This week was Porter's turn to choose the boardgame, so none us us were surprised when he picked Ticket to Ride!

• Porter is, of course, being an efficient train conductor and making sure to fill out his routes as efficiently (and as quickly) as possible!
• Kicks is most concerned about hitting the major cities to share his new fashion stylings
• Llarry (the llama) keeps trying to peek at my cards
• Lastly, poor Molly (the dog) is colour blind and so can't distinguish her cards

Seems like board games are a popular activity here on TBT, which is good because board games are awesome! In my photo I'm teaching my furry friends how to play Forbidden Island. It seemed appropriate to play an island-themed cooperative game. (Though this island will sink if we don't succeed in getting the treasure in time, and the helicopter rescue service is not guaranteed!) We have other games stacked up to play (in the background), including Jumanji, another animal-themed game I thought they would enjoy.

Our sleepovers are always chalk-full of fun!

Ever since I was a little girl, drawing with chalk is something my friends and I always did during sleepovers before it got too dark outside ❤

This time, Mushu, Chonky Cat, Eevee, my cat, and I got together to draw some fun! In this picture: Eevee is in the middle of trying to figure out how to play hopscotch with 4 legs, Mushu is perfecting his self-portrait, Chonky Cat is trying to match the theme of the fair by drawing a sheep, I'm in line for hopscotch giving a thumbs up for the photo, and my cat drew a pawprint (in reality she rolled in the art and got bribed with snacks to stay in the picture). We're going to have a wonderful party!
