Today has been okay; it could have been better but wasn’t bad at all.

I had a nice chat with Bugs @xSuperMario64x; thanks so much again for listening . It has been nice to chat with him more lately when I can .

I got this one part of my drawing done that I was not looking forward to doing . I got to do the background, add on some small details, touch up on some colors/shading, finish one part of the right wing and then I should be done for this version of the egg collectible idea.

My dad brought home some chicken samosas for me from the mediterranean shop. They were so delicious!

My dad had work today so he was out of our hair (my mom and I) for most of the day.

☾ Finished the art project I was working on last week!!

☾ We got some strawberries directly from a farm stand and they’re suuuuper good ;v; The whole car smelled like strawberries afterwards. We also got a food dehydrator recently and we’re going to try to dehydrate some!! Also just generally excited for all the things that you can make with a dehydrator… like I could make homemade tea leaves…

☾ Been listening to/half-watching some livestream VODs while doing other things and have been enjoying those, and my parents and I watched some Youtube videos together this evening too!

☾ I made another rubber band bracelet!

☾ My taxes were approved and the money deposited into my bank account this morning! I didn’t get anything back last year, so it was nice to receive this time around.
☾ I made an art piece I’m somewhat proud of! It was my first time doing anything like it so it made me happy!

I went to my annual physical scared to death. A bit of doctors office phobia?

But my blood work results were remarkably better than I expected.

I am happy, because as I get older these things are scary!

I decided to start a second playthrough of Breath of the Wild yesterday afternoon. I’m glad I did. I spent a good half an hour just cutting grass.

I was excited to wear the Nintendo Switch shirt, but I learned that it’s locked behind the DLC paywall. Dang it.

We had a primary school pupil sit in one of our science classes today. They're four years older than him but he was so bright and on the ball. I love seeing young people excited about STEM.

It reminded me of a few years ago when I volunteered at the city's annual science fair educating the public on neglected tropical diseases, and I was fielding questions from a young person who was asking university-level questions. His mum even approached me for guidance on the path to get him into parasitology. I hadn't thought about that in a long time but I really hope he has pursued STEM too.

Drained this evening. Took a bath, sang along terribly to rock music, reheated the beef stroganoff I made yesterday for dinner. I won't be awake long but I'm going to try stay up for a little bit to get time with my boys and feel like I actually had a break from work!

I applied for that training scheme I wanted to do, applied to the three companies in my local area~
I was severally worried about my boss being late today, but I also did say I needed to leave on time because I had a call from UC, which is true. But she got there on time~

I also got back into doing more of my DIY shop and made the sushi finally~

I played Breath of the Wild. I talked to a guy in Kakariko Village who was growing endura carrots. He didn’t believe me when I told him that I was the same hero from 100 years ago. He thought I was joking.

I might have more to post later but I want to post a few things now .

I’m happy because I think I am improving with my shading or getting a better grasp of it. I started shading in clothing for a character that I’m working on and I googled how to draw leather since I’m trying to make it look like leather; I found something that was drawing related that helped. I’m not entirely sure if what I shaded looks like leather in particular but it has texture at least (normally my clothing in drawings are flat) so I’m really happy about that. I was actually debating between leather and some other type of material, something that would be easy to move around in. It was my first time trying to draw some anatomy and I think it turned out good, though I don’t think it’s perfect.

I’m happy I won a friend’s giveaway and that she liked the lineups I came up with . I had so much fun and loved seeing everyone else’s entries. It always amazes me how creative everyone can get with lineups .

For once Jewels behaved and did not get kicked out of my room when I was sleeping, but, I still had trouble sleeping . I love her so much and Spanky too ofc . I bet tonight she will be a naughty girl .

My mom made me some biscuits and little snack sized croissants. I had them with some honey and they were really good .

I’m very excited about @KittenNoir having her baby soonish.

I’m looking forward to hanging out with @Roxxy sometime soon! It has been so long since we hung out last. I’m hoping my connection cooperates .

My mood has been very good so far and stable. I’m hoping it will stay this way for the rest of the week .

Saturday was unexpectedly rough (and I had some stuff that had to be done yesterday), so I took it easy today ;v;

☾ I made some rubber band bracelets while watching some of ImpulseSV’s R.E.P.O VODs!

☾ Played Minecraft for a while, and explored my first Bastion in the Nether! Came out alive and with my totem of undying still intact, and found exactly what I went there for—the Snout armor trim!! (*^▽^*)┛ Also found Pigstep, a netherite smithing template, and some good equipment, so I’d say it was well worth the peril!

☾ Watched SmallishBeans’ new Hermitcraft video with my parents over dinner (it was pizza )!

☾ I finished a coloring project, and started on a new sketch this evening!

☾ We’ve got sliced strawberries and strawberry puree (for fruit leather/fruit roll-ups) in the dehydrator now Looking forward to trying them tomorrow!!

• the weather has been warming up!!! it makes me so happy hehe
• had a pretty easy cash office portion of my shift: no crazy overage or shortage after the final deposit count, no counterfeit bills found, all the paperwork filled, filed, and done :>
• the warmer weather has been meaning that the store is getting busier but we were understaffed today so i had to stay at frontline ringing a couple extra customers before i was able to clean up my till i didn't want to leave the long lineup to the one single cashier left kasjenfekjnr
  we had a coordinator come up to assist and pulled people off the floor, but the next cashier scheduled wasn't coming until a bit later
• went to food basics to grab something my mom needed so it was an easy peasy trip
• i made progress with acnh!!!! i remodelled a few villagers' houses again, just this time it'll fit the aesthetic and lore i've come up with so i'm excited to see them in their new houses tomorrow
• i went on infinity nikki and was able to do my dailies but my god, the game is still quite buggy and laggy so the game kept crashing before i was able to make muuuch progress with things. i was able to level up a whole suit, got a new power up set (eurekas,) and was going to level up another suit but alas... the game crashed so i just gave up for the night

Been busy the past couple of days!!!! But very productive days!!

• Assembled my new bookshelf and rearranged my table and items. It looks much cleaner now! but it's not done since I need to drill holes hehe (and I do not trust myself with drilling so I'll ask mom/dad over the weekend lmao)
• Fixed and painted the wall & ceiling of my room! We had to have major renovations due to termite infestation so I had to patch up the walls and stuff. It was extremely tiring working on it the past couple of days but I got over my fear of ladders ;v;
• Created my CV/resume!!! omg my brain wanted to collapse because I had to think of big words that are also justifiable and not just some random buzz words. I haven't updated my resume in SO LONG so i'm glad i got over that huge hurdle. My boyfriend helped me out and I'm pretty proud of the CV I made!!! it feels Not Empty
• ALSO in regards to CV, i overcame my anxiety of talking to my seniors and just asked them directly if I could add them as references...... they said yes!! I am so glad they didnt think I was weird omg I was so nervous
• Applied as a mentor in a mentoring program! I hope I get accepted.... I've always wanted to become a mentor I have a background as a tutor for kids of different grade levels (until college level!) & I love teaching so!! I'm praying!
• Finally had the courage to message Red Cross regarding applications as a volunteer doctor and they replied that I can submit my resume c: I plan to go to our local branch soon so I can ask in person regarding some stuff before I apply but I am 100% going to go for it once I get the necessary documents! I'm so excited to be a volunteer omg I hope I get accepted as well....
• AND ALSOOO Zerous made a super cute art of our favorite pokemon!!!!!!!!! I am obsessed with it omg (and i am also obsessed with how teeny tiny budew and hatenna are!!! theyre so adorable im crying)

anyway Adulting is HARD but I am taking it step by step!!

One pet peeve tho: IT ALWAYS GROWS BACK. ALL MY EFFORTS ARE WASTED.

But in the moment I don’t even care. ALL GRASS SHALL BE CUT. XD

went into the office twice in a row (rare) and feeling better for it, I ended up staying about 2 hours late but got a pretty nasty issue resolved so everyone is all smiles ! I'll try and leave earlier tomorrow and Friday to weigh it out (OT does not exist in my job lol)

also my new trainers came and I LOVE THEM, feel like I'm walking on a cloud lol (a pretty expensive cloud so I'm on a shoe ban for a while)

• I started watching season 2 of Pokemon Horizons
• The week is almost over thankfully, then I can have a less stressful weekend.
• Took a nice nap today
• Saw the movie Sinners the other day at the movie theater and really enjoyed it
• My neighbor, the 85 year old lady that I adopted Papi from since she couldn’t take care of him anymore, she bought him and my other cat food and litter and a bunch of treats randomly today. I keep telling her they’re fine and she doesn’t need to do that lol she’s so sweet though I do appreciate it.
• Had a nice relaxing day. Watched a couple episodes of Supernatural. Read a bit. Now I’m trying to figure out something else to do tonight. Maybe clean up my apartment some

I saw Dracula live tonight. It was done in a very minimalistic way with a single set and stayed very true to the source material. It was fantastic. However, unfortunately someone decided to heckle the actors in the first half and got thrown out - delaying the show 15 minutes. Everyone applauded when they came back on stage after.

Beforehand we stopped in a pub. It was very busy. A lovely elderly lady invited us to sit down at her table as she was leaving shortly. We got chatting with her and it turned out she was going to the same show as us.

Also the theatre staff were so concerned about my walking stick that they forgot to check my bag. Yay getting to keep my water!

I received a rejection for a job I interviewed for recently, but they gave very positive feedback and stated the reason it wasn't offered was a more suitable candidate. I can accept that. Still I'm happy to know I didn't bomb the interview. I can't control other candidates performance.

Seeing as I won't be moving job anytime soon, I submitted a request to purchase two weeks of annual leave and it was approved. Planning to take that as a solid block in July and can't wait.

My partner's already in bed, but I'm staying awake until my friend gets home. The show running late meant she missed her train. So I'm sat on the couch enjoying a glass of wine and watching Family Guy for now. Good end to an excellent evening.
