How do you design your rooms?

Mine is a cozy cabin home with lots of plants and green. I included green in every room's color scheme to tie the whole house together.

For my mayor's house, I'm planning a lot of pink and a lot of sushi, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc. My favorite furniture theme that I've used since the GC is the fruit theme C:
I made a second character specifically for more gothic & horror furniture I like so it's a haunted house in some secluded woods haha
I've been debating making a third character to be Phoenix Wright because I love that series and already have seen items perfect for an imitation court room and it'd be a perfect "law office" in my town xD

I make my upstairs a fully liveable apartment, so I have a real house. Then I get creative with the rest. I have things like a cruise ship deck and a nautical themed cozy hangout basement to a natural history and Les Mis?rables themed study! Haha.

I design room like real life, for me it makes the game a little bit more realistic
