What Are You Happy About Today?

Happy today because I slept in and had some nice dreams. I got up this morning and played some Smash Ultimate for the tournament with some TBTers, and had a lot of fun. My Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch Pro Controller also arrived! I didn't think it would get here so soon, and I love it SO much already. The Dallas MAVERICKS also just defeated the Houston Rockets 116-105 behind a MONSTER 1st quarter performance from Anthonyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy DAVIS! I know I said I'd checked out for the season, but I'm still loyal to this team and I like what I'm seeing so far after the trade. The Dallas Stars also play the San Jose Sharks tonight, which should be another fun game to watch. Hope everyone's having an amazing weekend and enjoying the Valentine's Day event!

it was only for a short while, but I got to see @/Shellzilla_515 today after he got off work, and omg to say that I'm a happy Bug is an understatement. it's been so long!! too long!! I'm so happy to be able to hug him again

we're gonna hang out tomorrow and maybe watch the new Dog Man movie so I'm very excited and happy about that!!!

I'm also working on finishing my plushie this evening and it's coming along very well! ️

Today has been a really great day off. I got to sleep in and get Aurora snuggles this morning. We took Aurora to an event at the park. She had a really good time getting to play with other dogs. There were a lot of rescue groups there and I hope most if not all rescue puppies were able to find good homes. Aurora was in the costume contest and was in the top 5 of 15 so she got a prize bag. We picked up chicken sandwiches on the add home.

Had a nice relaxing evening got caught up on my laundry. I downloaded Among Us today since I had enough available funds and some gold points. Excited to figure out how to play. I almost tried to join in on playing but chickened out maybe next time when I figure out what to do.

went to the mall today with my mom and sister ⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝ was able to buy a strawberry shortcake shirt, some satin pillowcases, and a pochacco portable mirror for myself and some sweaters for my mom and sister !! oh!!!!! also got my dad a pair of jeans that were 70% off so they were $24 (ᵕᴗ ᵕ⁎)
oh my gosh the mall was uber crazy today, expected since it's a saturday but hooooo

got to play among us again !!!! that was really fun, especially since i was only crewmate every game we played ehehehe
it's been so long though that i forgot the layout of each map and where the tasks are, thank god i was crew though because i was double backing quite a lot trying to navigate around

I managed to get 2 Shiny Eevee in 1 day!

I evolved E.T. into a Shiny Espeon and Amphitrite into a Shiny Vaporeon! Also E.T has his hidden ability Magic Bounce which is useful for sos, especially since Eevees love to spam Baby-doll Eyes lol

Today has been a good day so far.

My dad had work so it has been quiet at home.

I went grocery shopping today and treated myself to some chocolate; I’m don’t eat chocolate often but this Valentine’s event and last Among Us session someone mentioned chocolate and it made me want to get some for myself .

I’m really having a lot of fun working on my collage. I love making collages . I think mine is coming along well. Wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted it to look, but I’m getting a better idea now .

I saw there is a new hubert valentine’s unit and other three houses valentine’s units in fire emblem heroes today. I’ve been waiting for so long for a new hubert unit; not what I wanted since I wanted a time skip hubie, but I’ll still gladly take it since it is a free unit. I’ve been bored of feh for awhile but I redownloaded it for this and had fun playing it a bit.

It was nice coming on with so many notifications because of the valentine’s reactions .

Recently, I got Zhongli’s and Furina’s name card in Genshin (I forgot if I mentioned about Zhongli’s before, so my bad if I did ).

I had a nice chat with @Mimi Cheems last night .

I got the darkrai ex card last night from a wonder trade in the tcg app .

I’m glad that I’m home; I’m tired since I feel like I didn’t sleep very well and going out always drains me.

I had a lot of fun playing Among Us; I was really happy that some more of my friends were able to make it tonight .

My dad's been out of the hospital since Thursday-ish, I don't have a lot of homework, and the collage for the Valentine's event has been very fun to work on so far! I still need to glue some things together before I submit it, but other than that I love how it's coming out.

Oh yes, today has been pretty awesome! Lots of good stuff!

• Work was fairly busy, but things went fine and finished my shift on time.
• My father bought me a footlong sandwich from Subway. Haven't had those in a long time and it tastes good... At least in my opinion.
• I played Among Us this evening and there were quite a lot of people that showed up to play! I had to back out at one point to do some irl stuff for a while, but I managed to play a round of classic mode (I ended up being the imposter with @/digimon lol). My favourite part was when people voted against her, but ended up being tied... Twice! Eventually, we played hide and seek where we ran at supersonic speeds making it funny and terrifying at the same time.
• Tomorrow marks the start of my two week vacation from work! However, it's not the only thing that made me happy because...
• Earlier today after work, I got to see @/xSuperMario64x in person again after almost a year. It took me a bit of time to find him, but became obvious as soon as I saw him in his rainbow tie dye hoodie hehehe. We chatted for quite a bit and also ate some Jamaican beef patties just vibing as we got a lot of stuff planned for the week. Watching the Dog Man Movie tomorrow in theatres is one of them lol. I know there's a Valentine's event going on right now and I'm excited for that too (can't wait for my backdrop to change colours hehehe), but I want to prioritize spending time with Bug as much as I can. It feels so nice to hug and hold his hand again.

Spoiler: Something else I'm grateful for related to the last point

I'm very, very glad that Bug was able to get his passport sorted out before everything went downhill in the US ever since a certain person who shall not be named came into power. I heard that some people had their passport applications put on 'hold' or even straight up denied when it comes to changing names and/or gender. Had Bug applied later, there's a good chance that he would face this situation, cancelling our plans entirely to see each other in the first place. Thankfully, it never happened and I get to see my precious love. That embodiment of hatred can't stop us.

☾ Got to play some Among Us this evening!! We had lots of people tonight and it was a lot of fun getting to play both gamemodes ;w; plus both extremes of speed in hide and seek!!

☾ I traded for an Orange Hyacinth!! ;v; Finally got all the new hybrid flowers (minus the gold rose ofc) from last year’s flower breeding event, so I’m feeling ready for the upcoming one!!

☾ I’m having a silly amount of fun with Sweetheart Spellings LOL. It was fun buying tons of candies earlier, and I’m enjoying trying to swap for the letters I need now! I have achieved RT so far and I think that’s a great start; hopefully I'll soon be able to turn it into ART

The Dallas Stars also play the San Jose Sharks tonight, which should be another fun game to watch.

And the Stars smoked them 8-3 the final score to stay ahead of the Minnesota Wild in the playoff race, yipee! I also got to talk with some friends and watched another episode of Fairy Tail. About to play some more Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now!

- Finally figured out a solution to something that's been annoying me for a good few months with my laptop! (It was a stupidly easy solution too)
- Enjoying a lazy Sunday
- Did some meal prep! I made paprika chicken w/ lentils and sweet potato, which is my lunch at work for the next 3 days.
- Did a 30 minute workout
- I can feel Spring coming, the days are getting lighter and it's slowly getting less cold. I always feel so amazing when Spring comes, it's definitely my fav season

I've felt a bit rough today, so been taking it easy. Worked on a crochet project, been cuddling with boys (not really my choice but hey), and started watching Apple Cider Vinegar. Two episodes in and intrigued.

Plan for the rest of the evening is Star Trek: Voyager with my SO.

Today has been pretty good; my brain has been mush most of the day but still had a pretty good day. It started a bit rough because of low energy and for my collage I was looking at my late kitty pictures. It is still hard for me to look at my pictures of them.

I had a nice chat with @skarmoury; it was really nice to hear from her and chat about the event and other fun stuff .

I also had a nice chat with Kitten; I’m really excited and happy for her with the news about her having a baby.

I had fun playing Among Us today!

I’m a little stumped on my collage but I’m still enjoying working on it. The event overall has also been really helping my mood a lot even.

Yesterday I had a good laugh about the words my letters spelled out . I’m glad others found it funny too and pointed it out to me (my brain was mush yesterday ).

☾ Watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter, Haikyu, and a couple episodes of Demon Slayer with my parents this morning!! We also got to see SmallishBeans’ new Hermitcraft video this evening!

☾ I’ve gotten a lot of work done on my Valentine’s Party 2D entry!! Might also do some baking for the Sweets category too (although I already have some Valentine’s sweets and I’m not sure I want to eat more than that so we’ll see algjhfdkjs), and miiiight try for the 3D craft too, but I have zero ideas on that front right now LOL. Also planned out my collage some more, so hopefully I can get started on it tomorrow! My stickers arrived today (and they’re super cute aaa), so I already picked out some that might work for the collage!!

☾ Speaking of the stickers… the ones in the sticker book are super cutesy and pretty; most of them don’t have text, but there’s a few with nice words like “love” “peace” etc., and some others with motivational phrases.
…Well. There’s a veryyy small portion that are. um. I’m not sure they checked the translation before printing the stickers. ...so now I have cute, sparkly, pastel flowers and hearts that say “Expired stock,” “Tomorrow never comes,” and “Life is but a hard and tortuous journey”

no idea what I'm gonna do with them LMAO but they were absolutely sending me when I flipped through the book earlier dklghfsdjlkf

• We got to watch the Dog Man movie! I'll admit, seeing @/Suguri and @/ZeldaCrossing64 mention this movie a few times really piqued my interest. Even though I haven't read any of the books, it didn't disappoint as I really enjoyed it and even laughed at some funny moments. But oh my goodness Lil' Petey is so cute I can't contain all of his cuteness and innocence.

• After we finished watching the movie, Bug and I ate a couple of pastries and some Chicken Siopao! It's so nice just chatting and vibing hehehe.
• Bug gifted me a few things! He really didn't have to do that, but I appreciate his kindness so much. Two of them were wrapped, so it was a nice surprise to open them up!

The one on the left is a Hotwheels of the Lancia Stratos! Since this car is playable Gran Turismo 7, I'll be sure to make an attempt to recreate this livery. In the middle is a snow bunny plush that Bug ordered on Etsy! It's so soft and squishy and I love it so much. The one on the right made me extremely happy as it's a Lego set of the Ferrari F40! Bug and I were really lucky to see this car in person at the auto show last year, so it hit me quite hard. Not exactly because it's a Ferrari, but because of how amazing it looks (and well, I can drive the said car in Gran Turismo 7 lol).

• I'm pleasantly surprised that a few people on here went out of their way to gift some mystery sweetheart letters to me even though I haven't been participating much in the Valentine's event. I'd like to give a shoutout to @/skarmoury, @/MrBox, @/.: Meri :., @/Dunquixote, and @/OswinOswald for spreading love in the air. And I'd also like to thank @/Suguri for trading letters with me! Of course, I try to help out whenever I can. Man, this community rocks!

I finished my collage and got to eat some chicken wings and takeout fries! Today was Super Bowl Sunday, and while I don't care much about sports, I like having a good excuse to snack on my favorite foods.

And about my collage...I'm in love with how it came out! Even my partner enjoyed it too! They said they couldn't stop looking at it, lol.
