As a followup to my post about getting the new cat, here she is, I named her Mocha, she's terrified I'm sure due to all the changes with her owner passing away a few weeks ago and being alone in the apartment there but she's here now, I know it will take a few months for her to adjust and I'm very patient. I love her already and she is so adorable, so I'm happy she's here

Happy today because I didn't have to work and I have martial arts training later. Ah, the joys of sleeping in~

Also excited for the Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 update tonight.

I dropped by a local business to get a new replacement for my wiper blade. Turns out they had a spare part for what I broke and they installed it for me and didn't charge me for it. That was nice of them, saved me about $25 for a replacement.

Knocked a full can of coke off a table with one hand. Caught it with the other. Didn't spill a drop.

I hope this isn't the highlight of my year though.

☾ I played through a couple more days on my file with Murakumo in Rune Factory 5, and then switched over to my newest file to try to progress the story a bit there! Also unlocked the Cooking Contest first this time around, so I’ll see how my bamboo rice with turnip does in it next time!

☾ My family and I watched SmallishBeans’ first episode of Hermitcraft Season 10 this evening!

☾ I’ve decided that I’m going to start dyeing my hair again!!! I haven’t dyed my hair since my teens, when it felt like too much upkeep with my depression, but in times of stress I must do drastic things with my hair and I don’t want to cut it short again yet, so we’re going pastel pink and periwinkle!! I know from past experience that my hair bleaches to a fairly light blonde, so hopefully it takes well! ;w; I might even leave some blonde in when I dye it eeeee
I think I also wanna go for emerald green at some point + maybe some really dark colors, but I gotta get the pastels out of my system first. might have to do a pastel/sky blue too after this aaaaa

I went to play bingo tonight and I won two games for a total of $115 (would've been more if someone hadn't tied with me but congrats to them) and the free drink raffle!

My boss was sick today so I got to have a chill work day without their watchful eye lol
And I had some yummy steak for dinner

-This weekend I did a little bit of everything. I made some progress in the third dungeon of RF3 Special, did some laundry, watered mom's plants, swept the floor, and even studied two and a half lessons on customer service.

-Work didn't leave me completely exhausted today. I still have some leftover energy to relax for an hour or two.

-Took out some money so that I could give it to my niece in preparation of the storm tomorrow. Just in case she needs to take shelter at a store or something.

-Some of my favorite characters from a gacha game will be on the Valentine's Day seasonal banner. I'm so happy!

Today I'm happy because:

- I had a fairly calm workday and didn't have to work more than 15 minutes late this evening.
- I saw some of the adorable neighborhood dogs on our walks today.
- I also saw some very cool looking ducks (geese?) just hanging out in someone's yard. They seemed quite friendly and two of them even wagged their tails when I spoke to them.
- My nephew's birthday present is on its way, so now I'm officially done with all the kids' birthdays until fall rolls around again.

☆ Finally got a start date for my new job! February 19th. I was offered the position before Christmas and have already left my previous role so I'm eager to return to the workforce. It's been such a long process because I'll be working with 11-18 year olds and needed to pass various security checks.

☆ My partner suggested we get takeout tonight from one of our favourite places to celebrate. I'm excited!

☆ Got 50% off my grocery shop with my supermarket rewards card.

☾ I’m happy that controversial opinions thread is shut down and hopefully it doesn’t get reinstated.
☾ I slept very well today and woke up in a good mood. I feel a little better today!
☾ I’m not happy I was charged twice for my soda at the store, but happy that I was able to dispute it.
☾ I watched Keagan enjoy his doggy ice cream. I couldn’t get any good pictures of him today.

- I had a nice day at university today despite the fact that it was raining all day I got a grade back for an essay I did and I'm relatively happy with it too

Been feeling very lonely recently and ended up kind of emotional this weekend because of it, but I've had a pretty productive day today and I feel better about myself right now.

☾ Today was a long day but I don’t think my mood suffered for it, which is good (and unusual for me lol)! We had to go out of town to help my grandparents with some legalwork, but I also managed to sneak in some time to read One Piece hehe. Made it most of the way through volume 101!

☾ And after that, I came home to my finished YCH commission by @k o i !!! It’s so cute and perfect and I’m so happy with it eeee ;v;

☾ Spent the rest of the evening playing Rune Factory 5 with my tuxedo kitty sleeping in my lap (or on his back between the couch and my leg LMAO) with some cute/funny Youtube videos playing in the background. ;w; It was wonderfully chill and very much needed ahahah. Also got the event that let me decide my first child’s gender/personality in RF5, and the townsfolk’s little congratulation dialogues on the pregnancy are super sweet

- My dog bit a woman on the arse who was trying to mug another woman. I actually thought the mugger was a small man til she shouted, then I realised my mistake and almost felt bad that my dog bit her.
Then I remembered she was literally trying to mug another woman and felt happy about it. My dog is a hero!

- Came back to some proper lovely and funny messages on here and twitter/X which was very nice
