We finally found and signed the lease on an apartment in the area we're moving to next month. It's the biggest apartment I've lived in and I'm excited to move in, get settled, and decorate it.

• It was the other day, but I won the golden easter egg this year!!! I wasn't even expecting it at all but I'm super happy since I was so close to getting it in a previous year!!! also super happy the spring sakuras are back, it's one of my favorite collectibles. Hopefully I'm able to get the right lineup I want with my eggs..!
• It's my bf's birthday, we spent the day together (getting birthday freebies) and he liked the gifts I got him!!! His gifts were a XBC Mytha figure (his first scale figure!) + enamel pins
• It also happens to be our anniversary (2nd) so we went out to eat a nice dinner!! Food was yummy and there was a great atmosphere.
• There was a live piano player who played a few video game songs, so I asked if he knew any animal crossing music and he played the new horizons theme and kk bossa! :]

I’m feeling a little better than I was awhile ago when I posted in the bothering thread . I think even as I type this that my mood is picking up more.

I’m having a lot of fun in Genshin especially now that I have Neuvillette . I love his Japanese voice over so much. I really wish we could replay archon quests (just with no rewards except maybe material drops or have a special currency for replaying quests to redeem for materials or something (or ideally new items like more blueprints since we don’t have enough furniture options). I would’ve loved to play the Fontaine archon quest with him or when I get him, Wriothesley.

Spanky just chattered at me twice when I went over to her to pet her and talked to her.

Today both of them wanted some birds

I bought a cat collectible today and found out its previous owner was my friend @KittenNoir! Felt nice trading with tbt on here again too ; very grateful to @Jhine7 for the discount that was going on for it otherwise I wouldn’t have had enough .

Time to save up again (since now I’m broke lol); I might start saving up to buy some more collectibles . I’ve always been interested in investing in more collectibles, but never did for some reason. I saw there was another variation of the kitty collectible . Would love a full lineup eventually or at least one line of kitty collectibles .

• Since it was Easter Sunday, I didn't have any work which means I got to chill for the whole day!
• I played some more Parappa the Rapper 2. The cutscenes leading up to the third stage was so funny lol. Anyways, the song itself sounds sooooo groovy compared to the first two stages I completed so far.

Big (Stage 3) - Masaya Matsuura

• Did a bit of catching up on college work.
• I went for a car stroll with my mother and sister. Combined with the nice and sunny weather, it was a relaxing Sunday cruise. Heck, at one point, I was cruising for a couple of minutes straight with one green light after the other with few cars on the road.
• I cooked popcorn chicken for dinner. Yummy.
• I somehow managed to find a solo egg on my own! I felt so smart since my brain isn't that great at deciphering the clues.
• After not drawing anything since January, I finally got back into it and completed the piece as well! Skills have gone rusty, but I had fun regardless even though I ended up heading to sleep a little late in the evening oops.

April 1, 2024

• I finished classes from college early since it only lasted for a short time.
• I was greeted to some nice weather again! I took advantage of this by walking partway through on my way home.
• I found the old egg for the April Fools event lol.

April 2, 2024

• One of my classes in college was quite interesting. My classmates and I got to replace brake rotors and brake pads from a car! Work was split up between all of us who wanted to take part, so it felt fun hehehe. From my end, I had to push the pistons back into the calipers and installed a set of fresh new brake pads! The old pads were on the verge of wearing down completely which would eventually make metal to metal contact yikes.
• Continued to catch up on some college stuff.
• Played a bit of Parappa the Rapper 2.

April 3, 2024

• Feel free to skip this point. While I have already spotted this car numerous times, it still made me happy to see a red Chevrolet Corvette C6 on my way to college.
• I got to take apart and reassemble a transmission yet again with a group member! Apparently, it came from an Audi this time hehehe. Really liking the hands on stuff.
• I played quite a lot of Parappa the Rapper 2 this time around since I don't have any classes on Thursdays! It was entertaining playing versus mode against the computer hearing them trying to freestyle. And occasionally failing horribly lol. At one point, I somehow got 515 points!

Additional happies for today!

- Fed my kitties their special food, which they loved.

- The Texas Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 to take the series and improve to 4-2 on the season.

- The Dallas STARS defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-0 to record a new franchise record eight straight victories!! The Stars have outscored opponents 34-11 during this stretch and Oettinger has his 1st career back-to-back shutout games.

☾ The Los Angeles Kings won their most recent game. They also seem to be in a good position to secure the wild card spot like I had hoped. I wouldn’t be looking forward to an elimination by the Edmonton Oilers three years in a row.
☾ I’m getting paid today, technically. Once the clock hits midnight, my paycheck could appear in my bank account any moment.
☾ Keagan begging for food is the cutest thing ever. His hand always lifts up like this when he begs.

I'm still pretty exhausted from yesterday's trip and I think my sleep schedule as a result has... definitely seen better days oops but regardless I've got some nice things to talk about!
☾ I won another free character raffle on Toyhouse??? ;w; It’s a gorgeous design and I’m so excited to come up with stuff for her!!

☾ Speaking of, I’m also happy that I’m doing more creative stuff just for myself again!! For a long time, I got stuck in a really toxic mindset that any art or writing I did needed to be monetizable and whaddaya know all that did for me was kill my passion and make me create less lmao. I’m glad I’ve been working on breaking free of that and TBT has absolutely been a good influence on me there!!

☾ I got to play Cozy Grove again today and met Pandam!! I wound up buying a lot more from him than I initially planned because some of his dialogue was... more than a little concerning LOL. I am glad he’s also huggable even though he's not one of the spirits, because it really sounds like he needs it afjsklgjskl

☾ Watched some Youtube videos with my family this evening, including SmallishBean’s Real Life video! My mom and I also had a blast watching Markiplier play A Difficult Game About Climbing omg. I cannot wait for part three.

☾ And I visited a few more New Leaf dream addresses!! I’m really starting to feel the clock ticking so I’m trying to make the most of it before the servers shut down aaa ;u;

i got my intent to return form which means they're keeping me another year which means i'm officially tenured!!

• i hosted our math club all by myself (usually there's another teacher and the math coach in there to cohost with me but they were both out) ... idk it just makes me feel more "official" and important :')
• i had jersey mike's to eat when i got home and then took a nice nap that cleared my headache for the most part

Todd has had 4 injections so far for his FIP and is doing a lot better! Seems more himself, more alert, cleaning himself more and just generally in better health. I don't think we'll ever get used to giving injections though. Kudos to any vets because you have a hard job. The guilt I feel afterwards is horrendous, although the lick e lix treats seem to help him forget!

☾ It's been a while since I booted up Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but I did just that today. I decided to play some battles and later hopped in a race.
☾ I woke up from sleeping in, and was paid from my job. I ended up losing Sunday since we were closed for the holiday, but I ended up getting extra hours on other days to make up for it.
☾ I had a productive day and it's still rather early. I shared a plain burrito with Keagan, as well, which he loved. He also went for a walk despite him being scared of the boxer next door. He managed to tough it out. He's scared to even go to the bathroom sometimes, so going for this short walk was huge.
☾ My new pronoun pin and keychain arrived in the mail. I vibe so much with the aesthetic of this pronoun pin. The keychain isn't my picture since I'm away from my bag at the moment, but it's the same one. It's Barou, one of my favorite characters from Blue Lock. I've already received a compliment on him from somebody at Target.

Yeah I need to do that. We only have like 3 days left oof lol. There are so many of your guys DA I want to see before it's too late. I'm going to binge them on Saturday evening after I have off work. And that's a good mindset. I like writing and drawing, but I don't need it to be a career to enjoy it. It's just a hobby where I can do it when I want (or have the time) and with what. I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Been kind of a rough few weeks, but I decided to challenge myself with my drawings and did a traditional pencil/color pencil piece. Because of my work/life schedule it was a bit of a on and off project that took a bit of time. To my standards, I think it turned out pretty good. So that's enough of a win in my opinion.

The April Fools event was a lot of fun to. Wish I could had participated more, but that's just how things are sometimes.

Today has been pretty good; my mood is good but it’s weighed down heavily by my depression and feels like any minute I’ll have a mood swing.

I’m playing Genshin right now and found another remarkable chest; I thought I found them all since I used a guide but I guess the guide doesn’t cover the ones locked behind a puzzle. The blueprint isn’t one I’ll use probably but it’s nice to have since in case I want to try something with it .

Still enjoying Neuvillette; can’t get over how happy I am that I have him ☺. I wasn’t able to max out his talents yet though and have to wait a couple more days for the trounce domains to reset, which is a bit annoying, but am still enjoying him as he is. I was able to level up his talents significantly enough . Even if the cooldown on the domains was shorter, I’d still need to wait to max all his talents since I don’t have all the talent books I need and I’m short on mora (first time in a long time ).

I’m 88% done with the first set of achievements for Fontaine and 93% done with the the third set . I love Fontaine; the music is really relaxing and great; I don’t like the underwater music and some other areas but a decent portion of Fontaine’s soundtrack I like . I hope some more of the tracks can be collected for the teapot and maybe an option to make a playlist.

My kitties ofc made me happy. Just the usual: Spanky chattering when I talk to her or approach her, both of them looking at the air conditioner because of the birds and them playing together, and other silly things. It’s hard to not laugh seeing them being kittens . I got both my girls in my room now; I had to get Spanky from my dad’s room though (yes i get jealous when Spanky in particular is in a room other than my room ).

• Did even more cute art these past couple of days! Makes me so happy to draw for others
• Our backyard is looking more and more green by the day
• The other night I went out to throw away the garbage and spotted a bun bun doing some night time exploring of its own. It was the cutest and most random thing ever! *Gasp!!* Could it have been the legendary Moon Rabbit??
• The Bell Tree always blooms into its beautiful cherry blossom form on the forum banner around this time of year, and that always puts me in a happy mood in fact, I switched over to my Princess Peach Blossom aesthetic for that very reason. It's one of my absolute favorites~
• Had some Popeye's for the first time in months today, yummy in my tummy! I order their mango lemonade every time (either frozen or over ice, I enjoy both)
• I completed a trade in New Leaf as a final goodbye of sorts before online services shut down for good. I can't even remember how long it's been since I've traded with someone there, and wow, it was so much faster and smoother than it is to trade in New Horizons. The load times, man what a difference. It takes a million years for anything to load in New Horizons, and Porter gets straight to the point and opens the gate right away whereas Orville asks so many damn questions and never shuts up. Even Animal Crossing on the GameCube loads way faster, even Pikmin 1 and 2 compared to Pikmin 4 load times.

I finally got Lopez to request a Stonehenge PWP in my New Leaf town It took me a few weeks but getting the Stonehenge was one of the last big things I wanted to accomplish for my town and I'm happy to finally have it! I also played through the Bunny Day event in New Leaf and got to enjoy the cherry blossoms in game a little bit.

IRL I made myself a lemon blueberry loaf yesterday and today I finally got to sample some: so yummy! I wish it was a little more lemony but it's still good

Today was a great day!

- Got up early and was productive at work.

- Went to the gym and did a pulls day, working on my upper body.

- Came home and fed my kitties their special food. They kept meowing at me! I couldn't get away until they were fed.

- Going to play some video games tonight.

- The Dallas MAVERICKS just defeated the Atlanta Hawks 109-95!! Because of this they'll at least stay in the 5th seed in the NBA Western Conference for now.
