While I wasn't expecting this, I can't really say I'm that excited for it. It's great that there's so many that are excited and ready to jump back in. But some of it is stuff that was possible in previous games. And no multiplayer is really disheartening.
It's great they found a solution to those that want more than 1 island that isn't just 'buy an entire new console.' I don't think it should had taken them 5 years to get to that point though. Bulk crafting is great. Hopefully they have it where you can pull from resources in storage and pockets to.
The new line of furniture is fun. It looks like Zelda is based on Botw instead of all Zelda so I hope there's a bit variety. And the resort looks fun. I remember suggesting the idea of a hotel where villagers could visit your town/island for the day and then leave. I don't know if they're stuck to just staying in the room, but it would be nice if they could walk around the actual island.
