What Are You Happy About Today?

I’m happy today is the start of my vacation. Was able to sleep in. Me and Aurora had a nice walk this morning. Was able to get a lot of cleaning done today. Started to decorate for Christmas. Will do more decorating tomorrow. Mine and mom’s advent calendars arrived today. Aurora’s should be here tomorrow.

Me and Aurora got another walk in this evening. Made some more progress on my Pokedex in legends Arceus. I plan on being productive this vacation and hoping to get rid of some things that I don’t use and get more organized. Hope everyone has a great week.

GTA 6 THE TRAILER IS OUT EARLY ITS SO GOOD OMG!!!!!!

It looks amazing! Throughout the entire trailer I was thinking, "Huh, will I need to build a new PC for this?" With that level of detail on a grand scale, I think it may push my current one to its limits.

I've always had a good time with GTA. Can't wait to play this!

☾ I played Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island throughout the day—mostly just popping in every so often to collect resources and start producing more since it's real-time based, but with a couple longer play sessions thrown in as well!
☾ I stg I'm not gonna make adoptables another hobby of mine (I have more than enough hobbies right now!!)... but I stumbled across this adorable design up for free and?? I love her already omg... she's gonna be besties with my other adopted gal Twyla ;v;

Today I'm happy about:

- Woke up early to enjoy the sunrise. I love the way the lighting hits the bathroom & living room in the morning
- Slept through the night for the first time in a while
- Got my ACNH interior wishlist completed thanks to @/Firesquids
- Finished season one of Fargo with my husband. I'm looking forward to starting two later
- Chatted with my mom
- Reorganized my resume to start looking for a new job next year

I've been looking at Pretty Princess Magical Garden after seeing you mention it a few times. My initial worry was it may play like a mobile game, but that may not be the case? Either way, I'm all for living the princess fantasy with those super cute outfits.

I'd say my biggest complaint about Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island, and I think the most mobile game-esque point, is that you only place buildings to produce items with the resources you gather, and there's no interiors whatsoever (interacting with buildings just opens up a menu). ;; That aside though, I'd say it's most similar to the island customizing/decorating side of ACNH, and honestly a lot less frustrating at that—there's no RNG component like with finding DIYs, and you only need resources to unlock items. After that you can place them freely!
There's no multiplayer/dream address equivalent or critter-catching (there's 3 fish in total, used for restaurant recipes only, and the fishing minigame is very difficult to fail), and the little rabbit villagers don't have a lot of personality outside of being sweet and adoring, but the dresses, hairstyles, and color options are plentiful as you go up in Happiness level, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than investing in a new ACNH island ahahaha ;w; (Also just tested and it appears to be one save per profile, so I think you can have multiple Carrot Isles on the same Switch!)

• Got an appointment over and done with today that I had been dreading, so I’m happy I don’t need to go back until late January.
• Watched another Christmas special, The Royle Family ‘The New Sofa’.
• It was snowing on one of my ACNH islands, Sapphire! I can’t wait until it is covered in snow! I love the decorations outside Resident Services and Nook's Cranny.
• Blossom has just been adorable as usual, she was laying beside me sleeping and snoring.
• My Fahlo Polar Bear tracking bracelet should be arriving on Thursday instead of Saturday!

Happy because I've been very productive this week despite being sick.

- Got all caught up in Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, especially with the events and finished them.

- Finished a personal task I needed to do the other day, which clears up more time for me to focus on other things.

- Was productive at work today and finished helping out with something.

- Finishing prepping for my vacation that starts next week.

- I also cuddled with my kitty again today.

- I have therapy again this week, which I'm looking forward to.

☾ We've finally put away the Halloween decorations lol and have started putting up some Christmas ones!! Still gotta figure out what we're going to do for a tree this year (our fake tree was basically my age and very much falling apart), but we've got some pretty multicolored lights and other things up at least!
☾ Watched some Youtube videos with my family, including InTheLittleWood's second Secret Life episode and the VOD of Impulse, Grian, Scar, and Skizz playing Lethal Company—the game was super punishing and I understand why they got frustrated with it but omg I could not stop laughing
☾ I made a ton of progress on my Secret Santa art!! ;v; The lineart is done and I've started on the coloring.
☾ We had more Christmas cookies this evening! Wonderful little things, they are.

• I went to my volunteer job working with the rescue cats today, it was great as always Here's a pic of one of the kitties from today
• I started Christmas shopping, am almost done. Just need to get a few more things friday then I'll be finished. One of the things I got my niece was this bath bomb set which is adorable, anyway she's away at college now but will be at my sisters for the holidays so I get to see her. I got her that bath bomb set, a joanna basford adult coloring book, colored pencils, and a full sized Yankee candle. I also got some toys and treats for the cats at the place I volunteer at.

I’m happy because I got to sleep in . It was a good productive day. The weather was great so me and Aurora got our two walks in. Aurora’s advent calendar arrived today and she was very happy with it.

Was able to get most of my Christmas shopping done today and some things mailed out. Got most of the inside decorating done. Will finish tomorrow then will start on the outside decorations.
Was finally able to make it to star rank 10 in Pokémon Arceus. Also was able to finally find and catch Shieldon.

Today I'm happy because:

- My husband and I are both over whatever illness we had Sunday/Monday.
- I felt like I had a fairly productive day at work. I completed my most important tasks.
- I got some laundry done this afternoon.
- My dog has been super cute and affectionate today.
- I sent out a third batch of Christmas Lights and received a few more myself.

- i’m getting a new laptop soon thanks to my grandma !! (love her), it should be here by the 13th (hopefully sooner hehe), and i’ll be giving my old one to my brother
- started building my schedule for the spring semester! i’m super happy to be going to this uni again, most of the people i know are going there so i’ll be seeing familiar faces soon <3 also excited for the classes too! majoring in psychology this time around is so exciting to me

☾ I am being paid out for 20 hours of my PTO next paycheck. I worked a few extra hours, as well, so my paycheck should be quite hefty.
☾ The Los Angeles Kings won their game tonight, while simultaneously tying the NHL record for the longest season-opening road winning streak.
☾ I watched some more episodes of Eyeshield 21. I'm hoping to finish it by the end of next week. I regret not watching it sooner as it's an amazing anime.
☾ I tried a new snack food that I really like: Flamin' Hot Cinnamon Sugar Cheetos Popcorn! They are way better than I'd originally thought.

• Managed to get through my dentist appointment! The needles hurt, but now I shouldn't have to go back until sometime next year for my wisdom teeth
• Helped my grandma set up her Christmas tree, and wrap some presents It was nice to see her.
• Had some nice wraps for dinner.
• Chilled and played video games while chatting over call to finish off my night!

- Well my trip ended up...not as expected. We actually got stuck in Munich for 3 extra days due to the extreme snow storm meaning our flights constantly got cancelled and rebooked It was extremely stressful, we slept in the airport at one point, and I ended up having to escape Germany by taking an 8 hour bus to Berlin and flying from there. On the bright side, I did have a good time mostly, and I got to go back to Berlin for a day, a city I love! I visited the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie, two places I missed the first time I went to Berlin.

- I'm very happy to finally be home. My shift at work wasn't very stressful, and my mum surprised me by coming to pick me up haha. My manager went ahead and approved my requested paid time off for my trip to Singapore + Malaysia next year, probably because she felt bad about how weird my recent trip turned out

Just need to get through tomorrow then I’m off for the weekend

Happy today because,

- I got up early and was productive at work.

- Had some delicious homemade chili for the winter season.

- I obtained Argenti in Honkai: Star Rail thanks to being guaranteed! Also got his Light Cone on my first try.

- I cuddled with my kitty some.

- Listening to fun music while working.

- I'm really looking forward to the Dallas Cowboys versus Philadelphia Eagles game coming up soon!
