had a quiet few days at work this week so managed to get some tedious tasks ticked off my huge "to do" list!

I also just spent the last 20 mins or so picking out flowers for my mum & gran for later on in the month (Mother's Day and my gran's birthday) - I love looking at all the bouquets, they're so pretty! (for anyone interested I went for this and this)

ALSO IN MORE IMPORTANT NEWS I bought a sylvanian blind bag and I got my most wanted one yay

Earlier I got Wriothesley in Genshin to final ascension (just need to get more books; ascended his weapon to the final stage and leveled it up fully. I also got his normal attack to 10 and skill to 9.

Today my dad had work so the house was quiet.

I decorated a floor in my cabin (will post in pocket camp screenshot thread later) . I also got this .

I’m still very happy I got it; RIP leaf tokens though lol.

I was happy that one of the shark, dolphin and seal hats were available today; I got one of each; I’m a bit bummed our villagers can’t wear them though . It’d look so cute on them.

My friend @KittenNoir shared a funny meme with me earlier; I really needed that laugh .

I wasn't too excited about going back to work tonight, but I’m feeling so much better now! At the start of my shift, there were therapy dogs and cats at work. I absolutely love animals, so it really lifted my spirits. There was this adorable therapy cat just snoozing away, loving all the pets. I really wish I had gotten to work earlier to spend more time with them all!

- The week is nearly over! I'm happy because I've been working out every morning this week so far, hoping I can keep it up. I've also successfully been eating wayyy less sugar, and a lot healthier.

- Checked the weather for my trip next week and it's looking good

- My dad is in Budapest right now and he's been sending me photos and updates. It's nice to see a little travelogue while I'm at work, and since I was in Budapest back in December, it's nice to reminisce lol

a few things hehehe~

★ yesterday I went to the local public library to print out some sheet music. there are a few pieces by Liszt that I'd like to practice. perhaps I'm a bit too ambitious, jumping right back into practicing piano with such complicated pieces, but I believe in myself hehe. plus, if it's too much then I'll start with something smaller, like Beethoven.

★ I went to see my psychiatrist yesterday, and after talking to him about how much I've been struggling with executive dysfunction, he decided to have me try a small dose of Ritalin. I expressed concern with trying it in regards to hypo/mania, but he said that the chance of it affecting that is very slim. he also said that I should start to feel the effects within a few weeks. I still need to get insurance approval before I can have the prescription filled, but I'm kind of excited to try it, because if it actually helps with my ADHD symptoms then that would be amazing

★ spent a few hours yesterday reorganizing my closet, putting some stuff away, moving a few things around in my room, and sweeping the floor. it feels much more cozy in here now

★ I made a BLT with red onion for dinner last night and it was delicious hehehe

Felt dreadful and left my painkillers at home, but I still managed to have a productive day! I was ahead of schedule for the week so finally found time to clear my worktop. It has never been this clean before.

Came home and caught up on housework. Dishwasher and washing machine currently on. Fed myself. Defrosted lunch for tomorrow.

Now sat with a cup of tea, taken painkillers to hopefully shift this headache I've had all day, and ready for a bit of a downtime. I've not made enough time for self-care lately. One more day and then the weekend.

Hooray, today was a very good one!

• Yesterday was cloudy, but the sun came back again to shine brightly in the sky!
• Work wasn't very busy. In fact, I ended my shift early!
• With so much time on my hands and the lovely weather, I decided to go for a lengthy walk once more! The sunlight does a lot to make me go quite the distance. Ever since I started going for a walk last week, my mood has been generally positive. I also don't feel as tired as well (even though I could still use some more sleep lol).
• I bought some hotdogs and ice cream from Ikea!
• I had a nap not too long after I got home. Felt a bit energized as a result!
• I played Gran Turismo 7 and art of rally to wrap up my evening. For the latter, it's quite fun for me trying to guess what car I'm driving since they don't use real names of the cars (most likely to get around licencing issues). I'm also getting more accustomed with the handling physics, so I'm not driving off into the ditch as often.

☾ My parents and I caught up with GoodTimesWithScar’s latest Hermitcraft episode, and also checked out BdoubleO100’s most recent video, which was an absolute riot omg we were laughing so hard Rat seemed worried LOL

☾ I added a bunch of camper cards in Pocket Camp Complete!! I wish the cap was way higher than it is; I’m already maxed out and have a ton of cards I still wanna rotate in at some point, and I've hardly even scratched the surface of all the villagers ;u;

☾ I finished up some personal art this evening!

☾ There's gonna be a blood moon lunar eclipse tonight!! I'm gonna try to stay up for it because I really want to see it aaaa (praying the clouds will cooperate)

Happy today because I got to sleep in a bit and was productive at work. I'm really enjoying the current arc of Fairy Tail I've been watching, and I finished the last of the events in my gacha video games today, meaning I'm up-to-date. I'm really looking forward to getting paid tomorrow as well as this coming weekend since I'll have a lot of things to do and several things planned to hang out with friends and family. The weather outside today was also really nice and I loved on my kitty as well and gave her her wet food. Hope everyone had a great Thursday!

☾ I was torn between wanting the Los Angeles Kings to take first in the Pacific, or fall to a wildcard just to avoid playing the Edmonton Oilers in the first round for the fourth year in a row, but… I’m pretty confident they can win the division now. Somehow, they’ve caught up to the Vegas Golden Knights in points. I’m happy they’re playing well, though!
☾ I received some news today I’m quite happy about regarding a show that I’m into.
☾ It’s payday, and this is one of my biggest paychecks in a while!

Last night I started putting together a reference sheet so I can eventually maybe make an OC; I think I’m almost done until I’ll need to update and and remove what references I don’t end up needing. I’m still working on a big drawing project so won’t be any time soon that I try sketching something, but it is nice to start thinking about it and the character’s background. I might try to put together a second one while I’m trying to destress and take a break from things.

A couple of friends checked up on me today and yesterday; I really appreciated it . I’m really grateful that everyone that I play Among Us has been understanding and concerned too about me needing this weekend off. Thanks everyone .

• I got some external recording mics for my phone for recording good quality audio of my instrumental stuff I do (violin, keyboard, ukulele)
• I slept pretty decently last night, I got a sleep eye mask and that helped
• I went to the dentist yesterday for a cleaning and exam and had no cavities! The hygienist was super friendly. He was really helpful with some questions I had
• I cancelled some non essential stuff in my schedule because I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately and I need a break from things, so I’m trying to do more self care
• My kitties Mustachio and Papi are doing well. They’re so sweet

It is Friday!
I cannot put into words how happy I am to be done with work for the week. Now if I can just switch my brain off from work for the weekend that would be the cherry on the cake.

Bought a bottle of wine on the way home and intend to order a pizza and watch The Queen's Gambit. Perfect for a night in.

I was very busy last weekend so hoping to spend as much time as possible with my furry sons this weekend. My partner snapped this photo last night and I love it.
