I think there is a high chance that some of the changes/updates are not in the trailer. I wouldn’t be surprised if mini games do end up appearing, or that blank spot across from the cafe gets utilized, etc. But we’ll just have to see. But since literally anything they added is more than anyone expected at this point, I am happy for whatever comes our way

Some very nice QoL additions here. It's nice to finally have a way to easily remove flowers and we now have bulk crafting.
Although, seeing this announced now and coming in 2026 pretty much all but confirms we're not seeing the next title in the series next year. Might not even happen in 2027 now.

I'm very positive they will add more dialogue. I'm fairly certain they added diaogue after 2.0 and that wasn't highlighted.

Yes, I believe so. Plus you can co-decorate them with online friends. I think it’s a great way to give us the option of having a new island without resetting (and hopefully we can also invite non-residents so it’s fully a second/third/fourth island)

Yes. We are all getting the update. The only thing we Switch 1 owners won't get are the Megaphone (lack of mic), some graphics enhancements, Switch mouse functionally, Switch 2's camera feature and I believe 12 players could play with you now????.

I’m definitely going to be using Resetti to get rid of the excess flowers I have a lot. I like how there’s a much easier way to get rid of unwanted flowers. That has been my biggest complaint since those things spread so quickly in a manager of a couple days. I just gave up trying to fight them. Oh okay thank you. I don't really play with people much anyways. graphic enhancement was a given. Yeah the megaphone would have been a useful item, but it's not something I have to have. Thanks for anwsering.
Wow, this is quite a lot of new content completely free! Some of it I won’t use, like a lot of the multiplayer features, and while I like the slumber island idea, I have other games to play and probably won’t design additional islands on top of my main one. The hotel looks super cool though! I will definitely open my game back up to check it out.
As others have mentioned, while I love that we are getting more gameplay, this does make me think that we won’t be seeing a new animal crossing game any time soon. So that’s a little disappointing. Still, I suspected that either way, so an update is better than nothing! It is heartening to see Nintendo giving away nearly all these things instead of upcharging for all their new content.
