Wow, pretty awesome cookie results! I generally don’t like to buy cookies because I never seem to do well. But with the new cookies for April I couldn’t resist. I got sooo many repeats of the 3 star items even ones the cookies we got in the gardening event. I bought way more than I normally would. So, lol I’m like nope! Not buying any more.I’ve been really depressed today but this April’s fool’s event really is cheering me up a lot. Took all day and night my mood to pick up, but I’m finally feeling a bit more of myself. The splat sound is so funny lol. I didn’t think I’d chat much during the event but I’m starting to feel a little comfortable. Most of my friends are on different teams, but it still has been a lot of fun exchanging words and pelting them with chocolate ice cream lol.
I’m still really enjoying the pocket camp event; I love seeing Katie in the game. Here are some of my goodies that I got from fortune cookies:

I made a silly Zipper outfit in pocket camp that I like even though I think the yellow of zipper’s head doesn’t go perfectly with the dress. I dressed up Punchy in a Zipper shirt and hat too

. You should see how much doubles I got from Ed’s set in particular. I don’t want to spend as much tokens as I did for them again About today’s, I got everything now except the moon bed and five star item, plus a lot of dupes. I probably should be more conservative with my tokens

Had a really nice day today. My friend and I did a local hike up to a tower and had a picnic at the top. It was super windy but we managed to find a calm spot sitting next to the tower on a rock Lunch was really good, he brought along some excellent homemade brownies 
I am trying to get my endurance and hiking experience up before I go to the Alps later this year...
The weather here has just been incredible, and set to stay that way for a while
Had a doctor's phone appointment for something super minor and got an appointment for next week. At least now that I'm not working I have time during the day for appointments
Also been chatting to a friend I have from China a lot recently! One of the reasons I love travel is to make friends from all around the world
Lunch was really good, he brought along some excellent homemade brownies I am trying to get my endurance and hiking experience up before I go to the Alps later this year...The weather here has just been incredible, and set to stay that way for a while

I got a lot done at work today and the person I have the most issues with actually complimented my work ethic. Feels nice to be seen!
Left early for a nurse appointment to get my quarterly injections. Ouch. But it's done and now I won't need to worry about them until July. One is really bothering me now. A day or so of pain every three months is better than being too sick to work though.
Picked up a couple beers for tonight. I can't remember the last time I drank beer - more of a wine person.
Did some housework when I got in just to get it over and done with then soaked in a bubble bath for an hour and a half while singing along to upbeat music. Looking forward to a good evening.

- Another lovely morning walk with Blossom. The sunrise has been stunning everyday since Tuesday. Also, beautiful sunny days, albeit a little too hot for me!
- It was Buck’s Birthday in Animal Crossing. Played New Horizons and New Leaf. I will need to try and get Buck in City Folk and Wild World for next year!
- My Sir Elton John and Brandi Carlile new albums arrived today ‘Who Believes in Angels’. I got an Amazon Exclusive Edition, the regular edition and a Limited Edition CD. The limited edition one was very impressive: a coloured booklet, polaroid style photos, an Elton and Brandi sew on patch and a bonus DVD. It’s not going to be my favourite Elton album as I’m biased towards solo Elton albums! However, there was one song he did sing himself which was great. I did get Blossom some treats too, one of her favourites, Sushi Bites!
- Requested an invite to pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World. Hopefully, I can get one on release day.

☾ Watched Grian's new Hermitcraft episode, along with a few other short videos, with my parents this evening and really enjoyed it! The melon party nearly killed me 
☾ I've had some extra spending money lately, so I treated myself to a few small things off my wishlist! I'm also going to keep a bit set aside in case something really grabs me.

♡ I was able to purchase the New Leaf 3DS XL the other day! I'm so excited to receive it! I also got a few 3DS games off of Mercari that I'm excited to get :3 Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Disney Magical World, and Pokémon Sun!
♡ I got my little cheat meal today :3 McDonalds! I got a double cheeseburger with extra pickle and a medium fry. And a Dr. Pepper! ^_^ I also bought some snacks last night at the gas station. I've been looking for the peach flavored peely gummies for EVER and I finally found them!
♡ I was able to charge my original 3DS and restarted my save file on AC:NL. I am Mayor Mimi of Affogato :3 I was trying to think of coffee inspired names so.. I chose Affogato~ It's like an Italian dessert with coffee, if I'm remembering correctly. I got Flora, Roscoe, Cole, Flip, and Alli as my starting villagers. Really happy to see Flora and Roscoe. Roscoe used to be one of my favorites when I was younger. :3
♡ I'm gonna restart my Pokémon X save, too, so I can start from the beginning and relive my childhood nostalgic feels xD I'm also excited to play Pokémon Sun again. I remember doing one of the shiny hunting methods for a shiny Bounsweet on PKMN Moon once. It was the retreat method iirc? But it was sooo exhausting.. and I never ended up getting the shiny Bounsweet T^T
♡ I'm probably going to be seeing my sister, @Azzy this upcoming weekend.. I haven't seen her in so long, so I'm looking forward to it :3 Even if we just parallel play the entire time, that's fine with me. That's my favorite thing to do as an ND person. I just like doing my own thing with my favorite people while they do their own thing xD
♡ I'm happy because I was able to get the max amount of Ice Cream Coins. I got a Popsicle and 2 Ice Cream Swirls.. I will hold onto these xD These are two of my favorite collectibles. I've owned them before, but I don't think there was ever a 'rerun' for them since after I joined.. So I'm happy to have them now! ^_^

I finished my first Sonic Game. (Sonic Colors Ultimate).
- my son is addicted to cars especially disney cars diecasts...and now he's got me semi addicted into collecting them (mostly for him for later since he's still little and prone to losing them lol) so I ordered a handful of new diecasts
- ordered myself some new tshirts as well
- going to make thit kho today
- put money in savings and the kid's savings which always feels good as I never had parents that saved or help us save growing up..it's little things like that that make me grateful/feel blessed. I try to save a set amount for them each month for what I calculate it to be by the time they are 18; I hope it'll help in some way though I don't know that I'll give it right at 18 depending how mature/conscious with money they are

- Got up early and got some chores done so I could enjoy the rest of the day.
- I gave Blossom a trim. I really wanted to take her to a professional groomer, but I contacted several of them. Some of them didn’t return my messages, others weren’t taking on new clients and one told me there wasn’t such a dog as a ‘long haired Basset’!
I politely asked them to look on the internet and they would see they do exist. However, they still didn’t sound convinced and I doubt they even searched! It was maybe just aswell they weren't keen as I’m not sure I would want someone grooming her that dismissed ‘long haired Bassets’. She sat as good as gold and was rewarded with some doggy chocolate. Her paw/pad trimmer arrived, and she even let me trim her fur around her paws. I’ve only trimmed her paw fur with small scissors before so it was never as tidy as I would have liked, but the trimmer is a godsend. It makes an awkward task so much easier and safer, plus it’s got an inbuilt light. - Played some ‘Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games - Tokyo 2020’. I managed to beat a few of my own records and the CPU records in Archery, Equestrian and Gymnastics! I was playing on Normal level, but still happy to achieve some new records! I forgot how fun the mini games were too. I’ve forgotten the correct names, but I enjoyed finding the different Toads, Sonic chasing Robotnik and Mario in the Museum! Also, played ‘Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit’. I love driving/racing games so I really enjoyed getting back into that.
- Also, managed to catch up with my diary, draft a letter to someone and write a few lists.
I am happy because today was the start of vacation and it was a really nice day. Had a nice morning walk with Aurora.
Was able to go to my nieces volleyball game. They lost the first set but had made a great comeback and only lost that set by two. They won the second set and also the tiebreaker. So happy they won.
We stopped at a car show on the way back. It was really nice to see all the cars and be outside on such a nice day.
Had a nice relaxing afternoon working on a puzzle , playing some ACNH and Pokemon Violet. Caught a shiny Electabuzz . Had a nice evening walk with Aurora. Had fun playing among us with everyone . Even though I got imposter twice at the end lol.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. So happy to be off tomorrow.

- omg though there was this tiny little girl who was trying on these sneakers and fell in love with them but refused to take them off so the poor mom had to wrangle one shoe off for me to scan and take the censor off

I haven't posted here in over a week, but there were some things here and there that made me happy. I don't remember exactly when they happened, so excuse me for clumping quick points together oops.

What happened in the past week
- I finished work early one day, so I went for a lengthy walk!
- During my day off on Tuesday, I went to Burger King with my mother and sister early in the morning to have breakfast. I know it's such an unusual place to eat breakfast, but their pancakes and hashbrowns were quite delicious! Did I also mention that the sun rising was a sight to behold?
- The hybrid flower breeding event! I mainly focused on trying to get a blue Sakura and I spawned not one, but two of them!
Oh, I also managed to get a purple and a pink hyacinth on the way hehehe. - The April Fools event gave me a bit of a chuckle even though I didn't get to participate much. Strawberry was too powerful to fight back against, so no chocolate
poopice cream collectible rip. Regardless, it was fun while it lasted and also inspired me to create a quick drawing to use as a signature! - I watched the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct! Aside from a few things, I'm happy that Deltarune will finally be releasing chapter 3 and 4 in June. I haven't touched the game in a few years ever since I completed chapter 2.
- I cooked spaghetti!
- Work went okay and I got to finish slightly earlier than usual.
- Feel free to skip this point. I saw two interesting cars again after a very long time. They were the Nissan Figaro and the classic MINI Cooper! I'm really surprised by the former because it dropped by at my workplace briefly before leaving.
- I bought pizza for dinner and had some fries on the side!
- I played Among Us this evening. I only managed to get in a few rounds and was really thrown off by the fact that The Skeld map is mirrored for the next few days as an April Fools joke lol.
Ooooh, those are some nice pictures of different generations of the Chevrolet Corvette, azurill! You should definitely show these to @/LadyDestani as I know for a fact that she's a huge fan of Corvettes.
