What Are You Happy About Today?

Today I'm happy because:

- I woke up last night to find my husband cuddling me.
- I went back into the office today after 2 weeks and it seems some of my coworkers actually missed me.
- We had a nice team lunch with lots of great food, especially the homemade samosas.
- I made it through a presentation at work and received some praise for it.
- I was able to take walks on both my morning and afternoon breaks.
- The weather was pleasantly warm today.
- I spent a nice evening with my husband and my dog.

☾ Finished two more rubber band bracelets!!
☾ I got to spend a while just chilling out and watching Youtube with my family. I definitely felt like it helped my mood! ^^
☾ Finally was able to get ahold of some official art in higher quality that I'd been on the hunt for!!

I'm really looking forward to having two days off after tomorrow.

I was also able to get a bit more sleep last night.

I exercised a bit after work today. I broke it down to doing half of it one day and the other bit the next day. That way it's only an hour or so each day and then I rest for one day. Makes it more manageable.

I started playing a new game called Xenoblade 3. It's different compared to the way 1 and 2 started. Seemed to just jump right into it. But so far it seems interesting enough for me to want to keep playing/enjoy it.

long time no post! i didn’t mean to stop posting for so long lol, but life just suddenly got crazy busy, plus i felt sick for most of january, and i haven’t had time/energy to post. i’ll talk about all the nice things that’ve happened since the last time i posted later, but i wanted to post today since it’s my birthday. :’’)

i didn’t have high hopes for today. with how busy i’ve been, i haven’t been looking forward to my birthday, and i got some news last night that made me sure today was gonna suck. but it thankfully hasn’t sucked. my 21st birthday has been different and a bit… quieter than my past birthdays, but it’s been okay. i got an assortment of cake pops instead of an actual cake since i’ve been craving them, and a smoothie from my favourite smoothie place. my mom made me a virtual animated card instead of buying me one from the store (it was silly, but still nice). i’m currently eating my birthday dinner (breakfast for dinner), and am looking forward to enjoying my cake pops later. the people i celebrate with today look different from the people i celebrated with last year, but i’m still so grateful.

but, the highlight of my day was an unexpected one. i’ve been casually looking to adopt a second cat the past few months. i’ve met and considered a lot of cats, but none of them felt right. today, i met one who did: meet zazu. this sweet little angel will be coming home with me on saturday.

she’s 4 years old, and so, so sweet. she came in with her two brothers after their owner sadly passed away. she didn’t seem vv interested in me at first, but quickly warmed up. i spent about an hour with her just sitting with her and petting her. she loves chin scritches and head rubs, and was purring the whole time. little baby was even making biscuits in the air, it was so so precious. i adore her. <3 i have no idea how her and bonk will get along, but i’m optimistic.

thank you so much to everyone for all the birthday wishes! they’ve really meant so much to me. i’m not sure when i’ll be around again since my life is about to get even busier haha, but i’ll keep ya’ll updated on zazu once she’s home!

☾ GeminiTay posted a new Hermitcraft video! Her base is already incredible-looking, so I can't wait to see how the interior progresses from here.
☾ My embroidery floss bobbins arrived, so I spent some more time organizing them! I wasn't able to finish unfortunately, but I'm a lot closer now, so maybe next time!
☾ Some merch I ordered arrived today and I'm super happy with all of it eeeeee
☾ And I got to play through another day in Rune Factory 5!

- Work went well and I got a lot done.

- I just earned my second gym badge in my Pokemon White Nuzlocke! Thankfully, no one fainted against Lenora thanks to my careful strategizing.

- @Foreverfox The Dallas Mavericks just defeated the Philadelphia 76'ers 133-126!!!!! What an offensive display between Luka and Kyrie!!

➣ I was greeted very sweetly by my favorite person. She called me her little blue streak while embracing me and my heart damn near melted, lol.
➣ There was some time before her shift started at work. We were chilling in the dining room and I opened up to her about something bothering me, which was something I was hoping to have time to do, and before you knew it were snuggling up to each other. The dining room was empty, don’t worry. I’m not really into PDA either… I just haven’t felt this comfortable with a person before.
➣ I went to the store and picked up a card for a coworker whose birthday is coming up! I picked her up a $50 gift card for her favorite arts and crafts store. She’s a very hard worker so she deserves it.
➣ I feel a lot better about a situation I was dealing with thanks to my favorite person. I was even considering deleting my Snapchat because I literally only use it to talk with the people in question.
➣ I’m very happy my weekend is coming up and I’ll have time for myself.

Today I'm happy because:

- I went into the office again and it was much quieter. Not a lot of people there today.
- My boss shared some more pictures of her adorable little Frenchie puppy.
- I was able to take walks on both my morning and afternoon breaks.
- I got a decent amount of work done today and left on time.
- The sky was cloudy but the temperature was fairly warm.
- Spring is coming. So many trees are starting to bloom.
- I had some of that amazing peanut butter brownie ice cream that I brought home earlier this week.
- Tomorrow is Friday! I'm expecting it to be a quiet day (fingers crossed) and then I'll get to rest over the weekend.

@xara Zazu is beautiful! What a wonderful birthday present! I hope her and Bonk will get along well. Bonk is such a cutie too!

We got my little fence thing fixed better so my determined dog will leave it alone and not bother my potato bags.
I was happy to find that this large plastic pot I had left over from a few years ago only had regular dirt in it and not flowering potting soil. So, I did a quick dump and rinse of it and I will be using it for some vegetables too!
I feel like I am making some nice progress at a slow pace on my island. Right now I am just saving bells and miles for the time being. I am only at 1 star, but that is because I need to get more villagers moved in.
Everybody in the house seems to be in a really good mood which is a bonus.
It is a little chilly outside and rainy.. well more of a wintery mix but it is mostly rain and nothing is sticking on the ground luckly. So.. I am going to take a hot shower now since I am done being outside.

Feeling hopeful with Spring being around the corner. - It was a very mild winter, which actually made me sad as someone who enjoys the snow and ice...but, Spring will be a welcome change from the shades of gray and brown.

I'm a fan of all seasons, almost equally, but I'm excited for Spring too! I always get excited for the next season as we creep up on it. I love decorating with pastel colors and flowers.

I'm happy today, but not for any specific reason. Most days are kind of the same for me because I work six days a week every week, but I'm pretty happy everyday still. I am really looking forward to dinner and playing Pokemon with my husband later tonight.

I finally got around to beating my Pokémon Violet game here late last night and made it just in time for the current raid event to get Iron Leaves and Walking Wake. My friend help me accomplish this so much quicker too. I transferred my main team over to her game so she could help me train them fully, which allowed me to beat it. I was so worried I wouldn't make it to the current raid event, but I'm so happy I did and very thankful for my friend.

Also, both my friend and I purchased the DLC for Scarlet and Violet, so I can't wait to experience it and play. It looks so good from the pictures.

Today I'm happy because:

- It was cold and rainy out so I decided to work from home. That also meant I got to sleep a little bit longer.
- I had a really calm and easy work day. I'm happy with the amount of work I completed.
- We ordered some pretty reusable fiberglass chopsticks and they arrived today.
- We got Japanese take out for dinner so we could try out the new chopsticks.
- I ate some more of that delicious peanut butter brownie ice cream.
- I ordered some presents for my husband's birthday and our anniversary. They're both a few months away, but it's nice to have that done.
- I enjoyed a nice, hot shower and did some self-care.
- I'm looking forward to the weekend!

- I finished the work week strong and got paid today. Thinking about whaling for C6 Dehya in Genshin Impact just because Pyro is my favorite Vision in the game, lol.

- I earned my third gym badge in my Pokemon White Nuzlocke with no deaths! Some of my Pokemon evolved as well.

- The Dallas Stars take on the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow, and it will be on ABC. The Dallas Mavericks also take on the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, and it will also be on the same channel. I'm extremely excited to watch both games!

- A new episode of My Hero Academia is just hours away. I'm really looking forward to watching it.
