I don’t think I have ever met someone as un bee lievably kind Penn, you are just the best

I tried drawing a bee but it’s a total mess will try and make it better but you might have to make do with a rubbish bee punny

Thinking about hammers reminded me of a childhood toy. I was so young but remember having such fun hammering in the blocks in a toy like this mine was actual wood that my dad had made for me. So lovely to have a chance to remember him ❤

Bee fact day 2, guess 1:

Fermented honey, known as Mead, is the most ancient fermented beverage. The term “honey moon” originated with the Norse practice of consuming large quantities of Mead during the first month of a marriage. (Totally did not know that was the origin of "honeymoon"! How cool!)

Bee fact day 2, guess 2:

Bees maintain a temperature of 92-93 degrees Fahrenheit in their central brood nest regardless of whether the outside temperature is 110 or -40 degrees.

I was thinking about how to draw my bee, and I started thinking about what flowers bees like. Then I started thinking, you know how some florists sell edible arrangements (like a bouquet of chocolates)? Well, a bouquet of flowers for a bee would be both a flower arrangement and an edible arrangement!

Anyway, what I‘ve ended up drawing is a little bee lady, and she’s received a bouquet of her favourite flowers (sunflowers and lavender).

Ok hammering is actually terrifying. I was in industrial class, hammering away like a boss. My friend asked me if I could hammer their nails in (they couldn’t do it well) so I tried, all confident. And then I flattened the nail. Flattened. I thought I was good and then I wasn’t. So now I do not do industrial tech D:

Couldn’t resist trying to draw a little bee. This has taken me more time than I will admit to I wanted to attempt flowers so there was no other option than to try and draw a bellflower.

i actually meant to have this done yesterday, but better late than never ig.

thanks to some of my friends occasionally talking about them, i’ve been wanting to start collecting squishmallows for a while now, and was able to finally kickstart my collection last weekend! i only have 5 so far, but i’ve decided that i’d like to draw them along with any future ones that i get, and this gave me the kick in the butt that i needed to get started!

please forgive how last minute these are - my brain didn’t feel like being creative until 1am LOL.

i’m not sure if this’ll count as an entry or not (it’s fine either way; i had fun making it!), but in honour of it officially being spooky season, i decided to draw cornimer with a toy hammer! homeboy would absolutely smash anything and everything that isn’t an acorn.

i also drew flick encountering a lil bee!
