I'm having trouble thinking of something to do for today's visual cheer so I wanted to make sure to get today's haiku submitted.

Grinches and grouches
Can't help but cheer us proudly
Froggy chairs, hooray!

(in which I try to incorporate some traditional elements, such as a kigo and kireji (which is iffy at best in English, tho) - hope I did not consequently mess up the form - adding this just for any other poetry nerds out there)

Wisteria waves
How they roll in like the tide —
Never low for long

bloom on, bellflowers
there is magic in the air
and in our hearts, too

My daily routine:
Wake up, check for points update
Hope that purp is 1st

The end

a tiny creature rests amidst a garden of bellflowers,
her lungs filled with petals and leaves
in the silence of the night we bloom together,
her purr in the background of every haiku and every livestream

she cheers for us from her quiet sanctuary
with her floral heart and bellflower veins
she sleeps through the lags, shuts her eyes at my obstacle course loss
and watches as @Vrisnem gets bullied in every game

my fingers have fumbled to make art for days
before deciding that i would draw her next
further proving my point that i have the artistic skills of a toddler,
she wasn’t at all impressed

it’s a miracle that i at least have bellflower spirit
as i obviously can’t draw a cat
she stares in shock for what feels like hours
before finally saying, “...what the hell is that?”
