worked on a portrait drawing of my cousin.
- Watched some French programs online and one of my favorite musicians was invited as a guest for an interview about her upcoming album.
- Played AC: New Horizons in the afternoon. I recently bought a pair of sunglasses at Able Sister's and took a picture on Harv's island since my character resembles me irl. I don't mind posting a pic of my face here since I've got Snapchat filters.

- Read some books and the story is getting exciting.

What I'm happy about now is that I:

-Get to catch up in last weekend's Smash Bros. TBT friendlies. It's my first time playing the game with other tbt members. And it's fun, I hope I get to catch another ssbu tbt friendlies session sometime!

- Reached catalog level 53 in Splatoon 3, I've grinded levels so hard for the Cap'n Cap. I really love the hat design.

-Ive finally got myself another blue star fragment collectible for my current lineup and it looks amazing to look at!

For me, today the final groupings for internship were just released and I'm so happy I got to be with my close friends!! We had LOTS of ups and downs for the past year due to stress and workload but honestly I could count on them so much more than anyone else. I don't think I'd be able to get through last year without them and I'm so so happy I get to be with them again this year I wasn't expecting all 5 of us to be together, what were the odds!! I'm so scared for internship but at the same time being with people I absolutely trust puts me at ease. It's so nostalgic too because we were grouped together since first year and now we're going into our final year still together

Happy today because I finally beat my Pokémon Violet game. I also made some last minute changes to my characters, like my Mii character too and I'm now happy. I decided it's okay changing characters up a little bit, even if it's not the same thing you started with. Nothing is perfect. So I'm moving on with my games and I'm going to finish them.

Today I'm happy because:

- I saw Mortimer, the bat, last night.
- My husband was really sweet to me today.
- My uncle seems to be doing well but he still hasn't been moved to rehab yet. Hoping that will happen soon.

- The day is almost over. I'm home with a chance to rest for a few hours before bed.

☾ Had a long, busy day, but I was able to figure out what volume of the One Piece manga I'm on and start catching up again! I kinda fell behind on the English manga volume releases after we caught up with the anime, but I'd really like to keep up with both. I needed something to pass the time while we were driving today so it worked out nicely.
☾ I visited my grandparents and got some gorgeous photos of their kitty. He operates on a strict "look, don't touch" policy (even though he was my little snugglebug when he was a kitten </3) but he is extremely photogenic and was more than happy to pose for me

i’m so ready for bed right now haha, but i had another pretty good day today!

*⁀➷ my copy of story of seasons: a wonderful life came!! it was delivered while i was at my doctor’s appointment, so i got to start playing it when i got home! i’ve been playing it for most of the afternoon/evening, and i’m having fun with it! the angles are kind of wonky, and i have absolutely no idea what i’m doing since it’s been forever since i’ve played a story of seasons game lol, but i have a cow so nothing else matters lol but in all seriousness, i’m having fun! it’s a nice game so far

*⁀➷ speaking of my doctor’s appointment, it went well! my doctor was very nice and understanding about my mental health concerns, and she’s put me back on medication! :’) it’s one i’ve never taken before, so i’m a widdle nervous, but i’m hoping it’ll help!

*⁀➷ i went shopping with my mom after my appointment, and i was able to pick up a couple of treats for myself, as well as some makeup products i had my eye on! there’s still a few things i’d like to pick up, but i’m happy with what i got today!

Today has been pretty good.

- I finished all my work on time and even got recognized for my work contributions.

- My room is all clean again!

- Loved on my kitties some as well today.

- The Texas Rangers beat the Detroit Tigers 8-3! MAN did we need that one.

- All set for my vacation! Just around a week or two to go.

- I'm going on vacation for the first time since before the pandemic in a couple weeks, this time on my own!

Very nice! What kind of vacation are you taking?

-I returned from my vacation and it was nice. There were a lot of storms, but I worked around it and planned for it. I was able to go crabbing in my old dinky boat and caught a lot of crabs. Everyone said I wouldn't catch any because it wasn't in season, but I went out in the rain and caught a lot. It kind of reminded me of Forrest Gump when he caught a bunch of shrimp after the storm.

-I kayaked through a bunch of rough canals and that was fun even if the intense wind made it really hard. It gave me a workout.

-I still took time to exercise on the trip, rode my bike up steep paths, and went on some hiking trails. My boat's battery did die and so it was kind of hard having to string pull it every time it died. I should've just docked the boat and went to get a battery, but I wanted to fish and crab dang it lol.

-I just got back home not too long ago and I'm going to get into a few projects, play some games, and do whatever I want I go back to work next week. Hope you all had a pleasant weekend.
