Is it hard to move villagers out?

So have 7 villagers now, and i actually really hate 5 of them, and invited the other 2 so that i had some semi tolerable villagers for the moment. I already moved invited my camper and the res service building. when i start getting villagers i actually want, is it hard to kick out all these other ones?

Yes, it's very hard..

Take it from someone who has travelled to the year 2040. I've had two stubborn villagers take 25+ years to move out, but most move out after a few months to a year

yea unfortunately it seems like moving villagers out compared to New Leaf is way more difficult, its a bit more frustrating.
