What Are You Happy About Today?

☾ I finished Pokémon HeartGold! Got the rest of my team maxed out (with the help of my remaining Rare Candies hehe), defeated Red, and caught Kyogre and Latias! It feels nice to finally put a proper wrap on my first Pokémon game—I actually got really close to completing when I was a kid, but Red put a stop to those plans ahahah.
☾ And I decided to start playing Pokémon White too! Not very far in since HeartGold took up a lot of my free time today, but it's fun to have moved onto the Gen 5 games!
☾ I got another bromide of one of my comfort characters!! ;w; It's fairly rare art as well I think!
☾ The Celebrating Diversity event has started!! I was able to finish the rough sketch for my entry, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's creations. ^^
☾ My parents and I watched SolidarityGaming's second episode of New Life today!
 
i usually don’t post in here this late (it’s thursday now lol), but i got side-tracked with an assignment 😅 had a busy but decent day, hope you all are doing well! night night 🫶

*⁀➷ my halloween lineup for this year is finally complete (ty again @Aquilla @BungoTheElf, lob u guys) !! 💜 it took a bit of date-trading, but i’m grateful to everyone who helped! i‘m so excited for my spooky season aesthetic this year now haha

*⁀➷ i was working on a part of one of my culminating assignments all afternoon and night, and despite the fact i’m tired and kept getting sidetracked, i was able to complete it, as well as most of the next part! 💪🏻🥳 i was honestly doubtful that i’d get it done, so i’m pretty proud of myself!

*⁀➷ the celebrating diversity event started! i’m so excited about the star frag participation prize; been wanting a blue frag forever, maybe i’ll be able to grab one on the day i graduate? 👀💙 i already have a couple ideas in mind for my entry, but i’m still thinking about what i wanna do. hopefully i’ll find time to whip something together, i’m excited to see everyone else’s entries! the ones i’ve seen so far are so nice 💙

*⁀➷ tried a new energy drink; “pacific punch” monster. i hadn’t drank a monster in forever, but this was pretty tasty! it also helped me with my assignment lol. i have a lemonade flavour to try i’m less excited about, but i’ve heard good things about it!

*⁀➷ played with bonk this afternoon; she was extremely silly as per usual 🖤

im happy that today is the last day of school. i finally figured out how to make stickers with my cricut machine ( i was having problems with it before) that i got for christmas 6 months ago, so that’s what ill be doing later today. also excited for my birthday.
 
- Finished work for the week! (y) Had a pretty chill time today, listened to a nutrition podcast while I worked

- Despite a marking strike for universities, it seems like I'll get at least half of my assignments graded on time, which is more than I was expecting
 
☾ I saw some new official chibi art of one of my favorite characters!! ;v; 💙
☾ I'm still working towards earning the Burglar Ring in Stardew Valley, but I was able to get the Slime Charmer Ring today! ^^ Can't wait to get a slime hutch built and become a slime rancher in two separate games.
☾ I worked on my entry for the Celebrating Diversity event a little more!
☾ My family and I watched GoodTimesWithScar's first New Life episode!
☾ I was also able to beat the first gym in Pokemon White!
 
➣ I saw my favorite person very briefly today. She took a few days off work due to being busy and I would have missed her if we’ve gone over a week without seeing each other, so she stopped in to check on me. Also, she knows how my BPD brain works so she’s always been careful about the way she speaks to me. For example, she told me that she’s happy I have someone else to talk to. You can probably assume where my mind went, like thinking she was sick of me and had someone else to spend time with. She knew exactly what I was thinking and reassured me immediately that wasn’t the case, without me having to say anything. I seriously could not ask for a better favorite person. <3
➣ I’m happy that I finished my art for the Celebrating Diversity event. I’m not expecting to win by any means, but I’m satisfied with my work either way. I am looking forward to seeing all of those entries. I also went to Panda Express today, so I received a fortune cookie. I thought the fortune was perfect considering the event and all; take a look.

➣ I’m happy with how hard I worked today. I was able to get everything caught up and keep it clear for the next shift. I always do everything I can so the next person coming in doesn’t have much to do, especially my favorite person, haha. I swear on my life she doesn’t get special treatment, lmao. I leave the station nice for everyone. But… she does do things differently for me when I work the next morning because she knows I have preferences.
 
Today I'm happy because:

- I slept well again last night and got to sleep in a bit this morning.
- I got a doctor's appointment over with and everything looked good. Just have to wait on the pathology results.
- My dog missed me while I was at my appointment and attacked me playfully when I got home. He's such a cutie!
- I made it home in time for our afternoon walk. The weather was nice and it was a good walk.
- I watched Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul. So emotional but also so good.
- I spent some quality time with my husband and my dog.
- I saw Xavier, the rabbit, and Fiona, the groundhog, outside this evening.
- My aunt sent me some new pictures of the kittens and they are so unbelievably adorable!
- I came up with an idea for my Celebrating Diversity entry. Now to see if I can successfully create it.
- I still have three more days to relax before I have to go back to work.
 
This week's kind of been a whirlwind, but I'm happy about a lot today.

- I slept in and got plenty of sleep. 💤

- I loved on my kitties. 🐱

- My family made sure I was okay and even shared their dinner with me. 💚

- I made it to trailblazer level 63 in Honkai: Star Rail. 🎮

- I'm really excited for the Texas Rangers @ Tampa Bay Rays baseball series this weekend. Not only is it going to be a series between the best two teams in the MLB right now, but I have family that lives near Tampa as well! ⚾ 🔥

- Just one more work day to go and I also get paid tomorrow! 💰

- I'm feeling really thankful for all the people still in my life. The sentiments from LadyDestani and MiniPocketWorld at the top of this page are true! I've also had this thought lately that's kept me going:

"No matter what happens, no matter who you meet or who you say goodbye to, never forget who you are." :giggle:
 
- I ate some Nepali food that my mom brought, and it tasted yummy! My favorite dish was the momos dumplings.
- Read a book in the afternoon.
- Worked out at home.
- Played AC: New Horizons and finally caught a scorpion on a mystery island tour! At first, I missed catching it with my net and the scorpion was chasing me all around the island, though I turned around and caught it right in the nick of time. I then donated it to the Museum.

another middle of the night/very early post from me lol… i ended up falling asleep before i could post earlier 😅

*⁀➷ i was able to complete the next part of the culminating assignment i was working on yesterday!! 🥳 i also received a lot more responses from the survey i made for it than i was expecting, which will help me a lot in finishing the final 2 parts of the assignment! i know at least a couple of the responses came from here, so thank you very much for the help! 💜

*⁀➷ i went to both of my afternoon classes and had a pretty decent day at school! i only have one class to worry about tomorrow, so i’m looking forward to having most of the day to myself to work on stuff!

*⁀➷ i came up with a couple of new lineup ideas that i really like! i think they’d be really nice for if we end up going to space camp next month 🤗

*⁀➷ did my daily self-care! 💪🏻
 
- Went to my first physiotherapy session which was great! I received a lot of exercises to try to help with an issue I've been experiencing

- Bought two cute swimsuits for the summer that I'm happy with

- Got some new essential oils for my diffuser. I love Saje's scents

- Spent some time reading a good book

- Went for a walk with my dad

- Completed some paperwork/inquiries I've been meaning to do
 
Today I'm happy because:

- I've been sleeping really well all week and feeling rested. I haven't even been sleeping that much longer, only 8 hours on average, but it helps so much. I wish I could get this much sleep on the days I have to work.
- The weather was really beautiful again today.
- My husband mowed the lawn and did some yardwork.
- I cleaned the bathroom and it looks so shiny.
- I was able to check off most of the items on my to-do list for this week. I'm really happy with how productive I was.
- I watched some TV and played some games.
- My husband and I went out to eat dinner together. I dressed up a bit (by my standards) and it made me feel good. Dinner was delicious and we have leftovers for tomorrow.
- I started working on my Celebrating Diversity entry. It's not going to look as good as I would like, but I think it will be acceptable.
 
☾ This actually happened yesterday, but I didn't see it until after posting—we got another Jack Jeanne character teaser!! ;w; And there's just a few days left to go until release!
☾ I got Adaman's friendship level up to 20 in Pokémon Masters EX and unlocked a photo!!!
☾ I saw yet more new art of one of my comfort characters too eeeee 💙
☾ I was able to get some more work in on my Celebrating Diversity entry!
☾ Finally earned my Burglar Ring in Stardew Valley!! Also anonymously had a house built for Pam and Penny, and took a few visits to Ginger Island for the first time!
☾ Also got to chill out with my mom for a little while, watch some Youtube, and made it a little further in Pokémon White!

*⁀➷ i completed and submitted part 1 of one of my culminating assignments! i winged pretty much the whole thing, but i tried my best and i’m still proud of myself for getting it done! i can’t believe i only have a week of classes left : o

*⁀➷ i didn’t sleep the greatest last night, but i was able to sleep in today which helped me feel more rested :’) hopefully i’ll be able to get some sleep this weekend!

*⁀➷ it’s finally friday!! it honestly feels like this week has gone by so fast, but i’m excited to sleep in this weekend and work on some stuff! i can’t work on 2 of my culminating assignments until my teachers post the instructions for the next parts, so i’ll have a bit of time to myself! maybe i’ll be able to get started on my celebrating diversity entry 👀

*⁀➷ i tried my lemonade-flavoured monster energy drink! i wasn’t expecting to like it, but it actually wasn’t too bad! it kinda tasted like 7-up but without the lime lol. it helped me a lot in getting part 1 of my assignment done 😅

Today I'm happy because:

- I got to sleep in this morning. I had trouble falling asleep last night so I really needed it.
- The weather has stayed nice all week and that always makes me happy.
- I came up with some more ideas for my Celebrating Diversity entry.
- I had a relaxing day at home with my husband and my dog. I snuggled with both of them.
- I still have one more day off before I have to go back to work. I'm hoping to get more sleep tonight.
