What Are You Happy About Today?

I'm happy because I exercised today and I have been exercising for the past few days this week and I think my endurance is already improving (albeit very slightly)! It doesn't have to be 1st of January to start something new!

My doggy and I spent some time together too.

Yesterday I saw my grandma's kittens (her cat had kitties on Easter) and I took a picture of one and made her my wallpaper! it has beautiful blue eyes and white-Grey fur

That's awesome and also very true. When I was working out with my trainer at the gym a year ago he mentioned how everyone sets these "exercise new year's resolutions," but then after several weeks/months people give up on them and stop going. Looking to get back into exercising outside of martial arts myself.

Today I'm just happy because work was slow, I played some video games, and having a milkshake now while watching the end of the Hurricanes versus Panthers hockey game. : P

What I did yesterday:
- I ate some delicious pizza at a restaurant.
- Completed a drawing for my art class in conté crayon. Btw, in case you don't know what it is, a conté crayon is an art medium created in France during the Napoleonic wars when there was a shortage of graphite and charcoal for artists to use. It's actually quite an easy medium to work with since it's fairly easy to erase and the artwork turned out pretty good!
- I went for a walk outside in the afternoon.
- I watched some island tours online to get some inspiration for designing my island in New Horizons.
- I received an A on an exam for college that I studied diligently for. So proud that my hard work paid off!

What I did today:
- Visited my aunt's apartment and chatted a bit with my maternal uncle who came to visit her as well.
- Played Pokémon Scarlet today and caught a shiny Drifloon. Btw, you guys who are interested should play this game, it's loads of fun! The Gym Leaders have these cute and exciting gym puzzles like chasing Sunflora, and the Psychic-type Gym has a yoga exercise that's very similar to the group stretching sessions in AC: New Horizons! Also, I was so thrilled that the games have new Pokémon based on a dolphin, flamingo, grasshopper, and ostrich! And the cities and routes are so big and immersive, and many of the cities are based on actual locations in Spain. Granted, I think PL: Arceus impressed me more and is easier to play for shiny hunting, though still a lovely game nevertheless. Hopefully, the DLC will add a battle facility similar to the Battle Frontier and more clothing options which Scarlet/Violet are lacking in. Then it should be pretty close to an ideal Pokémon game. I also found out on social media that the DLC will add new gameplay changes, though I didn't read the article to avoid getting spoiled.
- Played AC: New Horizons and made some progress on my island.
- Watched a football match and I'm glad that the team I liked won.
- Went for a nice walk outside.

- Submitted my Seen Exam today, I deleted as much as I could to reach the word limit but still over it by like 200 words. But at least I submitted it on time ig

- The weather recently is perfect and set to stay that way for the foreseeable future, perfect temp of 15-20 celsius and no rain

- Today is my 3rd TBT anniversary and my 4th wedding anniversary!
- Successfully got a scammer removed from deviantArt today without falling for their attempted scam. The dA support team replied very promptly and said they were able to confirm that the user created the account to disrupt the community and use dA inappropriately and thanked me for looking out for the community!

Today has been super stressful, which is strange for a Friday for me, but I'm super proud of myself for the initiative I've taken on multiple fronts in order to get through things.

Also, I'm going to go see the new Super Mario movie with some friends tonight!

And tonight is game one between the Dallas Stars and Las Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL Western Conference Finals.

➣ I saw my favorite person today and right from the start she was very sweet. I left early yesterday and things piled up for her but she wasn’t mad at all. I was telling her about something that happened earlier in the week and in the most concerned voice she asks “what happened?” It wasn’t anything bad, but I loved the concern either way. She’s so ****ing sweet, I can’t.

Put this is spoiler because it’s irrelevant to the point.

Basically, the line at the bank was just held up for almost two hours. Thankfully, I was getting paid hourly, lol. Two hours for a deposit is absolutely insane, but I’m glad I tagged along for that trip.

I was also saying that it’s funny when people start forming lines or gathering around her to say hi because of how likable she is as a person and I’m just there like “can I just get my hug lol?” And she used that as an opportunity to hug me right there. Just thought it was cute, lol. I walked right into this one.
➣ I told my favorite person I was really into the Blue Lock anime and she started watching it. I think she likes it at least a little to have made it to episode ten. I told her Bachira is a character I feel like I very much relate to. I’m highly considering getting a Bachira keychain or sticker. People who know me in person at least would probably make the connection (if you’ve finished the first season).
➣ I am excited about a package arriving on Sunday. Not sure UPS delivers on Sunday, but that’s what the delivery date says. I’m looking forward to the package either way because it’s something I need for travel purposes. I’m still putting off getting those swim trunks…
➣ I’m excited about having the whole weekend off to play some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

- everything is going okay with my dinner outfit!! just booked my hair appt, took my dress to the tailor to get it fixed and got my makeup!
- so ready for the long weekend! gonna try to finish my work and my volunteer hours done as well. still need to talk to my teachers though..
- express shipping was a total pain last time, but i think we're getting somewhere with this my package! i ordered it and it's coming really soon (hopefully). i have a very important item inside there so hoping for the best rn.

Today I'm happy because:

- It's Friday! The work week is done and I survived!
- We found a resolution to the issue I discovered late yesterday.
- I gave out some reward points to a few of my coworkers. I love recognizing people when they deserve it.
- I was able to take walks outside on both my morning and afternoon breaks.
- I left work on time. I'm worried I'll have a lot to do on Monday, but I was done with this week.
- I got an issue with a fraudulent transaction resolved quickly with my bank. I have to wait for a new card now, but that's a minor inconvenience.
- My husband was really sweet and tried to cheer me up.
- I saw a new bunny in my backyard while walking my dog and it didn't seem that afraid of me. This wasn't Ms. Potter or Olive. It had a dark black patch on it's butt.
- The sky was the most lovely shade of deep velvety blue this evening.
- I get to sleep in tomorrow and I plan on relaxing this weekend.

☾ I got to visit with my aunt and her kitties today! I haven't seen her in a while, so it was nice to catch up and chat.
☾ I played some more Stardew Valley again this afternoon!
☾ Watched some Youtube with my family and saw LDShadowLady's Empires season two finale! The parts with the goblin children nearly had me in stitches ahahaha.
☾ And I got my daily reading in! Quite a bit later than originally planned, but I still did it!

- Lovely sunny day today!

- Had some good food, made a tuna sandwich which I haven't eaten in ages, my fav pain au chocolat - chocolate mousse combo, and the coffee I made had the perfect ratio today and tasted delicious

- Today was a short break from all the uni work I've been doing recently. I've just been relaxing, watching travel videos on YouTube and stuff. Gotta start on more work later tonight though,,

- Did laundry and dried my clothes out on the line

small thing as of right now: i finished off one of my courses with a 97, possibly the highest i've ever finished off a school course with and im just so happy trying to finish off this semester (and high school as a whole) with a bang and this just shows i've been working really hard!

- the potatoes I planted have several leafy stocks popping out of the top of the big bucket of dirt. I had to google if that's what potatoes even do and apparently they are on the right track (I think)
- my mom is making progress each day, even if it is slow
- I got one of those Deep n Delicious chocolate freezer cakes. Idk if they have those outside of canada but they are super mediocre and i love them

Hey hey hey, it's time for a happy post!

- Woke up today and have felt genuinely good all day today despite being off my medicine.

- Practiced some self-care.

- I fed the kitties and changed their litter. I actually really love doing that for them. And they appreciate it too!

- I've had fun getting back into playing my file of Pokemon Violet with my unique team, and just generally enjoying vegging out since this coming week is going to be pretty busy for me.

- The Texas Rangers beat the Colorado Rockies again and are STILL in 1st in the division. Been playing some pretty good ball this year.

Today I'm happy because:

- I slept so deeply last night and got to sleep in this morning. I'm still a bit tired, but feel better than I have in the past week or so.
- The weather was nice all afternoon. The rain held off until the evening.
- I saw a lot of dogs on our afternoon walk around the neighborhood.
- I got to watch another episode of Made in Abyss and play some games.
- I did several loads of laundry. I washed the comforter and put fresh sheets on the bed.
- My dog was really good for most of the day. He laid on the couch with me while we watched TV.
- My new leggings were delivered a few days ago. I finally had time to open them and try them on. They fit perfectly. I intend to use them for walking and working out.
- This may sound bad but I'm happy that my mom didn't call me today. It's not that I mind talking to her, but she's been calling me almost every single day with problems for the past few weeks. It was nice to have a day that wasn't interrupted with her stressing out and needing help. I'm also happy for her because I hope that means she had a better day too.
- I still have tomorrow to sleep in and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

☾ I saw a turtle going through the yard—she was absolutely booking it too, at least as much as a turtle can, in any case. I also saw a huge slug! It had to be the size of my finger.
☾ Watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Fairy Tail with my family this morning! We also got to see a few short Youtube videos later on.
☾ Saw some new art of one of my favorite characters!
☾ I played a ton of Stardew Valley! I think I'm starting to figure some more things out ahahaha, and I have a duck now! Her name is Marguerite. Also currently incubating a void egg!!

➣ My favorite person did this in the back of a manga she got me for my birthday. I didn’t even realize until recently. I was so appreciative of all the little gifts, but this is just perfect.

➣ My mom told me that it would be smart to get a water bottle for Disney World, so I went ahead and got a Bachira sticker for it, because why not? Hoping to meet some other fans of the anime if they recognize it.

➣ In the midst of negotiating an eBay sale. Hopefully we can come to an agreement.
➣ I slept in today and had tons of fun playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with a friend!
