What Are You Happy About Today?

just went through absolute hell getting everything to work but my tablet is officially up and running, and I re-purchased Artrage (the only digital art program I ever figured out how to use lol)!!!!! It feels sooo weird using it again after all these years, I'm relieved it's mostly how I remember it even though it's a newer version. I'm just really excited to be doing some art again after so long. ;-;
 
I'm not having the best day, but I can be happy about a few things today.

➣ I'll finally be back in my favorite person's arms again tomorrow. 🥺
➣ I found a new snack at Target today I'm excited to try.
➣ I made some progress in the Pokémon Crystal mod. I was having quite a bit of trouble with Morty's gym because of dream eater, but I managed to train up my Pokémon and win. He was more difficult than Whitney for me, which is concerning, but I am confident with my team as it is right now. I now have six badges, so I'm getting there.
 
I’m very happy because my 3DS started working again. I’m not sure how but when my brother turned it on it just started actually working. It hasn’t worked for 10 days, so I’m happy, but I have to give him 500,000 bells in WW and NL. I made a bet that I’d give him that if he could somehow fix it and technically he kind of did. I’m also upset that my town is are in shambles but at least I can play for once.
 
Late post, but I'm happy about a few things today.

- I was productive at work today and had a good time. 📊

- I ordered sushi and had some of it for lunch and then the Ahi Tuna Tower for dinner. 😋

- I managed to win a raffle in real life today! 🎊

- I let my kitty into my room and loved on her. 🐱

- The Texas Rangers avoided the potential sweep from the Houston Astros by winning 13-5!! ⚾ 🔥

- I'm really loving Space Camp here on TBT and the comradery behind it, plus the new forum theme is amazing!! I managed to snap some screenshots so that I have them for the future. :giggle: 💚
 
☾ I was having some pretty miserable cramps today, but I still managed to work on some tasks for Space Camp and spectate my first livestream on here, which was really fun! ^^ I'm hoping tomorrow I'll be feeling up to finishing at least some of what I started working on.
☾ I had a couple cups of fresh ginger tea with honey this evening (lovely, very comforting) and watched a little Youtube with my family! 🍯
 
Today I'm happy because:

- The fix we put in last night worked. Hopefully that means I can spend the next 2 days catching up on my regular work.
- My boss ordered pizza for us since we had a study session during lunch.
- I got to leave work early for a massage therapy session. I really needed this today.
- The massage made me feel so much better.
- My dog was cute and sweet to me today.
- My husband was also very kind and loving.
- I made some more progress on my passport entry.
- I love the new banners we've been getting. So pretty!
- I started working on the frequency puzzle. I've already got several words figured out.
- I'm getting ready to go to bed. I'm so tired.
 
♡ I got a Purple Star Fragment after doing a trade with @/Blink.!! I absolutely love it and I think it looks really neat in my lineup. 🌟

♡ I wasn't having the best day today, but I felt better after talking to @/xSuperMario64x about it. I'm grateful to have a great friend like him to listen and be supportive. 💜

♡ I submitted my Cosmic Canvas entry and started the first Far Out Frequencies puzzle! I also got myself a Blue Crescent Moon to complement my purple one. 🌙

♡ Had a nice cup of tea earlier. I usually drink coffee and I haven't had tea in a while, and it was pretty good! 🍵
 
- Did something I've been putting off for a while and made a doctor's appointment this morning. Got prescribed with a lot of stuff because I went for multiple reasons, but I'm happy I did it, and got a likely diagnosis for the problems I've been having.

- Got home, took some ibuprofen because I had a headache + leg ache lmao, then promptly passed out.

- My brother successfully sold his old house and bought the house he wanted to buy! I'm happy for him, he'll be moving a bit closer, and into a nicer area than where he was
 
just something simple, my day started out pretty meh but I'm feeling better now. I had a good day at work, got to write in my journal a good amount, started watching a video about Mario Party 3, and I'm looking forward to heading to bed soon so I can decompress 😊

aww it's my pleasure, I always try to give my friends a space to vent when they feel like they can't turn anywhere else 🥺💞
 
➣ I saw my favorite person after what seemed like forever and she cheered me up about something that was bothering me. I almost forgot how perfect she was, haha.
➣ I decided to decided to treat myself to some Taco Bell since my day wasn't the best last night and it was delicious.
➣ I’ve been very excited to show this off. Since our trips to Disney World are going to be a yearly thing, I decided to order a custom skin for my MagicBand. You can see all of the colors while wearing it. I will be installing it on my next day off, but I'm very happy with the finished product.

Just recapping the past couple of days!

  • It's a little lengthy, so feel free to skip this point. Work went okay for me and it was a little chill too. One thing I'd like to mention is that one of the vehicles that was being serviced is a 2019 Mazda 3. Why? Because that car appears in Gran Turismo 7, so it's pretty rad actually getting to see a car up close that appears in a video game! Sadly, I didn't get to help out servicing the vehicle as I was told to do the others instead, but I did at least get to go for a ride with one of my co-workers for a test drive! There are some differences (driver's side is on the left and has automatic transmission while the one in-game has the driver's side on the right and has manual transmission), but it still made me happy on the inside how there are some similarities and actually being in one... I'm not quite sure about the accuracy of engine sounds from Gran Turismo 7 since we didn't go beyond 3k rpm, so I can't exactly say. I wonder if another car that appears in the series ever decides to show up for servicing lol.
  • I bought some doughnuts from Krispy Kreme after I finished work!
  • I played Tears of the Kingdom for a few hours to relax my mind.
  • I made some more progress in my drawing!
  • I'm liking the current grass colours from the event hehehe. I love me some blue!

  • I have a day off from work, so I got to relax at home for the whole day
  • I made decent progress in my drawing today.
  • I played Gran Turismo 7 and achieved the gold target in an online time trial which involved driving in wet conditions. I was far off the pace but after following the ghost references from faster players (and a handful of laps filled with annoying mistakes), I was able to significantly improve on my time!... Eventually, I drove the Mazda 3 again that I mentioned from earlier hehehe.
I find it amusing how the 2023 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix will take place this weekend on this same track at Spa Francorchamps.

☾ Feeling a little better today and I was able to finish up the Space Camp tasks that are currently available!! It was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to hopefully spectating a stream again tomorrow. c:
☾ Watched a little Youtube with my family and saw fWhip's latest New Life episode! I also got to level-grind my Pokémon White team a little bit while we were watching stuff.
☾ Aaaaand I've started my third playthrough of Jack Jeanne! 💛
 
Today I'm happy because:

- I took both of my breaks and a full lunch.
- I took walks on both my morning and afternoon breaks. 👟
- I love the different colors and banners during Space Camp. 🪐✨
- I earned some points and tokens from one of the events. 🎟️
- I made some good progress on the Far Out Frequency puzzle. 🖊️
- The Moon Bunnies are back in the lead for now. 🐇🌑
- I saw Mortimer, the bat, on my porch tonight. 🦇
- Tomorrow is Friday! One more day of work and then I can rest and focus more on the events during the weekend. 📆
 
♡ I got to spend more time with my brother! We went for a walk and got some icecream (cookie dough flavor). 🍦 We also made some food earlier, and it was delicious. I'm very happy to be getting along with my brother again.

♡ Found a few cool violin covers of some System of a Down songs! They sound really good and are faithful to the original songs, in my opinion. 🎻
I prefer the other one I listened to, but couldn't share it here because of the title. ;w; But I like this one, too! Especially since it's one of my favorite SoaD songs, hehe.

♡ I had some absolutely amazing lasagna for dinner. I love pasta, but the lasagna I ate today (well, yesterday) was insanely good. 😭 We have some leftovers, so I'll probably have some for lunch!

♡ Just happy about my pets being adorable. Shadow and Caramel were sleeping together on the dog bed and it was so cute. 🥺 I couldn't get a picture in time, sadly. But it's nice seeing them together! 🐱🐶
