What Are You Happy About Today?

- Just have work today and tomorrow and then I'm off for a three day weekend because I have Monday off! ANOTHER three day weekend!

- The Texas Rangers baseball team has started the season 35-20, which is the club's best record in franchise history through 55 games. They're off today, but I'm really looking forward to the series against the Seattle Mariners this weekend!

- I loved on my kitties some again today.

- Having some coffee and enjoying the nice weather outside.

* Because it is my birth month, which my birthday is June 9th
* Because it is pride month

- My brother got Golden Chick for lunch

- The housekeeper came today and the house is nice and clean. Plus, it feels nice that it is over with, since we gotta mostly stay in the bedrooms to be out of her way

*⁀➷ my mom and i saw two raccoons outside our apartment building early this morning!! we haven’t seen much wildlife around as of late (besides birds), so it was a lovely surprise to see them roaming around!! it was also ironic, since earlier in the day my mom told me that an irrational fear of hers is that a raccoon will climb up our building one night, land on our balcony, and claw its way in through the balcony screen door if she leaves it open LOL

*⁀➷ completed and handed in an assignment for one of my classes, and continued working on a couple of my culminating assignments! i haven’t felt very motivated academically this week with how hot it’s been, but i’ve only got 13 days of classes left; i can’t give up now!

*⁀➷ i also finally emailed my school’s administration about something i’ve been worried about for a while. i’m not sure what their answer will be, but i’m happy i finally got around to messaging them!

*⁀➷ my mom finally got an air conditioner installed in our living room! i’m happy that i have somewhere to hang out now whenever my room gets too hot

*⁀➷ i had a pretty nice counselling session today! i didn’t have much to talk about this week, but my counsellor has assigned me some homework. i’m nervous to complete it, but i know it’ll be good for me in the long run :’)

➣ I saw my favorite person today and felt so loved, as usual. She was getting kinda jealous over me accidentally bumping into one of the servers. It was cute seeing her get all possessive.
➣ I had some Chinese food today! I don’t like getting it too often since it can be pricey but I haven’t had it in a while. I wasn’t aware how appetizing Panda Express was!
➣ I picked up a giant blue raspberry flavored gummy snake! I’m cutting it into small pieces so I don’t have to bite into it. I definitely don’t feel comfortable ripping into it with my implants, lol.

➣ I’m happy that it’s June because it’s my first pride month out as transmasc. Also, my favorite person has been calling me my preferred name after asking if it’s okay! I love her.

oh yeah, some other good things that happened:

A friend (Ashton) had one of our mutual friends (Nuggz) do an art trade of me and him (Ashton) as mother and son <3333 and it came out so cute :,)

Speaking of Ashton, I got to meet his cousin, and he is really nice ^^

Today I'm happy because:

- The weather was nice all day. I got to wear my new leggings for our afternoon walk.
- I saw one of the bunnies hanging out in my backyard while I was working. I couldn't get a good enough look to tell which one it was.
- I had a good training session with my new backup at work. He picked up everything quickly and I feel confident letting him handle things while I'm out.
- I also got some good news on a coworker who is out for surgery. I didn't get any details, but they are expected to return in a few weeks so I assume that means the recovery is going well.
- I updated my avatar and lineup for June. Happy Pride Month everyone!
- Tomorrow is Friday and it's my last day of work before my week off!

☾ I trained my Pokémon HeartGold team some more! Got another of them up to level 80, so that's 5/6 to reach that milestone!
☾ I was gifted a couple of flower collectibles by @/Darkesque_!! ;v;
☾ I also got a little bit of reading in today!
☾ We found some of my old college school supplies! I'm gonna repurpose the spiral and composition notebooks, but since I don't really need or use three-ring binders anymore, we'll be giving those away. ^^
☾ My dad brought home a miniature iced snickerdoodle cake from school for us all to split, and oh my god it was so good. The portion size was perfect too—sugar makes me feel sick pretty easily, but by the time I'd felt like I'd had enough, it was gone ahaha.
☾ Watched a few short Youtube videos with my family!
☾ I was able to finish another rubber band bracelet and start on another!

-My mom is finally recovering from being at the hospital Im so happy! So relieved she pulled through

-Im one project away from being a certified Graphic Designer! The preasure and excitment is real!!

-I got an audition/opportunity to design the creepy/cringy websites for a game called *Welcome to the Game* Ohh boy. Im both excited and nervous.

-I finally got Bruce in Pocket Camp and really hopping Lopez is in it Cause I dont think Toby is, other wise id have everyone who's on my islsnd in the game (which was my goal)

-The fifth volume of one of my favorite manga came out and im so excited

happy friday my dear friends!! i hope you all have a lovely, restful weekend; make sure to take care of yourselves, and do at least one thing that makes you feel good

*⁀➷ as an early graduation present to myself, i finally preordered the story of seasons: a wonderful life remake coming out at the end of the month!! i’ve been so excited for this game ever since it was announced, i’m so happy i was able to preorder it! i can’t wait to finally play it! i am going to own so many cows

*⁀➷ the meeting i was supposed to have with one of my counsellors this afternoon was cancelled and rescheduled for monday! my counsellor is very nice, but friday meetings suck lol. i’m happy that i got to have the afternoon to myself!

*⁀➷ since i didn’t have my meeting this afternoon, i got to go out with my mom instead! we just ran errands and dropped something off at the vet’s, but i was able to pick up a few things i needed, and my mom treated me to a milkshake afterwards! the humidity nearly took me out lmao, but i’m happy i got to go out : )

*⁀➷ two of my three classes were asynchronous today, so my school day was pretty chill! my teacher whose class wasn’t asynchronous didn’t assign anything new today, so all i have to worry about this weekend are my culminating assignments!

*⁀➷ it’s finally friday!! i won’t have the entire weekend to relax since i’ve got culminating stuff to do, but i’m looking forward to getting to sleep in!

Nothing really exciting happened for me today, but I'm glad I get another three day weekend to relax.

What I'm mostly happy about is that I've been happier in general lately, over the past several weeks, and people around me have noticed. I've still had obstacles I've run into, but for the most part I've done pretty well at adjusting to them and being happy again. I'm definitely improving as a person.

➣ I saw my favorite person today and introduced her to my friend through facetime. I know she isn’t highly affectionate but I got a sweet “I love you” tonight. Her actions are enough to show she cares. <3
➣ I am excited about going to Golden Corral for breakfast tomorrow with my friend.
➣ I ordered a Bachira sticker, and it arrived in the mail today. To my surprise, a free Reo sticker was included along with a sketch. I thought I’d share my pronoun pin, as well, which is shown in the picture.

I've been away from here for a bit. Things have not been so good. Lots of stuff happened, but I'm drawing a blank on some of the better times right now lol. But that's enough about that.

-Some of the seeds from the prickly pears have finally started to sprout. They're tiny, but at least nurturing them was not a total bust. I'll probably have to keep them inside until they get large enough.

-I am in the process of expanding my gardens for a true asparagus and strawberry field. And yes, they do go so well together.

-I finally started to draw again. Even though it wasn't that much. I did get started again.

-Oh yeah I have been keeping up with my exercises. Not that it particularly makes me happy, but it's nice to stay healthy and keep on with it.

Pride month is back again so I'm crocheting something! Last year was as many pride flags as my yarn could allow, but this year will be an Aroace scarf since I'm aroace and will be a nice scarf for the winter! I learned a new stitch called the Chevron stitch, it looks like zigzags and its soo pretty! Maybe I'll post it here, cause I'm definitely happy about it so far!

Today I'm happy because:

- It's Friday! I had to work 2 hours of overtime but I completed everything and now I can enjoy my week off!
- I saw one of the bunnies and a groundhog in the backyard today. They were too far away for me to identify them.
- I saw some of the neighborhood cats and dogs on our afternoon walk.
- The weather has been sunny and warm. I wore my new cooling leggings and didn't feel sweaty when I got home.
- I had a chiropractor visit this afternoon and she praised me for sticking to my routine. Normally all the stress I've been under would have caused my back pain to flare up, but I'm just feeling really stiff. I believe that will pass now that I've finally got some time to detox.
- I get to sleep in, relax, play games, watch TV, and basically do whatever I want for the next full week!
- Tomorrow is my 17 year wedding anniversary with my husband!

☾ Today was wayyy too busy for my liking ahaha, but we got to donate a few boxes of stuff while out on errands! Not a full car load or anything this time, but it still feels nice to clear up some space. c:
☾ Got to chill out, watch some Youtube, and hang out with my mom after a long day!
☾ I played Stardew Valley for a little while!
☾ I also made several more rubber band bracelets! I was really flying through them today.

Here's what happened yesterday:
- Ate some yummy scrambled eggs for breakfast.
- Played some video games and I caught a shiny Indeedee (male) in Pokemon Scarlet.
- Played some mobile games and unlocked Jasmine in Pokemon Masters. I just wanted to play it since Adaman and Irida from PL: Arceus are available to scout.
- Watched a football match and I'm glad that the team I was rooting for won.

And here's a recap of what happened today:
- I ate some yummy noodles with ketchup for dinner.
- Watched some anime in the evening.
- Spent time with the cats and they were very cute and affectionate.
- Worked up a good sweat at home and did some upper and lower body exercises.
- Played AC: New Horizons and I convinced Judy to move to my island when I found her on a mystery island tour. She matches my island theme, so I can't wait to have her on my island!
