Finally got some pumpkins, attended a pumpkin drop, and then a Halloween event!

I got to wear my Halloween costume for the first time, to my theatre class for some Halloween shenanigans. I'm dressing up as Daphne (from Greek mythology, not Scooby-Doo, I'm incapable of being ginger). I've also been sick for the last few days, but I'm much better now!

I went for another walk outside this afternoon. I made it a full block this time, including going uphill. We saw some cats and squirrels while we were out.

I had a baked potato with cheese for dinner and it was really good.

I've been enjoying the slow life, hanging out with my husband and my dog, sleeping late. I still have a month to go. I'm afraid I'm not going to want to go back to work when the time comes.

- I went for a walk today to the grocery store and admired the cool autumn weather FINALLY, the temperature dropped over the past few weeks cuz I'm so over the depressingly hot summer weather.
- Worked on a few sketches like my creature entry. I plan on doing digital art, even though my stylus can be a bit unreliable.
- Completed some assignments for uni.
- Luna is currently sitting on my lap. Here's a cute pic I took of her sticking her tongue out while sleeping.

- Finally filmed my stuff for the gif I wanted to make
- Made a list of stuff to get done, not in a proper order, but better than forgetting something
- Did some more diamond painting, it's one I got for my mum for Christmas, and been trying to do each time she's not around.
- Plan to get the creature feature done today, if not tomorrow.
- Plan to finish a moodboard for my course, and do a lil digital drawing for it or sketches before the class on Tuesday.
- And plan to edit or write more of my cursed story acivity

☾ The Dodgers are leading the World Series 2-0. My coworkers are rooting for the Yankees, most likely just to mess with me since they aren’t even fans of that team. I’m open about my love for the Kings and the Dodgers, especially the former.
☾ I'm happy about my vacation coming up in less than ten days. It's going to be great!
☾ I managed to capture this adorable moment on video. Excuse my friend and I giggling in the background. I can't mute it because we need the audio for the cats. The black and white cat won, by far.

☾ I came in third place in Nougat’s lineup design giveaway!! ;w; I received some tbt from her and Oblivia (which my ABD sorely needed after the mushroom event lol) and also picked out a Purple Candy from Jhine’s shop!! Slowly but surely I am becoming a candy collector…

☾ My parents and I watched an episode of Haikyu this morning and it was so good omg. Just one more episode left in season 2!! Can’t believe how quickly it’s flown by aaaa

☾ I finished my short story for Tales of Terror! Tom was one of my favorite villagers in New Leaf so I wanted to include him somehow, and it was fun thinking of what he might be getting up to on some faraway island ahaha

☾ Got to watch LDShadowLady’s new Wild Life episode over dinner this evening!

☾ And I had fun playing hide and seek in Among Us tonight!! My death glitched VillageDweller out of bounds and it was super funny as;jfklsdjg

Today was pretty good! I had fun playing Among Us today.

My mom made pancakes for me tonight .

I got to play more of my second island today; I paid off the deserted island package in Nook Miles, got my first house upgrade ordered and I picked a spot for Blathers’ tent too.

I turned in my scavenger hunt items, put in a guess for mirrors (i think my guess is wrong), I just have the story writing activity to do if I can get enough energy to do it.

Right now I’m working on a collage for my island journal ; I’m really happy how it looks so far.

I had a nice chat with @-Blue- @S.J. and @Yanrima~ today . I was feeling a bit crabby a bit ago but I feel better after talking to Yanrima . Always nice to chat with her.

The boo reacts that I’ve been getting during this event have cheered me up a bit too! @-Blue- gifted me a boo idol and Doo gifted me a wisp spirit piece; thanks both of you!

Tomorrow I am going to my final like "scary halloween event" and i'm pretty excited to go. I'm really pleased with the amount of Halloween-themed activities I did this year. I'll probably cut back on one event next year depending on how things go or whats announced but my goal for next year (I have started saving!) is to go to Florida for Halloween Horror Nights and possibly Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween party! We will see if I can make that plan happen though.

☾ I worked a little bit more on my ACNH island today!! I think I'm gonna try another trick to get villager photos because Shino, Deirdre, and Rod are all being horrifically stubborn ughh

☾ My parents and I watched GeminiTay’s new Wild Life episode this evening!

☾ I guessed the most recent round of House of Nightmares correctly!! ;u; I wasn’t counting on any Carnival Coins from that event, so I’m happy I was able to spot the character aaaa

☾ And I submitted my photos for the final round of Spooky Scary Scavenging!!

I've had a good couple of days. Yesterday I made it two blocks around the neighborhood and got to see some of the dogs I've been missing. Today I only made it one block because I was exhausted, but that's ok.

Yesterday was my twin nephews' birthday. We just mailed them gift cards this year because of everything going on, but I did chat with both of them. They were very sweet and said they loved me!

My mom and aunt came over for a visit this afternoon. It was my first time seeing anyone other than my husband since my operation and we had a really nice time. We talked about a lot of things. They brought me cards and cupcakes for my upcoming birthday on Friday, even though I'm planning to see them again next weekend. They also brought a new toy for my dog and he enjoyed playing with them.

- Got 4 days off work

- Finished up making plans with my friend for Halloween, going out for food + drinks then watching Nightmare on Elm Street at the cinema I might do some Halloween baking for our movie snacks

- Seems like my availability at work won't be changing over Christmas, which is good. I got a call back about the job I interviewed for but in the end I weighed the pros and cons and decided I'd in fact be losing money (and working more days) so decided to stick with my current job for another year until I go travelling long-term. I'm pretty comfy with my life right now

☾ I had the day off to watch the final episode of the mini series for Disventure Camp. My favorite characters had a happy ending. The series wasn't centered around them, but they've been supporting characters and I'm happy with what the show did with them.
☾ I wouldn't have thought the Dodgers would have a 3-0 lead in the World Series while being as dominant as they have been against the Yankees, but they have a chance tonight to become champions. I love to see it.
☾ My vacation is now less than one week away. It's getting a lot closer and I cannot wait.

Today has been kinda meh but it wasn’t bad .

My mom got me some baklava from some place she went to today! I haven’t had baklava in so long; I love it so much.

Earlier I got more done in my island journal; I still need to finish up my last entry. I finished most of a collage that I made for my journal (for a later entry). I started another one (a smaller project this time) to go with the other one . I’m hoping I can finish my last entry and play some more tonight.

I got some snuggles from my kitties earlier .

I might be able to turn something in for the tales of terror . I’m hoping I can get it done since I want as much coins as possible .

I’m still having a lot of fun with the fair . I was happy my last round of the scavenger hunt was accepted; I was worried about my head stone submission. Very grateful that it was accepted!

@Mimi Cheems invited me to her new discord group. I was really happy that she wanted me to be there .
