What Are You Happy About Today?

- Succeeded in my quest to use up all of the surplus of potatoes we had in, by making a fish pie! (British traditional dish, just mashed potatoes and seafood + fish in a sauce). It turned out quite good, even though it was my first time making it!

- Another cold, wet, windy day

- I'm happy I started watching the Yuru Camp movie today too, one of my fav anime!

- I got to sleep in, which was much needed.

- The Texas Rangers beat the Cleveland Guardians again, this time 2-0. The last pitch of the game was Aroldis Chapman's 102 MPH fastball.

- May be going to dinner tonight.

- Since my Pokemon SoulSilver copy isn't here yet, I'm going to play some more Honkai: Star Rail tonight and work on finishing World 4 of Simulated Universe.

• Spent the morning at a pool party with my kids and friends; forced myself to socialize and realize that I have less anxiety than I used to when speaking with others. Reconnected with some old friends and made new ones.
• Made a quick stop to the library with the whole family. Despite living in this city for decades, my husband had not visited a local library and I'm glad I could introduce it to him.
• Made it to the first half of an online art class. I miss learning and the collegiate environment, and learning gesture drawing from someone who makes art I admire... it's such a good feeling to have the light bulb turn on in my head. I was a little bit lost in the chat (since I don't hang out on twitch or any other live streaming things... everyone started spamming "w" and I can only assume that means "win"? Hahaha, I'm really aging but I still love to be in the know and I love modern slang.
• I have a movie date tomorrow, which I am looking forward to! It's in one of those fancy theaters where you have a secluded table and can order a nice meal and sit in a big cushioned chair. I recall being provided with a cozy blanket last time, too.
• I started my gym membership and hope to check in everyday for my gym accountability. I CAN DO THIS!

➣ I moved a few of my eBay listings over to Mercari and they seem to be getting more attention over there. I think it depends on what you are selling.
➣ My dad bought me some delicious chorizo tacos earlier from a Mexican food truck.
➣ I earned back some of the BR I lost this morning playing Mario Kart.

Today I'm happy because:

- I played some more Kena and opened up the ability to buy cute hats for my Rot friends. I've been naming them (because I'm crazy) and now with the different hats I'll be able to tell them apart. Plus they look adorable!
- I got to sleep at a decent time and slept really well. I slept in this morning and felt rested all day.
- I watched another episode of Outlander.
- I ate some good food.
- I saw the precious baby bunny, Cicely, in my backyard again.
- I enjoyed relaxing at home and spending time with my husband and my dog.

☾ I finally managed to get SS rank on Hard difficulty on a dance performance (Intense Confessions at the Confessional) in Jack Jeanne that I was really struggling with. I was going to give it just one more attempt before I went back to Normal difficulty so I could progress the story, and that's when I finally made it! I am levelling up as a newbie rhythm gamer y'all!!
I also made it off the common route and got into totally new story territory, and oh my god this game hit me with the feels so hard out of nowhere like OOF

Spoiler: after finishing my play session today I was just like

☾ Watched an episode each of Fairy Tail and Hunter x Hunter with my family this morning! We also got started on catching up with InTheLittleWood's New Life series. His first episode was really funny and I'd been curious on how the Colins got started!
☾ Markiplier also uploaded the fourth part of his playthrough of Amnesia: The Bunker, and my mom and I got to watch that late this evening! This whole let's play has been a blast to watch ahahaha

Today has been pretty good!

- My last official rest day before I'm busy this week, and it's been fun. I also announced the winner for my 10 year TBT anniversary giveaway!

- I just trained my Heatran to level 100 in Pokemon Scarlet and won in the Fairy Tera Delphox raid on my very first try!

- The Texas Rangers earned a 6-5 comeback victory against the Cleveland Guardians to sweep them 3 games to 0!!

- I had an upset stomach last night, but thankfully I feel much better today! Had a headache but I think it was due to dehydration, so drinking a lot of water cleared it up

- Watched the Wimbledon final this evening which was really great, super happy with the outcome haha

- Slept a lot and overall had a chill weekend

➣ I am casually racing on Mario Kart, and Vancouver Velocity is chosen. The inner hockey fan in me is screaming because there's a whole arena on this course?? Anything Canucks would obviously be copyrighted so the rink is just Mario themed, but this is a masterpiece. There's no other way to describe it.
➣ I recently discovered that my six pack of Fruit Gushers came with twelve packs. I thought the box was a bit heavy but I wasn't thinking anything of it.
➣ I picked up a lint roller set, in addition to a travel sized lint roller from Target. I love using them even if they aren't necessary.
➣ I'm excited about Camp TBT starting this Friday! I have a double shift that day. I hope I don't get too distracted by the fun.

I got my Portfolio out there, I finally finished and now its going out to others to view.

I'll be honest, I got a little teary. Theres still so much to do, but Im starting to have high hopes again ​

Today I'm happy because:

- I slept really well last night and got to sleep in this morning. I wish I could sleep that deeply all the time.
- I got to watch another episode of Outlander and this one covered what happened when Ian was with the Mohawk, which I've been anticipating. I knew it was going to be emotional and, of course, it was.
- I felt very productive today. I cleaned off half the kitchen counter and reorganized that section so we could set up our new air fryer.
- No more rain today! We've had flash flood warnings all weekend and everything is soaked and muddy, but now we get a reprieve.
- I spent some quality time with my husband and my dog.

☾ I got to see the latest One Piece episode and another episode of Hunter x Hunter with my parents this morning! ^^ We also got to see GeminiTay's latest episode of New Life later on and some other Youtube videos!
☾ Made it up to the final performance in my current playthrough of Jack Jeanne! I'm so close to finishing this route now aaaaa
☾ Sign-ups for the upcoming Camp event opened today!! I've been so excited for it that I was even looking forward to when I'd get to opt-in ahahaha
☾ There was a huge snail chilling on our window (outside of course)! I love snails, I think they're really cute, and this one was so big I could see its features really clearly.
☾ I also played a little Stardew Valley this evening! Just a little work towards completing my last few monster eradication goals.

i got taylor swift tickets!!! tbh i was not too bothered about not going but i have just made two other people EXTREMELY happy as they were not able to get codes for pre-sale so i'm feeling happy about that , i was hoping my history of getting tbt collectibles might help but i think getting tickets on ticketmaster was just sheer dumb stupid luck

Just happy about deep cleaning the house early. I usually do it in fall and spring, but cleaning now and rearranging the house.

Also happy that the Japanese beetles aren't attacking my marigolds as much as I thought they would. I only removed like 10 or 15 so far this month.
