I had a 2 hour painting session with two friends over video chat today. It was a lot of fun
I managed to not dissociate on my walk today. I used an earbud this time and it cut down on some of the external noise/stimulation and I was able to focus on the podcast I was listening to and not drifting away into bad memories and dissociating as a result.
i'm getting an award!! apparently it's only awarded to the top 5% of students in my department and my major is pretty difficult my hard work is paying off

yesterday we ran out of $10 bills in the change box so i was worried about balancing the registers today but !! register 5&6 had sooo many extras so i was able to swap a bunch of $20s for them
the deposit wasn't crazy so it didn't take me that long which is always nice
the other cash office associates (COAs) have a sort of wall of fame where they showcase different deposits (ex. lowest shortage, lowest overage, smallest deposit, largest deposit, a perfectly balanced deposit) and i beat out the last record of lowest shortage of -$0.10 with today's -$0.05 !!!!!!
the store wasn't so busy today so there were moments where there wasn't any customers so we had plenty of time to clean up and do our recovery which i always love
all my customers were so lovely! they kept complimenting my coordination of my pink mask to my pink top, but that wasn't even intentional
It is Friday! I am so grateful it is the weekend. I've had no energy to do anything after work the past few nights - not even eat dinner half of the time. Hoping to find some to at least clean my kitchen tomorrow it's a state. Might even visit my parents - I haven't seen them since October and my mum has been saving tins of cat food hers won't eat to unload on me.
I did something I was proud of today.

I've been meaning to post, but it just reached to the point that I'm going to recap what happened in the past week lol.
On Friday, I went for a walk with my sister in sunny weather and we both saw a cat! We eventually went to the bakery shop where I bought an apple tarte.
On Saturday, I bought pizza for dinner!
Feel free to skip this point. I was heading back home from work one day and spotted a Hyundai IONIQ 5 N again! I already saw it at the auto show back in February when @/xSuperMario64x came to visit, but definitely seeing it the first time out in the wild (and in grey colour scheme for good measure)! Eventually, I saw a Porsche Taycan Turbo S again.
On Sunday, I watched the 2025 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix to kick off the season! My coworker spoiled the race result rip. Despite that, I still watched the whole race and was quite interesting with rainy conditions catching out many drivers. There also happened to be a funny moment during the race which made me hold back my laughter only to burst out.

Played Among Us over the weekend with other people from TBT. I can't list all of the funny, interesting moments, but a lot turned up to play at one point reaching 13 players! @/Bruscoe ended up hosting a session to cover for @/Dunquixote, but we still had fun and deserves credit for making the session go smoothly.
On Tuesday, I went for a walk during my day off. Sunny days are becoming a common occurrence, so it's not a surprise that I took advantage of it! I may or may not have walked for an hour and a half oops.
On Wednesday, I finished work really early. Unsurprisingly, I went for a walk for the millionth time and bought some stuff I needed.
Feel free to also skip this point. Continuing on from the previous point, I unfortunately saw a certain truck that shall not be named. Twice. However, I wouldn't be making this point if I didn't see a Honda S2000 and the elusive BMW M3 (E46) again! I haven't seen the latter since last year. Those two cars basically cleansed my eyes hahaha.
On Thursday, I got to see a rainbow, even though it only lasted for a short time!
Throughout the week, I played art of rally and Gran Turismo 7! I conquered (and won) the group b section in the former as it took me an hour to complete all those stages. I do get a chuckle seeing brief comments on some of my opponents with their times explaining why it took them so long to finish the stage lol.
Having a toilet emergency and only being just over a minute and a half behind the lead isn't too bad.
Even my driver avatar went for a walk. Sums up my sightings for the past week!

I'm off from work!
I didn't go for a walk this time around, but the weather was very nice today. Having oatmeal with blueberries and some brown sugar for breakfast made it extra good!
Played some more Gran Turismo 7 and art of rally.
I cooked delicious food for dinner, particularly Chicken Tinola!
Played Among Us this evening and had lots of fun! We were celebrating @/BetsySundrop's birthday and also trying out some stuff where lots of people either had the engineer or noisemaker role, making it a bit tricky to find out who the imposter really is. Oh, and 14 people were playing together all at once at one point!
Somehow wounded up being imp with the birthday star this evening. I always get nervous when I'm the imposter!

Today was pretty good! I had a lot of fun playing Among Us with everyone . I thought it was funny everyone was venting in front of each other now without any fear that we normally have as engineers . It was nice being lazy on maps like Mira with those dang doors that take forever to open and then get through. Instead of going through the doors, we could just vent past it .
I got to see another adorable picture of @Xara ‘s gorgeous kitty today .
In pocket camp, cyrus brought more items that I liked. I was wondering what those magic portal doors were; at one point I thought they were just doors and were boring but I saw that the door opens in the preview page . I had to grab it and hope to see the other doors at some point .
I got a good chunk of the event done already. I used my complete tickets and got a dupe calico cat (I wanted something new but I can’t say no to more cats ) and I got something else I wasn’t too excited about even though I did maybe want it eventually . I saw that soon we’ll be getting new fortune cookies and other stuff (looking at the schedule) so I’m excited.
My mom is going to get me more croissants tomorrow since my dad ate my other croissant yesterday .
My girls were both being cute on my bed during Among Us earlier . Jewels reacted to some of the sounds like the sabo sound with a funny sound lol.

☾ I finally got the Master Trader achievement in Minecraft, and also worked on checking off a few more that I didn’t have! Started a new world up too—the one I’ve been in is pretty old at this point, so I’d have to travel reallyyyyy far for stuff like armor trims/trial chambers/etc.
☾ I got to do some more artwork! Hoping to work on something some more tomorrow if I'm feeling up to it...!
☾ I’ve played Style Savvy: Trendsetters a little bit more! I got to change my eyebrows and I like them so much better than the ones I started with ;v;
☾ I finished reading Kimi ni Todoke! and omg I cried so much; I love this series and I’m really glad I finally finished it ;w; gonna have to watch the third season of the anime soon too!! And I also read the first volume of Kimi ni Todoke: Soulmate, which I’m really enjoying so far too!
☾ Played Among Us tonight to celebrate Betsy’s recent birthday!! Since everybody was either engineer or noisemaker, I got to vent around to my heart’s content hehe
Today I was able to go swimming for the first time this year I also finished my taxes, cleaned up my room to make more space, and ate at one of my favorite sandwich spots!
physically still feeling kind of unwell, but I'm feeling better than I have for the last few days which is nice. finally gonna return to work today after being off Thursday and Friday due to illness. I'm prob gonna wear a mask at work just in case, I don't want anyone to get sick.
I'm also so so so soooo relieved omg. I'm house sitting for my dear friend @/Foreverfox while she and her fams go on vacation for a few days I desperately needed a break from my house and she knew that. I actually feel confident enough to work on my assignment for my class (which is, thankfully, a relatively short assignment despite being a review paper/article, and I'm hoping I can submit it by tomorrow night; though my professor was gracious enough to give me some extra time, since I've been sick and falling behind a bit). the most important thing is that I'm not feeling super overwhelmed and upset about it. it's amazing how much a change in environment can help one's mental health and well being.
lastly, I'm happy because I've gotten a few things for myself over the last few days and coming soon:
- on Wednesday my mum ordered a sticker book for me, so I can finally organize all of my stickers, and yesterday I ordered some sparkly holo stickers from Etsy that I really like hehe.
- a few days ago I got my Poofesure/Beef Boss hoodie in the mail, and I absolutely love it!
- I found someone selling a zip-up Super Mario hoodie that I absolutely adore, but was only available at Hot Topic and is no longer being sold first-hand. it hasn't shipped yet (I may contact the seller soon about that), but I'm so excited to get it soon!!
- I got a very very smol Wallop keychain for a pretty cheap price and I love him so much hehehe.
- a few days ago I got an email from Bath & Body Works, offering a free item up to $26 in value with any purchase. and the best part was, if I bought two different items, the more expensive one would be free! I ended up buying two foaming hand soaps (I like to keep them in the workroom at the library bc I hate the generic hand soap they have there lol) and I got a super cute spring-themed soap bottle holder to put them into.
- yesterday I went to Five Below to look for Super Mario stickers, but while I couldn't find them anymore, I did find a water keychain with Kuromi in it!! and it was so cute, she's floating around in a little cup with a straw hehe. I sat her on top of my computer monitor with the tiny Wallop!

I ordered this hoodie almost a month ago I think? they're made-to-order from Poofesure's Merch-For-All page, so I knew it'd take about 2-3 weeks at least. but it arrived and I'm very happy with it! it's pretty cozy to wear!

I saved the best for last: the very very smol Wallop! I've talked about these guys before, but they only ever appeared in Super Mario 3D Land, nowhere else. I love rock boys and these guys are no exception, I think they're super underrated. I'm really happy to have this lil guy! now I just need to get the Prongo and the Tail Thwomp keychains, and I'll be a happy Bug hehehehe
overall I feel a little tense, but I'm pretty relaxed and calm and I appreciate that very much
So our Joannes is going out of business, which breaks my heart because I go to them for a lot of things for my craft classes that I host at my other job. But while I was there…. Since the entire store is clearanced out to a degree, I finally got my scrapbook for my big upcoming TBT project and I picked up about 30 scrapbook sheets and the scrapbook I got came with a handful of black sheet, which make me happy because I love to play with metallic gels on those. I spent most of yesterday creating a timeline in my TBT notebook so I know how I want to order it when I start putting everything together. I also spent hours upon hours getting screenshots from TBT to edit and print out on photo paper so that when I’m ready to get this thing finally started I will be ready!!!! I’ll be using some photos and some actual artwork. I’ve done over the years to put in there so I’m super excited to get it started!!!
I feel like I've done nothing today, but I've actually been pretty productive.
Tackled the hellscape that my kitchen had become and now it is looking so much better. Dishes clean, trash taken out, and got a couple of loads of laundry done. Did the grocery shop too.
My partner wanted to order takeout for lunch. I hadn't planned to get anything, until I spotted hash browns listed as a side on their menu. I woke up this morning craving hash browns so was very happy to satisfy that urge.
Took a much needed nap this afternoon with the cats cuddled against me.
One of my favourite ways to de-stress is baking. I baked a batch of carrot cupcakes and they've come out perfectly - super light and fluffy with a crispy top. I'm putting off tackling the cream cheese frosting until tomorrow though as it is already almost 9pm.
I also decided to do a trial run with a breakfast oat traybake. It came out pretty well but I think the recipe needs tweaked. For a first attempt though I'm pleased.
I'm seeing my mum for coffee tomorrow. I've not seen her since October so that'll be nice. Shame my dad is working though. ️
I slept really good last night plus I took a nice nap this afternoon
I had a free 1 gallon of milk gift certificate so I walked to the store today and got my free gallon of milk . I have several of them I was given actually so whenever I need milk I’ll just take one to the store to redeem it, so I won’t have to buy milk for quite some time.
Did the laundry, put it away, and cleaned the dishes and also took a shower. Feel better than I did yesterday in terms of mood

i've finished romaji subtitling my 'digimon last evolution kizuna ending - Hanareteite mo' amv on lightworks! : D it feels good to have it finished after so long ^^

& then i can go onto something else: the morning musume/akb48/ske48, ect videos that i have on my person that i've been wanting to eng subtitle on lightworks (preferebly with the romaji subtitles already on there, though but if they don't, then i don't mind eng & romaji subtitling those :3 )
