What Are You Happy About Today?

That partial solar eclipse today was nothing short of incredible, even if it only got to around 75% coverage where I live. Having eclipse glasses to be able to directly observe the eclipse definitely helped bring the experience to a whole new level beyond any partial solar eclipse I had seen in the past. I was even able to watch the final seconds of the eclipse as the last bit of sun finally passed from behind the moon. This eclipse has me even more excited for next year's total solar eclipse than I already was!
Posting late for yesterday: I had a very lovely day! It was my birthday and I received a lot of lovely wishes from everyone! 
I took the day off to go shopping and got myself a new rug for the living room (I'm a boring adult) and it makes me like the space more now! We got pizza for dinner which is a birthday classic for me since I was a kid and also leaves me with some yummy leftovers for today. Plus the Haunted Carnival event has started! I love the new collectibles and I might be even more excited for the ones that haven't been revealed yet

Today I'm happy because,
- I got to relax and catch up on some video games and anime.
- The weather has been lovely today.
- My kitty cuddled with me earlier.
- I had an amazing breakfast.
- We're having burgers with some sides later!
- The Rangers versus Astros ALCS starts tomorrow! No matter which team wins, neither team better lose in the World Series. #NoNationalLeagueTeamWinner.
- I'm planning a trip in December, this time for a full week!
- I'm just feeling very happy and like myself today. Can't remember the last time I was this relaxed and happy!
- I got to relax and catch up on some video games and anime.
- The weather has been lovely today.
- My kitty cuddled with me earlier.

she was purring earlier but i think she's out like a light now! i've been making small changes to their diet slowly over the past few weeks and have been monitoring how they've been doing and so far so good! (we tried a bone broth today to add some extra moisture to their breakfast this morning and they LOVED it)

Watching the Paul vs Danis and KSI vs Fury fights
- I have had a nice two days off. Been spending time watching shows with my bf (full metal alchemist: brotherhood) and playing magic the gathering and yugioh together.
- I spent quite a bit of time practicing ukulele the past two days, so I'm getting further in learning a new song!
- Got paid on Friday, got some new clothes, I'm almost all set for the colder weather now
Have a few more things to get but got most of what I need. - I reorganized both of my closets, they were both a huge mess and I got rid of a ton of stuff I didn't need or want anymore, they look so much cleaner and organized!
- I was looking to buy some new bed pillows, specifically memory foam pillows. My sister said she has a set of memory foam pillows she bought but never even used so she's gonna give them to me, so that saves me quite a bit of money! And it will be nice to have much better pillows. The pillows I currently have are flat as pancakes, and I've had them for 4 years. So yeah it's way beyond time to replace them. I might get another set as well on my own next time I shop for household stuff, so then I'll have 4 pillows total and won't have to worry about sleeping uncomfortably!
- I've been playing the new Hello Kitty game on Apple Arcade and omg it's ridiculously cute and fun
- I got some peppermint mocha coffee creamer today, it tastes like drinking thin mint cookies, it's amazing!
- I work tomorrow from 8am to 2pm, which is gonna be a long day cause I have to head out at 6:40am, but I have my violin lesson after work so I'm looking forward to that

- Trying to deal with stress by doing lots of self care, and trying to not ruminate on anxious thoughts

Male Villager for Mario Kart World!
Not only did I go to this carnival on TBT, but I actually went to one IRL! The games they had there were fun indeed, won me a few stuffed animals of a Penguin, Whale and a Shark. (The last 2 I gave to my little niece/nephew.)
The carnival rides I will never go on, ever! They also had a petting zoo, the only unfortunate thing they didn't have was an abundance of food trucks, other than that it was fun!

☾ I saw my favorite person briefly last night and I hugged the crap outta her. I’m pretty sure she misses me almost as much as I missed her, seeing how she keeps denying it.

☾ I got to participate more in the Halloween Carnival!! I've accessed all the sideshow tents now (so I've got a decent idea of how I want to prioritize things) and spent a huge part of the day working on my Vandal Visions entry. I was able to complete it as well and I'm very satisfied with how it turned out! ^^
☾ My family and I watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter and Fairy Tail this morning!
☾ I got to play in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate session this evening, which was a lot of fun!
☾ And I chilled out with a little bit of Stardew Valley! I got a few more hats for my collection as well as a lot of neat stuff from the Winter Night Market!

- Hung out with my partner! The train line went down Friday night so through convoluted means, I was finally able to get back to the station after about two and a half hours 
, and it was really nice, but they picked me up so I didn't have to catch another bus at night, and then we hung out and watched episodes of the clone wars together!

- The halloween event has started! I'm going to have to pace myself better because I really can't afford to not do my study so close to exams, but I have a couple of ideas for the main events, and I'm very excited!

* I saw a bit of the annular solar eclipse. I didn't see all of it because I kinda overslept and forgot about it, but I still saw the end in-person and the sky was a bit of a darker hue. Pretty cool. ^.^ I have talked about it with you guys before, but I just freaking love astronomy and astronomical events. :,)

* Won the fishing tourney in New Leaf.
* One of my friends on YouTube made a rant that I relate to. It was a rant on stern people. Him and I are both sensitive when it comes to that type of stuff...and I pretty much have a fear of getting angered at or yelled at for something. We are both VERY sensitive when people get mad at us and yell at us (he even did a discussion video about being sensitive last year, which I also related to). It is enough to make us cry, or at least get us into a bad mood and ruin the rest of our day. I love it when I discover something new that I relate to...it is such a comforting feeling... :,) Surrounding myself with people and just things I relate to...it is one of the most beautiful and comforting feelings that any organism in the entire universe has the capability of feeling... :,) I know I have gone off about this before...but it really freaking is true...I love having reminders that people are in certain similar positions as me. :,)

Tomorrow is theater atelier! I really enjoy this place, animator is fun, buddies are really nice to me and I feel good there. I enjoy my lessons. I can't wait!
But before that, school and a medical exam. Maybe eat something in the city center.

- Made the decision to apply for a weekend job ! I've been thinking about it for a while, and decided it would be good for me to save up some money for travels and other future plans. By only working a weekend job for 2 years I could save up around £16000!! So I applied for my first one today, will continue applying for more too since I know from experience how long job-searching can take
