What Are You Happy About Today?

Happy today because I got up early for work and was super productive, and had more good laughs while there. I also decided to take tomorrow off, so I'm looking forward to sleeping in a bit and pulling Evelyn in Zenless Zone Zero. I gave my kitty some kisses and snuggles earlier, which she appreciated. Hope everyone had an amazing Tuesday!

the ps vita i ordered came wayyyyy earlier than expected I'm so happy it's so cute I've never owned a PlayStation device before its my new babyyyy

I just wish it didn't take forever to download stuff but it might be my wifis fault LOL and since it came way earlier than expected I'm still waiting for my grips and case to come lmao... but I'm so excited to try some games I've been wanting to play for so long and portably!!!

i had another cash office shift today and there were no mistakes !!!! after my break, i finished the rest of my shift at cash but man was the store super busy today ٩(๑`^´๑)۶ the line was simply never not long
i managed to clean up my station and clock out on time ♩¨̮(ง ˙˘˙ )ว♩¨̮ i even managed to walk around the mall for a little bit while waiting for my dad to come pick me up, one of the stores i went into actually had one of my old coworkers/friends !!!! that was a fun surprise hehe

once i got back, the strawberry sponge cake was made! the strawberries were sadly tart but it's okay, the whipped cream balanced it out (to be completely honest, i'm not gonna be the one eating it since i hate whipped cream askenfkngjr)

- I went to uni today and ate a yummy hamburger from the cafeteria.
- Worked on a drawing in graphite and started shading the skin more.
- Studied and finished a lot of homework.
- Watched the new Pokemon Horizons anime on Netflix and adored the episodes.
- I admired the entries for the Valentine's Party that inspired me. Maybe I'll post something on that thread soon.

Made it through another night of working outside in snowy weather in the single digits (Fahrenheit). It's supposed to be colder tomorrow, so... more thermals!

I am happy I have a job, no matter how miserable at times. And I am happy I have the clothing to keep me warm. That hasn't always been the case.

• I had bubble tea last night! It was so good. The one pictured on the left is brown sugar tea flavor with regular boba and the one on the right is coconut with popping mango boba
• Resubscribed to Netflix so I can continue watching Supernatural
• Today I have art group, glad to go back. I missed it last week because I wasn't able to go due to all the ice outside (I walk)
• I also have an appointment with my primary today to discuss my vitamin D levels. They're up to 20 from the last time when they were at 9, since starting the vitamin D supplement. He's probably just gonna reassess again in 3 months
• I scheduled my next dental cleaning and my eye exam, both are in the first week of March

A very chill, relaxing birthday post from yesterday~

Chill time at work, my mum even came and helped set up for me, had less customers as per usual. When two coworkers found out it was my birthday they sung happy birthday to me XD before my shift was over.

Opened all my lovely presents, from my mum, sister and family friends. Family friends who has known me since I was born. They sent me a voice message before work to wish and also sing me happy birthday~

Most of my gifts I knew I was getting new clothing, new handbag and purse my old ones were tearing and a tiny mannequin for drawing. Got some nice purfume, slipper boots and a DIY mini cafe from my family friends! This DIY was such a surprise, I knew i was getting one from my sister as she asked me what I'd like, but they also got me one was amazing! They also got me a book gift card! My sister also got me a new monster high doll! One of the characters I wanted~

I played animal crossing, and had my mum watch me play, as I showed her what the villagers do on your birthday and the rest of my island. Mainly the muesuem.

Went out for a lovely snack lunch. Round the corner from us, does some lovely chinese food and they also do bubble tea and waffles. I didn't get much of a chance to try and waffles today, as the owners were nice enough to give me and my mum both a free cupcake to eat after our food! (Been here once before for my birthday, maybe they remembered?)

Coming back home, I set up my switch to the bigger TV in the living room so I can play What Remains of Edith Finch, which I played and my mum watched, as I knew she would be really interested. We got about to the first save point of Molly's room, so hopefully have time to play more another day, before my mum had to go to work.

Played the Last Campfire, before having a lil nap.
My sister ordered us Chinese takeaway for dinner, and watched a good ol film called Small Soldiers.

Funnily enough, I did used to have a Major Chip Hazard action figure as a child, but alas my cats peed on it ;_;
Afterwards, we had cake!

Happy today because it's my day off and I finished everything in Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero for now, so now I'm just waiting for the Wuthering Waves update to arrive. This morning my family left a sugar brownie out for me that another family member made, and it was sooooo good. I also just realized that I really love all of my current online friends and talking to them. They make me super duper happy. Headed to martial arts for the first time in awhile tonight as well. Today has been rough, but there are a couple things that I’m happy about.

Last night I finally got a unit that I wanted in Fire Emblem Heroes. I wanted to get all of the characters but I think I’m happy with just getting the one I wanted first and when it returns I’ll try again, unless there is a different banner I want to pull on .

My mood is starting to pick up a little. I’m still extremely stressed and anxious about some stuff but I’m starting to feel better in some way. My sister and her family is coming over tomorrow for dinner; I was worried about missing out on some Among Us sessions before I knew what day they were coming but I’m happy it won’t interfere with them after all . I’ve been really looking forward to them. I’m especially excited for classic mode; I’m hoping my crewmate curse is passed to @BetsySundrop and her imposter curse is passed to me .

My mom made rice noodles for me that were really good .

I'm very pleased to say after 10 years of driving and having my learner's permit. I have PASSED my Driving Test and gotten my offical Driver's License. This is a huge weight lifted off my shoulder!

It was a lot of fun to do and they’re really good ;w; It wasn’t a huge batch and I’m sharing them with my parents, so even with the Valentine’s sweets I already have, I don’t think it’ll be too much! I can only really handle sweets in small amounts... all the treats I got for Christmas lasted me until earlier this month LMAO

☾ Also made my entry for the 3D crafts category in Valentine’s Party this evening! I’ve often thought honeycomb balls were really cute décor, so it was interesting finding out how to make them!! I've got the little heart I made hanging up right now in fact!

☾ My mom and I also watched some livestream VODs while I was working on event stuff hehe

today (well at the time i’m writing it, it was yesterday) is the lantern festival so we made tangyuan to have then later on in the day, my aunt walked over and brought her own tangyuan for us askfnkskfken

my dad and i went to the dealership because we got a letter in the mail about a recall for this part that they have to order in. it took some time for the people at the front desk to create an account for us so we took that time to just walk around their showroom which was nice, we judged a few cars hehe
oh and most importantly my dad got a free cup of coffee for the ride back pfff

after dinner my sister and i made the chocolate cake i wanted!!! since she had some whipped cream left from the strawberry shortcake from yesterday, tried reusing that on the cake. it was a sort of success, it never truly stiffened but we got it to work out in the end and the cake tastes great overall so that’s all that matters

i got to play infinity nikki and made a lot of progress !! it’s still early game for me but i did a bunch of exploring, progress in the story, and levelled up which is always nice
oh speaking about games, my sister got me into pikmin bloom and all she ever wants from me now is to go on and help her defeat mushrooms

Happy today because I handled something important at work and aced it once again, and got compliments on how well I did with it. Been having a lot of laughs and good times while there too. Also played my games some more and was elated to get Fischl's anecdote in Genshin Impact today, as well as find out she's the weekly challenge for me in Genius Invokation TCG. I'm also only two boss materials away from triple-crowning Mavuika, which I'll be able to do Monday, and close to getting her namecard too. I also found out I'm off work Monday because of a holiday as well. It's cold outside, but was sunny earlier when I went out, which I appreciated. Looking forward to getting paid tomorrow and having an extended weekend. Hope everyone has had a great Thursday so far!

I’m still feeling like I have no energy and am a little down still; but I’m doing a bit better . I got an idea for a 2d valentine’s party entry and started working on it last night. I’m really happy how it looks right now. I didn’t think I’d have the energy to try to make something, but I have just enough. I think I’m at the point now where I know I’ll be able to finish this and won’t scrap it because it looks bad.

Jewels fell asleep earlier snuggling under the blankets with me; I did have to take her out of my room for the second time earlier though since once she woke up she kept whining while I was trying to sleep and wanted to knock stuff down .

Spanky is sleeping in her little bee tent right now . I’m so happy she’s been using the little bee tent so much and sleeping in it.

That’s it for now! I’m hoping to get most of my drawing done today and finish it maybe tomorrow so I can get back working on a drawing that I owe a friend.

It’s been a good day . Had an early short shift at work and got a lot done. Got some errands done this afternoon.

Spent the afternoon and evening working on my Valentines event entries. Had a lot of fun making them and think they came out pretty good.

Since I have to work all day tomorrow me and my mom swapped Valentines cards and gifts today. I got her a new puzzle and some chocolate. She got me some chocolate and a new book.

Excited to have both Saturday and Sunday off this weekend. Looking forward to playing among us. Just one more 12 hour shift.
