Monique just moved in to Del Taco and I am not a fan. Is there any thing that I can do to get her to move away sooner?

Nope. You're gonna have to wait it out until the game decides its time for a villager to proceed into the move out phase and hope its Monique.

From my experience completely ignoring them helps move them out faster. I never talked to Apollo and he pinged to move out as soon as Olivia moved in, whereas my past villagers who moved out i talked to a lot and none pinged to move as fast as Apollo did

Maybe it was just luck or chance that it happened for me but ive heard others say that ignoring them gets them out faster as well

Ignoring them, befriending them, or harassing them has no effect. It is completely random when they will move out. Just introduce yourself to her, you can't do anything else.

Hopefully she is not your 10th, as it's believed to be more difficult to get the 10th one to move.
You might have to move someone else out first before they would consider moving.

That said, here's a very handy & helpful guide to help you with your situation there:

Good luck & have fun! C:

Thank you! She was my 9th, but I do have a 10th now. Is that going to be a problem? I just think she's awful.

Thank you so much! I will try these tips. :)

As long as she's not your most recent villager, you should have chance. While it is random, I too like to at least try, but I heard ignoring is the way to go. However, still walk near them, because they have to be able to ping you to move!

Thank you, NyanMeow! :)

Aw man, I wish there was a way to get new villagers out. It took me a month to get freakin Marshal out (that squirrel is cursed btw). The best way to get a new villager out is to talk to them ONCE to introduce yourself and then never talk to them again unless they ping you.

Wait, what? You meant I spent all that time beating certain people with my bug net for nothing? D:

ignoring them as no effect, I have noticed that villagers you have a higher friend ship with will ask to move out more.. but hey, that always works for me ~
